Guest The Amazing Rando Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Sunny and Sable? do you forget about the awesomeness of Missy Hyatt? she has CRACK-titude!
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 But she wasn't WWF. She could be the crack whore in a cloak behind the scenes.
Guest The Amazing Rando Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 she could be the crack NINJA ... like Tori but with crack...
Guest RavishingRickRudo Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Yes - the Droz to their Hawk. Sort of a psychosexual pusher/pimp/prostitute hybrid.
Guest deadbeater Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 You know, I think we can tell if HHH will win it if all the other wrestlers dog it Buff Bagwell style.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 This year, Brock Lesnar won the real world title How in the hell is this belt any more legit? He hardly ever defends it, it was supposed to be an "undisputed" belt, and it's not going anywhere either. AND, in case you didn't notice, on it's premiere show, it was handed to HHH like a gift. I say the Brock belt is just as legit as the Raw belt.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 It's more legit because 1. He actually won it. 2. It has a lineage that goes back farther than "The day HHH decided the IC title wasn't good enough"
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Whaaa? Flair sucked up and gave him a belt and he cut a promo. Remove Flair, enter Bischoff, it's the same thing. And seeing that they used videos of Vader and Sting and whatnot at Unforgiven, plus JR pulling a Schiavone and selling it as 102 years old at No Mercy, means they are keeping the WCW/NWA legacy in official canon.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 The WCW title only goes back to 1992
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 I don't know what kind of wierd mind control you are all under, but from where I sit, the only person walking out of Survivor Series with the "fake" title is HHH. You can say that Booker T and RVD should win the title til you're blue in the face, but the fact is HHH is the only one that WILL win. Its guaranteed.. It is nice to see how the WWE has managed to pique people's interest in the RAW title match though..although its ashame they can't have 6 man matches under some strange new stipulations every month..
Guest Sakura Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 When did HHH say the IC Title isn't good enough for him?
Guest Ram Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Instead of making a new world title, they were just going to use the IC title as the main RAW championship. Triple H felt it was below him or something.
Guest Brian Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Triple H was supposed to win the title and hold it as the headlining title for RAW. Instead, he got his own belt made and unified it. The Observer, Figure Four, and Torch all reported it like the next week.
Guest cabbageboy Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 I actually do agree that using the IC as the main title on Raw is a pretty boneheaded thing to do. Then again, having the undisputed champion defect to only ONE show might be even dumber. HHH winning here is an insanely horrible idea. We're talking "alienate half of our fanbase" kind of idea here. If HHH does in fact win what exactly can he possibly do from here? Especially if this Michaels heel turn, which makes no remote sense, actually happens. This is not another 6 pack challenge situation folks. In that match you had a HHH who wasn't really over or established as a main eventer, had just jobbed to VINCE, and desperately needed credibility. So they let him win a match with 6 guys, but he just had to pin 1 guy for the fall. The Armageddon HIAC 6 way was a similar situation. Angle was a new heel champ with zero credibility, so he wins that to gain some. Also he had to pin one man, who again ended up being the Rock (he jobs to anyone). This match is a different beast. It is elimination style, so it's not just "HHH pins Jericho to end the match." HHH is also well established as a main eventer at this point and it sucking ass as champion. So there's no excuse like he needs the cred or something. Let's say HHH does win here and Michaels turns heel and joins HHH and Flair. Where can you possibly go with this? There isn't a single contender on Raw with any credibility and Steiner really isn't the answer either since we don't know if he'll 1. get over, 2. stay healthy, or 3. be capable of playing a face against a heel HHH.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Why not jst call it the WCW Title? They own the name, and it would add a LOT of Legitamacy to the title. Okay, not a lot, but more than it has now.
Guest cabbageboy Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 Correct. The #1 problem with the bogus belts on Raw is that well, they are bogus. We know that SMDN's titles are the WWE World and Tag championships. So what the hell are Raw's titles? They are just called "the world title, or world tag titles." It's lame....what company do they represent? They aren't a new company because it is still just WWE, so frankly I can't understand how two divisions of one promotion can have their own champs. If Raw simply became WCW (and it is in everything but name only), it would make a lot of sense. It's like they want to do the split, but don't want to DO the split for real....since calling Raw WCW would piss everyone off. You have to wonder though. If they thought calling Raw WCW would flop, why did they think separating the rosters would work at all to begin with?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 You know, I almost like the Smackdown Tag Titles (FAKE) better than the WWE Tag Titles (REAL)..the matches have been much better for the Smackdown titles then the RAW titles over the last month, even if its bacially been the same couple of teams vying for them on both shows..
Guest converge241 Posted November 7, 2002 Report Posted November 7, 2002 "If Booker T walks away with the title, Steiner can come in to claim he's the real champ and the pair of them can go at it for a month with Scott taking the belt at the PPV." its a nice idea because Book beat Steiner on that last Nitro, so it would make sense and provide some logical serendipity which means of course they will NEVER do it
