Guest TestKick Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 Funaki: Hardcore Champion Holds a televised win over HHH It would be great to see Funaki win the Cruiserweight Title, people would mark out. Everyone loves Funaki! Even marks, because he's the lovable loser. I also think it would be a great idea to team him up with Big Show. They could be The Big Shos.
Guest claydude14 Posted August 14, 2002 Report Posted August 14, 2002 the big shos... thats worse than the showgunns
Guest Incandenza Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 With this televised win, we are that much closer to my dream Wrestlemania ME of Test vs. Funaki.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 FNK! FNK! FNK! And Incandenza, will you settle for Funaki over test with the Funaki Lockie in the Heat Main Event?
Guest Incandenza Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 No! We need FNK and Test--aka Diesel for the 21st century--to headline Wrestlemania 19 in a dramatic recreation of the Michaels/Nash match from Wrestlemania 11!
Guest ShooterJay Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 Remember that time (I think it was on Heat) a year or so ago when Funaki beat all 3 Mean Street Posse BY HIMSELF? That kicked ass. Revel in the glory of FNK! VIVA FUNAKI~!

Guest Brian Posted August 15, 2002 Report Posted August 15, 2002 The fans were chanting Ichiro. Quite embarassing being the fucking Asian in the crowd.
Guest art_vandelay Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Is this his first victory since teaming up with Tajiri on Metal months ago? I'm really happy Funaki got the pin-fall this time, but I'm still waiting for a singles victory. The fans were chanting Ichiro. Quite embarassing being the fucking Asian in the crowd. Did you mark out for Rock's Chinese impersonation live like I did at home? And I hope they continue using Funaki to conduct interviews on SmackDown!. Maybe it'll eventually translate to a singles push.
Guest Brian Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 I can't stand the rock's promos anymore. Some are nice, but lately they've been horrible.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 The one at KOTR was the best since "Billy Gunn talks to God".
Guest Brian Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Yeah, his 1999/2000 was all good, some of his 2001/2002 stuff was up there, but since he's returned it's all been by the number, boring stuff. They're trying to hard to make him funny.
Guest massivHEDtrauma Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Funaki: Hardcore Champion Holds a televised win over HHH Wasn't that TAKA? Speaking of, where the hell is TAKA? Was he released? And why is the first part of his name spelled in all capitals?
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 Since Heels in Japan write thier names in English, they capitalize them to make it noticeable.
Guest claydude14 Posted August 16, 2002 Report Posted August 16, 2002 TAKA refused to sign an extension/new deal and showed up in some jap fed.
