Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Actually, Edge has been on fire since the split. He's really good right now by my estimation. I'm no longer bored by him, and the push seems to be paying dividends since he has yet to drop the ball once handed it as Smackdown's future #1 face whenever Undertaker heads off to take care of his kid, assuming he does. That said, Orton really does bore me. I try and give these rookies a chance, but only Bautista and Lesnar have given me any reason to care so far. Oh yeah, the Island Boys too. Cena and Orton and Benjamin have just been thrown out as the plucky rookie so much that I really don't see why I should care, especially when they don't do anything that spectacular outside of Orton's frogbodypress and Benjamin's spiffy ring attire(and SWANK~! music). I don't like seeing anyone injured(except for cases where it's funny like Nash), but I'm glad that it happened before too much airtime and an actual feud was invested in the guy. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest converge241 Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 "He's (nash) going to win the title, isn't he? " maybe as Diesel no less smell the merchandise on those black gloves
Guest oldschoolwrestling Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Randy Orton's shoulder injury is expected to keep him out of in-ring action for a couple of weeks. Credit: 1wrestling.com
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Oh no, a couple of weeks what will the WWE do. Maybe put someone on TV that people actually want to see. Nah, they will just give HHH more segments.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 worse, more Orton segments.
Guest Youre Gonna Learn Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Man. I still can't get over that finish in the Christan/Orton match. .... Hahaha.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 They'll probably make a 'Beautiful Day' video for Orton, with the finish of his match with Christian shown in black and white with a focus on his shoulder as if we're supposed to notice something there.
Guest bob_barron Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Mulatto- SZ basically said Booker should've moved out of the way or something idiotic. SZ was famous for his hatred of Booker T.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 I..... I cannot even come up with a decent response to that. I mean, I believe it since fanboy logic = no logic at all, but my God... how was Booker supposed to know that if Nash stumbled over him that his leg would tear to shreds?
Guest The Czech Republic Posted October 3, 2002 Report Posted October 3, 2002 Didn't I always say "they'll push Orton hard and then he'll injure himself and that'll be the end of that experiment." Look it up, it's been said.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted October 4, 2002 Report Posted October 4, 2002 I wonder what the WWE had planned with Orton, and if it could wait a few weeks. Those were some SERIOUS verbal blow-jobs, and putting him over two guys in a row meant they were planning on making him into some powerhouse or something, so... what now?
