My guide to who should and who will win the fake

I think you need to factor Steiner into the equation.

If Booker T walks away with the title, Steiner can come in to claim he's the real champ and the pair of them can go at it for a month with Scott taking the belt at the PPV.

This leaves HHH and HBK free to do their thing at the same PPV.

Which then paves the way for HHH/Steiner over the title.

Alternatively, if they wanted to go with HHH/Steiner at Wrestlemania, they could stick Booker in a title feud with Y2J for a month and stretch Booker/Steiner over two months. HHH and HBK can rumble on in the background, possibly moving RVD in and out of that particular mix as required.

The only problem with giving RVD the title, and you touched on it yourself, is that there's nowhere for him to go with it. Having had his legs cut off, he's stuck at the arse end of the card with no direction and no obvious feuds on the horizon.

Booker T makes the most sense to me, though I fully understand the "anti-logic" that would see RVD win the title as Survivor Series.

Good article, personally I think that RVD will win the title too. You are dead on right about the Winter champ tryout. That is also why I think that RVD will get the title, but the big question is who will he fued with over it?

lol @ "Newsflash: Brock Lesnar won't be losing to Big Show at Survivor Series." .. anybody reading this should know this or be shot.

I could see HBK or Kane eliminating HGH and later him returning to cause them to lose to RVD in a spite-interference-cheat win.

Since he has no commitments following the match...you could argue that the Steiner factor could be in his favor.

Great artical man. You really seem to have totally thought this through and included into that the wacky ways of WWE Logic. Looks like RVD will win the "fake" championship come Survivor Series.

Steiner/RVD ?

I don't see it myself but stranger things have happened.

Either way, assuming there's a title change, Y2J will probably be first title defence for the new baby face champ.

The more I think about it, the more appeal Booker T/Y2J into Booker T/ Steiner into Steiner/HHH has for me.

I would love to see RVD finally winning a world title but he has to pin HGH cleanly, no HBKS running in with a freakin' sledgehammer. After he becomes the champ for RAW have him feud with Steiner or let the WWE booking do the unthinkable( like always )by having HBK turn on RVD , and let them feud for the belt.

Nah, HHH is still goin ta be champ. It's like the Armageddon 6 man HIAC where Angle still came out with the belt. I also call a HBK turn.

Yeah that would only be the 43 rd HBK turn Since he returned.

Really, I can see anyone but Jericho walking out with the belt and it making sense. I think of the other 5, Kane is the weakest pick, so I wouldn't bet on him winning it either.

My thoughts exactly, except I'd add in Michaels as a weaker pick than Kane. He could win and forfeit the title, though, or just work tag matches until he drops it in a month.

Bps, I'll read your article soon. I promise.

- And this doesn't fall in line with the Wwf's screwie logic?

I'm with Rudo on this one.....too many faces going into that match for HHH to retain, which makes sense.

The fans are totally buying the HBK hatred towards HHH, so to WWE that means " Time to screw the fans and turn the guy who's getting over."

All the while killing RVD and Booker T in the process.

Michaels turning here is such a retarded move on so many levels it isn't funny. First off, Michaels has a hurt back..thus making him not credible as a heel. I mean, a guy with a bad back is a tailor made sympathetic face.

I made this almost same exact deduction as BPS aside from some minor differences:

1. Kane should be gone first, since his push flopped and he will get buried after this, likely to end up jobbing to Batista. He also has the least stamina. Pedigree for him.

2. Jericho has promised to eliminate Booker by hook or crook and I think he will do so to give him just a BIT of credibility. This leads to said Booker/Jericho feud where Booker goes over at the next PPV.

3. I'm unsure of this, it could go two ways. You can have Jericho pinned next by RVD, or you can save Jericho and have Shawn eliminated next. Shawn's ego will demand that he stay in the match a long while, but Jericho and HHH doing a beatdown on RVD makes more plausible sense. I'm gonna go with HHH nailing Shawn with the sledgehammer or something crooked to send HBK packing.....but not for long.

4. RVD gets beat down by HHH/Jericho till they screw up and RVD rolls up Jericho for a pin.

5. HHH beats the hell out of a weakened RVD and then RVD makes a comeback, triggering the Flair run in.....but then Shawn comes out and chases Flair, superkick for HHH, 5 star, RVD wins and everyone goes home happy. This way it makes everyone look fairly good: RVD didn't win via a lame sledgehammer shot on HHH, and HHH still looks good since it wasn't entirely clean.

I do agree with BPS though, this is the match where RVD should win. He's the only guy who hasn't won a world title in this match, so he deserves it. And he is the only guy not bogged down in some kind of lame feud.

I've been watching for 4 years straight now, never skipping a Raw that looked bad, never missing period unless I was away or grounded and couldn't watch TV, and even then I'd watch, but turn the TV off just before someone came in. I haven't boycotted, haven't stopped watching, only recently have I quit watching when the main came on. But I swear, if HHH wins at Survivor series, the only thing, the ONLY thing that could get me to watch that show is a nice big Raven push, but from the looks of things, that won't happen, and even if it did, I still might give up on it.

You're assuming that the WWF will 1.) acknowledge the title reigns of a rival promotion and 2.) remember their history.

Bad smark! Bad smark! :P

well, Book IS the 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time, 5 time WCW champ, ya know...

Points for Turning Shawn heel at SS.

-He and HHH are notorious for 'screwing' people at Survivor Series.

-He and HHH are notorious for 'buddying up' and 'showing their true colours' at MSG.

-You don't think HBK and HHH have wanted to team up with Ric Flair before?

-No Way Out 03 is in Montreal. You don't think Vince Mcmahon sees something in a HBK heel turn for that?

-As Curry noted, too many faces in the match, HHH doesn't have a chance on paper - of course, HHH won't lose so they need a way to have him win.

-It's HHH vs. HBK - has this feud EVER made sense?

I just want to add...

my theory does include Jericho eliminating Book like he says he will.

He won't be the one pinning him...but he will interfere leading to his elimination.

Rudo...you make valid logical pionts...

...but this is the WWE...and for the HELP WANTED sign on the front door....Logic need not apply...

Guest RavishingRickRudo

That's in there too rando. They just had Michaels turn face a couple of months ago, HHH crippled him, logic dictates that Michaels should not team up with him...

Guest The Amazing Rando

didn't Jericho and HHH team up last night?

didn't Austin and HHH team up last year?

WWE logic dictates crippled wrestler should team up with crippler...

in Jericho's case...only his career was crippled...

Guest RavishingRickRudo

YES - that is WWF logic! Which goes totally against conventional logic. The illogical is logical.

Guest The Amazing Rando

WWE logic will also see Droz and D'Lo defeating a 17 year old and New Jack for the tag team titles at Wrestlemania...

... I can't wait.

Wait... Doesn't that mean they have to raise the dead?

Makes sense.

Guest The Amazing Rando

they can raise the dead...they are the WWE...

...they know what we want...

So they WILL bring back Sunny and Sable as 'Crack-Whores Inc.' and they will corrupt the young divas and rookie kids??
