Guest Angle-plex Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 WWE RAW finished with a 3.9 rating and a 5.8 share this week off hours of 3.8 and 3.9. That number is up from a 3.8 last week. Credit: 1wrestling.com IT WENT UP?! WTF!?
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Just wait until next week...
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Just wait until next week... Why?! By then WWE will have figured out that Triple H = Ratings.
Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Maybe more idiots actually thought Kane the raping necro actually killed someone. Never underestimate the power of idiots
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 I want to end my life.
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Sometimes a show is so bad that you have to keep watching just to see how bad it could get. Or SEMEN=RATINGS
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Maybe... Maybe people watched to see RVD in the main event. Afterall...people walked out when HHH tried to wrestle other people...so maybe people really want to see RVD beat him. Of course...even if this were the case they blew that last night too... I want to end my life.
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 I guess we can look foward to more murder angles and Triple H then, right?
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 I don't want to live in a world where the RAW rating for that show went up.
Guest Angle-plex Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Does this mean a high No Mercy buy rate too? Am I living in a bizzaro world, where bad is good and good is bad?
Guest Anglesault Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 ::Hides his "We Want Necrophilia" sign:: Stupid marks.
Guest Anglesault Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Ca anyone else picture Hunter buying like 200 TV's and tuning them all into Raw just to bump the rating up a bit?
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Next week on RAW: murderers, rapists, necrophiliacs, murdering necrophiliac rapists, raping necrophiliac murderers, serial-killers, lone gunmen, multiple gunmen, cannibals, vegetarians, dwarf-fuckers, dwarf-tossers, tossing dwarves, two-headed mutants, jaywalkers, shit-eaters... with a special appearance by Howard Stern. It's a great time to be a fan of, well, all of the above, I guess.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 ::Hides his "We Want Necrophilia" sign:: Stupid marks. that sign would rule. I wish someone would use it. Or a "Kane Killed The Radio Star". BTW, RAW rating went DOWN as the show goes on. So no matter how high it is, people were turning off as the show went on. So Kane raping a dead person doesn't draw. Plus, people wanted to see how they can make an angle of killing someone worthwhile. I guess they failed big time.
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Guys, TV ratings are only 1/3 of the equation. There's still the issue of No Mercy's poor ticket sales, and how many are going to buy the PPV.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Good god no. No no no. I was afraid of this. Please, end the pain. There has to be some way. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest jester Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 The crowd was absolutely dead during the *cough* acting though. I don't think this is going to change. A few more crowds like that, I think they'll get the message.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 The crowd cared more about chanting that Bret was screwed than any match.
Guest GameCop Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 What can I say? Believe it or not, Katie Vick = ratings. Kane, the murderer = ratings. Do you know what wrestling fans consist of? High School drop outs and hicks. Most of them are stupid. Most of them probably think that the "Katie Vick" storyline is the best they've ever seen. Most of them were probably in tears when Kane gave that poignant speech. If wrestling fans were smart, (not in the "smark" sense) WWE would be forced to devise decent storylines. That, however, will never be the case because the average wrestling fan has an IQ of 10. Let's pray that Paul Heyman becomes more influential in the coming weeks...
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 This is WWE, they do things despite the crowd, not because of them. Especially deliciously cynical crowds. I wish I was Canadian.
Guest papacita Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 WWE RAW finished with a 3.9 rating and a 5.8 share this week off hours of 3.8 and 3.9. That number is up from a 3.8 last week. Credit: 1wrestling.com IT WENT UP?! WTF!? I'm crying inside right now... I feel so bloated.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 I don't think a 0.1 spike in the ratings is anything to worry about... Maybe next Monday they'll confront Jeff about his obvious drug use...and maybe they'll run an angle where Tommy Dreamer cheated on Beullah back in the ECW days and gave Dawn Marie herpies... Since wrestling is dead and sports entertainment is where the ratings are
Guest Mulatto Heat Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Most of them probably think that the "Katie Vick" storyline is the best they've ever seen. Most of them were probably in tears when Kane gave that poignant speech. I'd believe it if the live crowds haven't (from what I hear) regurgitated this storyline. If wrestling fans were smart, (not in the "smark" sense) WWE would be forced to devise decent storylines. Smarks have been asking for decent storylines for months. Don't even try and say that there's a difference. Let's pray that Paul Heyman becomes more influential in the coming weeks... If that isn't a smarkish statement I don't know what is.
Guest Midnight Express83 Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 lets start a new chant for Kane, "Murders, Raping, and Necophilia, OH MY!"
Guest razazteca Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 and the rating will continue to go up as history shows that the Raw after PPVs usually spikes the rating. Ponder about that scary thought Rikishi Clones killing non/retired wrestlers = ratings
Guest Super Pissed Smark Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 Let's face it though, the football game wasn't a compelling match-up and probably posted low numbers. If the Denver-Miami "slobberknocker" had been last night instead of Sunday things might look a lot different in the ratings.
Guest D'Lo White Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 This is 2 weeks in a row the rating went up. What has the last 2 shows have that one's before didn't. D'LO BROWN I knew it
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted October 16, 2002 Report Posted October 16, 2002 I credit Johnny Stamboli's run in w/ the rest of the faces in the ME. Johnny the Bull = RATINGS~!
