Guest SlowChemical6 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 1. APA "Always Pounding Ass" T-Shirt - 'Nuff said. 2. Undertaker "Taker's Tattoo Shop" T-Shirt - This is a cool T-shirt...if you actually have a tattoo. Otherwise, someone is gonna ask to see your tattoo, and you're gonna feel like a jackass. 3. Stone Cold Steve Austin "Professional Ass Kicker" T-Shirt - Sooner or later, somebody is gonna take you up on this. 4. Undertaker "Try Me I'll Make You Famous" T-Shirt - See #3. Trust me, I own the shirt and I think that an average of about 1/100 people recognize this is an Undertaker shirt...the rest see it as a challenge for a fight. 5. Rock "U Bring The Ass..." T-Shirt - So, so lame. You better be one good-lookin' guy to wear this shirt, because most people are only gonna take the time to read the front. And even then, you're still gonna look corny. 6. Ric Flair "Wooooooooo" T-Shirt - For the sake of our eyes. 7. Kurt Angle "I'll Make You Tap Out" T-Shirt - Once again, see #3. You better be able to make people tap out for real, because some drunk or smart-ass or LEGITIMATE bad-ass might decide to take you up on it. 8. The Rock "I Just Got Checked Into The Smackdown Hotel" T-Shirt - This shirt excels in both the hideous AND lame-ass slogan department. Thank God it is out of print. 9. Godfather "Escort Service" T-Shirt - Who would wear this? 10. UnAmericans T-Shirt - Unless you live in an Arab nation, you are gonna get your motherfuckin' ass kicked wearing this.
Guest CanadianChick Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 10. UnAmericans T-Shirt - Unless you live in an Arab nation, you are gonna get your motherfuckin' ass kicked wearing this. I think that wearing it in Canada would be okay
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I wouldn't wear the Anti- Angle "You Suck" shirt in public either. My top 5: 1) APA "Always Poundin Ass" 2) Rock "You bring the Ass.." 3) Austin 3:16 Shirts in general now, especially the one that said "Otherside Jackass!" 4) Anti Angle - "You Suck" 5) UnAmericans Flag Shirt
Guest evenflowDDT Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 They have the UnAmericans upside-down flag shirt for sale? Dayamn, hope they've got a lot of Canadian business I'd add in the new D-Von "Testify" shirt, particularly if you live in the Bible Belt or a community with a lot of Christians. You might not always get your ass beat, but you'll certainly be looked down upon in the very least.
Guest LatinoHeat Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 3) Austin 3:16 Shirts in general now, especially the one that said "Otherside Jackass!" i wear that shirt in public. whats wrong with it?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I think that some people who know about Austin would think that by wearing that shirt you are saying you support a Wife Beater.
Guest bob_barron Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Goldust has a new shirt out!!!!! http://shopzone.wwe.com/escalate/store/Det...ther+superstars
Guest Extreme Forever Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I personally Hate All there Shirts. They Use cheesy slogans On them and just promote the big stars even more.
Guest Olympic Slam Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I wouldn't be caught dead wearing just about any WWE shirts, but these one's in general will gurantee you a sex-free decade........... 7. "Tazz Thug Supastar T-Shirt" Proclaiming one's self as a thug is a good way to get beaten up by someone who really is 6. APA "Always Pounding Ass" <S.Keith> I love shoot t-shirts that aren't supposed to be shoot t-shirts </S.Keith> 5. "Pound 4 Pound" Spike t-shirt........nuff said" 4. Put a little Smackdown on it" / "I do it till I'm RAW"......getting ever so close to shattering the "nerd barrier." 3. "Are you an Edge-head?" Are YOU serious? 2. "U Bring the Ass"........Great shirt.......if your goal in high school is to get your face re-arranged by the football team 1. "WWE Diva Talent Scout"..........maybe if you're 12 and you're just discovering that you like boobs, then maybe you might find this humorous. After that, it's time to move beyond the junior high fantasies
Guest SlowChemical6 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Yeah, I forgot about the Tazz "thug" line. Wanna have some fun? Walk around the Red Hook section of Brooklyn in that one.
Guest Slapnuts00 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Yeah, beyond a wrestling show, most wrestling shirts aren't fit to wear in public. I quesitoned the UnAmerican shirt the second I saw it, especially so close to Sept. 11. I mean who would wear a shirt that says "Unamerican" on it!?! Are the people in marketing actually thinking this will sell? I only have a few WWF shirts. 1. Smell What The Rock is Cooking shirt with the Brama Bull outline on it- got this one in like 98 or 99, don't really wear it anymore. But most knew who the Rock was to get it. 2. Jericho's Jerichoholics Anonymous shirt with the 12 steps to recovery- People seem to love this shirt, everyone asks me to turn around so they can read it. Usually they laugh and say it's awesome (I doubt some even know who Jericho is though). 3. Tazz's original orange "The Mood Is About to Change" shirt- it's cool looking enough, and 3 years ago Tazz was pretty hot upon debuting. 4. RVD's "Whatever" ying/yang shirt- Just got this at a Raw House show last month. Only worn it once since, but it's pretty cool...and it's RVD!
Guest SlowChemical6 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Actually, most of the shirts are cool. It's just a few that aren't fit to wear in public. Not suprisingly, the top guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, HHH, nWo, DX, and have the coolest T-shirts while the mid-carders and jobbers like Booker T, Edge, Eddie Guerrero, etc. get the crappy T-shirts. Although I do like the "Victim of the Crossface" shirt.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 That Raven shirt they had kicked all kinds of ass, so of course they discontinue that. bastards
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Aw pfft. If these guys can stay in business, I don't think the WWE's tees are too bad, in terms of sending the wrong message. Of course, then again, the only shirt I have is a WWF Racing shirt. =/
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 (DIES LAUGHING at the "Jesus did it for the Chicks" shirt) Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge EDIT: THIS COMPANY RULES! I'm so loving these shirts, with the exception of the I (plane) NY one.
