Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 It appears that Randy Orton suffered some sort of shoulder injury this past Monday on RAW. He will be having an MRI done to see exactly what's wrong. Credit: 1westling.com
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Storm & Christian will be blamed. I understand why the WWF hates Storm, but why Christian? Isn't he a WWF product, like Edge?
Guest Mattdotcom Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Oh, my God...if he is injured, they should play it up with rehab videos, countdowns, videos, etc. "Randy Orton- He May Be Injured, but HE IS UNSTOPPABLE!" OR Shoulder-cast gimmick!
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 I hope he's come down with a bad case of I'mbeingsenttoOVWitis. AKA "Big Show Disease".
Guest razazteca Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 maybe next week Hurricane can have a match on Raw how did Ortan get hurt? was it the finish of the Christian match?
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 He wrestled not 1, but 2 matches. He is truly an iron man.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 what's with all the Orton bashing? Hey, if he gets a shoulder cast he could wear it months and months after he heals and start doing the shoulderblock of doom~!
Guest razazteca Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 shoulderblock of doom~! just like Luger's loaded forearm
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 "Storm & Christian will be blamed. I understand why the WWF hates Storm, but why Christian? Isn't he a WWF product, like Edge? " Christian and Edge are forever linked in WWE fans minds. If Christian does well...it doesn't reflect as well on Edge as Christian doing poorly. They are trying to force fans to buy Edge as HBK, and are treating Christian like Jannetty. I've accepted it. Everything will be sacraficed to Edge eventually.
Guest Trivia247 Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 oh yea dem Damn UnAmericans, How dare those non hair cutting Great wrestling Bastards Somehow Convince the Bookers to Force Randy to wrestle twice just to make that 3rd 3rd Generation Wrestler look anything other than a Prelim wrestler who is Duller than watching Tile flooring Curl. It must be all their fault... BY Gawg its that and Monday night Football's fault!
Guest Brian Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Bps, until everything is sacrificed for Nash and HHH.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Well...of course. I really am fearing Nash' return next year. He's going to win the title, isn't he?
Guest Brian Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Doesn't he still have to beat five guys up with the big boot? He has business to handle the first.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Who were the 5 guys? hmmm... Bubba, Spike, Booker, Goldust and RVD... nope...none of THOSE guys will be champion ever. Is RVD to blame though? He was on the ramp with Brock.
Guest Brian Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 But, Nash still needs to beat them all up with the big boot before pinning Booker T. That has to be his first program.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 Poor Booker. He's black AND he had the unfortune of lying on the ground when Nash couldn't WALK OVER HIM without pulling something. It's all Booker's fault.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 2, 2002 Report Posted October 2, 2002 My theory remains that it s Benoit's fault. Kliq members only tear quads when he's in the match. And if you turn the volume up REAL loud and listen REAL close...you can hear a barely audible voice say "vanilla midget this you no talent piece of shit"

Also, may I reiterite WHY IN THE FUCK would Storm be blamed since he's complied to everything WWE wanted him to and he already had his hair short. Probably Christian gets the blame, though. Still, maybe Orton has a good reason to fuck up the finish, though. To repeat? No. But fucking it up, yes. Going back--no HHH injury yet. Let Kane reinjure his bicep. Then they HAVE to put RVD in the match again, to win this time. Right? RIGHT?!?!
Guest Lord of The Curry Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Orton probably did it while fucking up his first attempt at the O-Zone/Overdrive on Christian...he went down after he slipped and it look like his shoulder may have taken the brunt of it. If he does get injured, I expect the King and somebody else to take over commentary, while JR keeps a constant vigil at Randys bedside. The vignettes would be priceless.
Guest TheHulkster Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Watching the match again, it does look like Christian wasn't cooperating with Orton. Thats just unprofessional. If that had anything to do with Orton's injury, he should be punished.
Guest Prototype450 Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Good ole Randy could wear a shoulder cast for 5 years and be like his old man Bob. That would be classic.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 My theory remains that it s Benoit's fault. Kliq members only tear quads when he's in the match. Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Benoit: Kevin, LOOK OUT FOR BOOKER! Booker: What the... Nash: AHHHHHHHHHHH MY QUAD! Benoit: Kevin, are you alright? Nash: It is all your fault you piece of shit! *Benoit kicks Nash in the back of the leg* Benoit: What did you say? BITCH?
Guest midnight_burn Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Orton's injured? You mean we won't get to see the 3rd generation blue chipper with as much personality as Bull Buchannon get pushed to the moon while JR masturbates vigorously over him every Raw? Oh woe is me.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 I remember when Nash went Ow! Smarkzone was trying to blame it on Booker. That was funny.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 So is next week- RAW IS ORTON?? JR: This is real life- his shoulder injury was as real it gets I tell ya bah gawd. They'll ring the bell ten times and all the wrestlers will pay tribute- 8.4 guaranteed
Guest NoCalMike Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Hey Bob, I swear I was just about to say that, about the 10-bell salute. JR starts off Raw all miserable, "Ladies and Gentleman, a great tragedy has occured, Randy Orton has hurt his shoulder, I am so sorry for the fans out there, so we will have to settle for RVD vs. Storm, go ahead and turn on MNF, I wouldn't blame ya, oh just remember to turn it back in time to see Triple H go on about his match with Kane to close the last 20 minutes of tonight's broadcast, god bless and god speed Mr. Orton!"
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Watching the match again, it does look like Christian wasn't cooperating with Orton. Thats just unprofessional. If that had anything to do with Orton's injury, he should be punished. I haven't re-watched the match, but upon first viewing, I thought Christian turned and went down when he was supposed to. But Randy couldn't keep balanced, and ended up tripping over himself and Christian.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 How did Smarkzone try and blame the Nash quad tear on Booker? (This should be interesting....) I just saw an interview where Sean Waltman pinned the blame on agent Michael Hayes. That would have held water if Nash hadn't been booked to LOOK THE BEST out of all 10 in the match, and got injured WALKING. I wonder if Christian botching the spot will quell the "he's SO much better than Edge" argument for awhile. I know that if Edge had botched a spot of that magnitude people here would have chewed him out big time.
