Guest ISportsFan Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 How unbelieveable is it that FUNAKI got a rollup pin on Tajiri! Tajiri and Jaime Noble lost to Funaki and Kidman, thus ending Funaki's losing streak on Velocity. Jason Stolen from tpww.net.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 FUNAKI WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest midnight_burn Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Funaki won?! The apocalypse must be here.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 YES!!!!!!!!!! Funaki so rules all.
Guest Incandenza Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 This is the greatest day in the history of our sport!
Guest The Electrifyer Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 WOW that is a shocking turn of events. But in Japan or in his early days, was Funaki any good?
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 *sniff* *wipes a tear away* ..there is still something right with this world..
Guest Incandenza Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 I'll remember where I was the day Funaki finally won a match. Maybe he can be Barry Horowitz for the new generation.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Remember when Horowitz beat Owen Hart because after he tapped out Owen would not release the Sharpshooter?
Guest TestKick Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 I just hope Funaki was actually planned to win the match this time.
Guest ISportsFan Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 I just hope Funaki was actually planned to win the match this time. Jason
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Funaki gets a victory?!? *marks out* Hopefully this will lead to a big Funaki push and my dream feud of Tajiri & Funaki. I can dream, right?
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Maybe Funaki just couldn't take it anymore and decided to get a pin. Funaki Screwed Vince

Guest claydude14 Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 FUNAKIMANIA IS RUNNING WILD THE BLUE AND WHITE BROTHERS INDEED! mike awesome not on velocity... could he have made smack?!
Guest Bricks Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 I better tape this so future generations can see that Funaki got a televised win. INDEEEEED!
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Well, Velocity looks like a big waste this week, aside from Funaki/Kidman v. Tajiri/Knoble. I would stick around for Rico... that is, if both Holly and Loyd weren't involved.
Guest Smeghead Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 WOW that is a shocking turn of events. But in Japan or in his early days, was Funaki any good? I've seen some of his stuff in Michinoku Pro, and he kicked ass. He could probably kick ass now, but so far WWE has made him look like a weakling. Hopefully things are changing now.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Bull Buchanan...Albert...in a match...HOSS~!....FIVE STARS!...*marks out*
Guest bob_barron Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 JR: BAH GAWD ALBERT-BULL MAH GAWD ALMIGHTY! King: I know you're excited but did you have to shoot it in my eye?
Guest Hitman Jebus Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 SPOILER.................... Funaki was also on SmackDown! (When it rains Funaki, it pours Funaki) Check it out: Backstage, Funaki interviews Nidia. Funaki gets Nidia's thoughts on her upcoming match tonight with Torrie Wilson. Instead of giving her thoughts she talks about how big her breasts and ass are. Just as Nidia was about to place Funaki's hand on her breast, BLANK gets thrown through a door by BLANK.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Does this mean a push for Funaki? Maybe even the Cruiserweight title? Damn...I am marking out just thinking about it.
Guest Incandenza Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Funaki must be thrilled. Hell, I'm thrilled for him.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 SAY IT WITH ME NOW!!! *WHOLE* *FUNAKIN* *SHO* WHOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!! WHERE'S HIS WORLD TITLE PUSH???!!! GRABBIN DA BOOBAY!! MARK OUT MOMENT OF THE DECADE!!!
Guest Youth N Asia Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Funaki won?!?!?!?! WOW...now maybe Justin Credible can get some tv time, maybe Jericho can get some credibility, maybe Taker will sell!!! A whole new world of possibilited has just opened up
Guest Your Olympic Hero Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 I'd much rather see Noble vs. Funaki at Summerslam than Noble vs. Kidman again. *prays*
