How would losing to Brock hurt Taker in any way? How easily can he be built back up despite what anyone wants? Brock oj the other hand is just getting into his big push. Taker not allowing him to go over not only hurts Brock's career, but everyone Brock stepped over along the way. If Brock can't beat Taker but can squash everyone else on the card to holy hell then it just makes anyone up against Taker look like a bitch. Feuding with Taker won't be anyone's shining moment or career maker, it'll be their demise. That's ridiculous.
