Look, i'm not saying he should be champion right now, but as soon as he started showing signs of getting over against rocky, hhh just came out and said 'oh actually i'm world champion, too' making his title look like nothing, and then he bumps his ass off against a barrage of big boots and sad SAD punches and gets fuck all in return. In my eyes pretty much any casual fan could have seen straight through that main event. (so it got booed to death) It's a shame cos you can tell he tries his damnedest to justify this push and Taker gets his cock out and pisses on him for about 20 minutes under the guise of a match. Give the guy some credit.

I don't hate Brock with a passion like some guys around here (Anglesault) because he's doing his job, doing as he's told, and it isn't his fault he's being the victim of politics and can't get over because he's pretty much been pushed too fast without justification.

 

And in the long run, unless he does some miracle turnaround, like Rocky--who they only put the Intercontinental Title on at least--then he'll likely be washed up and booted out of the company before his 25th birthday. Sad...

 

Of course, his matches suck too...but having good or entertaining matches was never a requirement to be a main eventer in WWE, so doesn't matter now.

yeah, i think his matches have been passable really, i enjoyed the hulk-busting. His matches with rocky and the second one with rvd were fine really. He's had his fair share of shitty opponents. Maybe against jericho, angle, eddy or benoit he'd stand a better chance. I mean, that bump he took against taker, where he fell backwards then rolled out under the middle rope and hit the floor, that was just cool.

You know Trivia I don't know what your problem with people being pissed at Taker is. It wouldn't be so bad if this were the first instance. But Taker has never given ANYBODY except Austin,HHH, and Rock and inch. And he barely gives them(except Austin) anything. The guy is selfish. It's not just Brock. I don't really feel sorry for the guy because he got handed the moon and the stars already. I couldn't see his reign with the belt being anything worthwhile. Just because Rock will give him the job in no way means that anyone else would. If Austin didn't want to job, you think Taker or HHH would too? Brock's reign and credibility don't stand a chance with Taker and HHH running shit. You all could have seen this coming, those two will be on top until they retire. Just because Hogan came back and did right 10 years too late doesn't mean Taker or HHH will start looking like Ric Flair out there.

If you look at it another way, its hard to be feel sorry for Brock. He is given the free ride not seen since Goldberg. He rolled in Trashing the Hardys, then RVD, then Ric Flair, Hogan, Rock in that order PPV wise. Finally get to Undertaker, and he doesn't want to lay down for him. Half the people here complaining about Undertaker, a month before Complained Brock got the World title. So Now someone didn't go along with Brock's Monster Goldberg-esque Push. And It was the Undertaker. I was wondering, if it was Kurt Angle, or Chris Benoit, would they be condemned as well for being selfish. Or, because its the "Usual Suspects" Smark darling ***** Makers, it would be fine, and it would be Brock who probably get bashed to Lowering the quality of the match. However, it wasn't the favorites...it was the Undertaker.. so The band started to play in the ridicule insults and condemn Undertaker for protecting his spot.

 

Im not trying to be a Pain in the ass about it, but after the 5th 6th 10th hell 20th condemnation, it seemed only fair to give some Back. AT least Im not saying Undertaker Rules or Undertaker is Cool, and go into fricken Catch phrases. Im making the best, Albeit Frustrated intelligent Dissenting Opinion.

 

In the end this will Lead too another PPV match, And it will be a gimmicky match, Maybe Cage, maybe Chain, obviously nothing Dark side.. But Brock will beat him clean, to satisfy the masses. Also this gives more time for Angle to Finally either turn face long enough to Take on Brock, or at least get him up to the point to take on Brock. Perhaps later down the line they will make a Number one contenders match for Survivor series, either on Smackdown or at No mercy. And will be with Chris Benoit, Angle and whomever else should be raised up from the Smackdown Roster.

then they take on and Defeat Brock.

Umm.....nobodies jumping on the bandwagon. I know that pretty much everybody has hated Taker since his shit he pulled during the Invasion. Everything just died down once he won the title b/c it didn't seem so bad. He was facing other old man and if he faced anybody new they weren't anybody good anyways(Hardy, Orton, etc.). And then the Taker hate started to pick up at the triple threat match at Vengeance when Taker wouldn't even job his title....yeah then we realized he hasn't changed a bit.

But how much backstage power, or even if you want to say everything is speculation, how much access to backstage power do they have in comparison? The difference being now between people is that Brock is the champion; he's not the challenger or a mid-carder anymore. It wasn't just that Brock didn't get the pin; it was that Taker sand-bagged, refused to sell, that there were three ref bumps and two false finishes while the ref was out, a Matt Hardy run-in that proved to be pointless for no reason, and Taker beating him up post-match. You've got to think that someone overdid it there, don't you?

 

I actually agree with you on the third paragraph now. But with how screwy their last match was, getting Taker to lay down clean will be quite a feat.