Guest DARRYLXWF Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I can tell you now, any kid that wears an Austin 3:16 shirt will get FLAMED for being. 1. An idiot who wears a wrestling fan 2. For being 4 years out of date.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I would get an UnAmerican's shirt, but I would fear for my life, as I'm a pretty small guy, I'd probably get my ass kicked. I'd also be afraid to wear it on an airplane or something. I wear Austin/Tazz/Kurt Angle teeshirts in public. I really don't care what people think of me. It's cool. I remember having a "conversation" with a wrestling naysayer in FYE: Wrestling Naysayer: Is that a wrestling shirt? (points to my red Kurt Angle "I'll Make You Tap Out!" shirt) Me: Yeah, it is, cool huh? Wrestling Naysayer: Isn't that shit all fake? You're probably gay because you like watching men roll around in their underwear. Me: (sarcasm) Yeah, there's nothing better than that. Wrestling Naysayer: That shit is so stupid, I mean they don't even hit each other for real, it's stupid. Me: Cool man, I'll see you later, you have some excellent superfluous comments on my shirt, thank you for sharing your sense of perspicacity with me. WN: What? It was funny because he had no idea what I was talking about. Ah well, I ramble.
Guest TPC Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 If the Un-American T-shirt is for sale, were do they sell it? ShopZone?
Guest TUS_02 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Al Snow had a T-shirt that said, Got Head? I used to wear it CONSTANTLY in high school and not a day would go by where someone would stop me and ask me what the hell that meant. Same thing with Austin 3:16 (which I would happily wear if I knew where it was... it was so great for being so basic.)
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 My Austin 3:16 shirt is more or less DEAD. Most of the text has crumbled off of it. I loved that shirt...
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 I had the original D-X T-Shirt. That was awesome.
Guest DrEvil Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Undertaker "Taker's Tattoo Shop" T-Shirt - This is a cool T-shirt...if you actually have a tattoo. Otherwise, someone is gonna ask to see your tattoo, and you're gonna feel like a jackass. I'm ashamed for posting this but here goes: squat down, point up and say "Boss Boss de plane, de plannnne" I'll go sit in the corner now.
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 What about Scotty Too Hotty's shirt "Wanna See My Worm?" or Big Show's shirt with the arrow pointing down? Nothing wrong with the Austin shirts, but eh I'm a Texan
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 1. APA - always Pounding Ass 2. Rock - U bring the Ass 3. Rock - Team Bring it 4. nWo - 4...Life 5. HHH - Pain is Temporary, The Game is Forever 6. X-Pac - X-Pac Marks the Spot 7. Ric Flair - Whooooooooooooo thats it off the top of my head
Guest evenflowDDT Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 That Raven shirt they had kicked all kinds of ass, so of course they discontinue that. bastards Yea, that was seriously the coolest WWF shirt I ever saw. Too bad they only sold it at Shopzone (I know, I looked EVERYWHERE), because no matter how big of a Raven mark I am, there's no way in hell I'm spending $25 for a friggin' t-shirt! Funny story, I can't remember if I posted this before or not, when I went to RAW a few months ago I asked the guy at the souvenir stand if the Raven shirt was still in print and he said "who?"... sigh...
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 That's because the people who are manning those stands don't know what they're selling. They're just local merchandise people I think. I've been to five live events(three were television), and I always have to just give the number next to the shirt. I began going to get stuff later in the evening, because by then the people working have figured out what shirt is which person. First time buying a shirt(Columbia, SC House Show, April 22nd, 2000): "Um, a Tazz shirt in large please." "Who? Numbers, kid." "Er, a number 14 in large?" The shirts that I own(and how purchased): Tazz "The Mood is About to Change"(just mentioned) Cactus Jack(Gurney Mills Mall outside of Chicago, May 2000) BEST. SHIRT. EVER. The Rock "Layeth the Smacketh Down"(House Show, Greenville SC, August 2000) Kurt Angle "It's True! It's True!"(ditto) Dudley Boyz "Dem Damn Dudleys!" wrecking ball shirt(Raw, Greenville SC, December 2000) Undertaker "Deadman Inc."(Smackdown, CHARLESTON, BAYBEE!, February 2001) The Rock"Finally, The Rock has come back to North Charleston"(Ditto) Triple H"Cerebral Assassin"(House Show in CHARLESTON, BAYBEE!, July 2001, also notable for the first WCW/WWF match EVER, UT/Kane v. Awesome/DDP) Austin "What?" (Smackdown, CHARLESTON, BAYBEE! January 2002) The only one I have any qualms about wearing is the What? shirt, because people feel a need to "What?" me to death when I wear it. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Anglesault Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 They have the UnAmericans upside-down flag shirt for sale? Dayamn, hope they've got a lot of Canadian business I'd add in the new D-Von "Testify" shirt, particularly if you live in the Bible Belt or a community with a lot of Christians. You might not always get your ass beat, but you'll certainly be looked down upon in the very least. On the flip side, the old Edge and Christian shirt that looked like this Edge ------------Christian on the front, made a lot of people think I was a religious fanatic. (Edge to the Christians)
Guest SlowChemical6 Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Most of the original Austin 3:16 shirts are real cheap. The text on the front and sometimes the back flakes off when you wash it.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Well it's just annoying for me to wear my Booker T. shirt because everyone goes "I didn't just say that! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" followed by gratuitous hitting me on the back or putting there arm around me, making me want to rip it off.
