Guest BoboBrazil Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 HHH was rushed to the hospital by ambulance after the show to a local trauma center for observation for a larnyx problem. He was injured on the spot where Rob Van Dam gave him the frog splash off the top of one of the chambers. It is believed that Van Dam's shinbone went across HHH's throat, and he was having difficulty breathing and talking after the show. There was concern he had a crushed larnyx at the time, but that is not confirmed as of yet. On the Brock Lesnar front, he's been removed from house shows this coming weekend and that's as far as anything official is going. At this point, he is scheduled to appear at Tuesday's television taping and the most likely scenario is to do a rematch with Big Show at Armageddon. He'll be given a lighter schedule as opposed to taking time off. wrestlingobserver.com I wonder how long this will keep HHH out for if any time at all. What the fuck was the point of Big Show going over if Lesnar wasn't going to miss any tv dates?
Guest the pinjockey Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 You have to be fucking kidding me. The plan all along was for a Show-Lesnar rematch as opposed to changing because of the injury. Wow, I am starting to worry a little that Heyman wants on screen a little too much.

He has been infected with McMahon disease and given his tendencies we know it must have been Vince giving the ummm "injection"...
Guest Brian Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Fuck, Heyman was supposed to be against turning though. He would have still gotten a ton of time if that hadn't happened.
Guest the pinjockey Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 But now he is going to be the focal point of the angle now as opposed to taking a lesser role as Brock was starting to get more and more comfortable on his own it seemed.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Maybe this will keep HHH from talking out during production meetings. ... ... ... RVD is fucked isn't he?
Guest jester Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Fuck. RVD is so buried now. Next stop: laying down for Albert.
Guest snowfan Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Maybe this will keep HHH from talking out during production meetings. ... ... ... RVD is fucked isn't he? the HGH Brand Glass ceiling Dry Erase Board of Booking Helldom.....
Guest Nater Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I guess not doing any houseshows, working small matches with a busted rib, and just eating TV time between PPV's can be considered "Busting a Hogan"
Guest snowfan Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I guess not doing any houseshows, working small matches with a busted rib, and just eating TV time between PPV's can be considered "Busting a Hogan" Yup.... "Let's see Brack lost the belt to injury, and they put the other belt on a guy who is ONE good back bump from a wheel chair...." that sums it up well
Guest evilhomer Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 RVD is fucked isn't he? I could seriously see RVD being sent down to OVW to tone down his perfomance to more of a "WWE Style". Next month, a new RVD with 20 extra pounds of muscle sloooowly plods around the ring demonstrating his new high impact knee offence.
Guest buffybeast Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 The ceiling wasn't high enough for Rob to properly execute his frog splash. It looked pretty shitty. I hope the company sees that and doesn't punish Rob.
Guest Caliban Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I think HHH was too close to the corner as well.
Guest snowfan Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I think HHH was too close to the corner as well. it is really neat that we HHHaters are asked to believe he has no stroke while the same guys asserting that admit RVD is at huge risk for a depush/....
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 "The ceiling wasn't high enough for Rob to properly execute his frog splash." heeheehee. It's all true
Guest Frankie Williams Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Hey, do you think that WWE will show HHH in therapy trying to learn how to talk again like they did with Ricky Steamboat??
Guest snowfan Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Hey, do you think that WWE will show HHH in therapy trying to learn how to talk again like they did with Ricky Steamboat?? and have different celebrity voices.... I'd mark if they made Crips sound like Gilbert Gottfried...
Guest notJames Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 "The ceiling wasn't high enough for Rob to properly execute his frog splash." heeheehee. It's all true I was thinking the same exact thing. The truth comes out in mysterious ways. (And I'm not talking about Killings, either...)
Guest humongous2002 Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 RVD is fucked big time, kiss those world championship hopes good bye Robbie because you'll be jobbing to the Brooklyn Brawler from now on. Too bad you are not 7ft tall and weight 500 lbs of shit or you are not an olympic champion(when Kurt moonsaulted on Hardcore Holly and broke his arm by mistake), nice knowing you RVD, you made every smarks dreams come true when you almost killed that Cripple fuck.
Guest buffybeast Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Why can't we smarks be more optimistic about RVD's outlook in the WWE? Let's show some positivity! Maybe Trips and Vince will see that last night's accident was just that, an accident. Maybe they will decide to push RVD a little after seeing his good performance. Or maybe they will trade him to SD where he can really shine. All right, I don't believe any of that. But we can still try to be more positive.
Guest The Mighty Damaramu Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Hopefully HHH can never speak again.....oh god I would cry with tears of joy. Like I said....it's Jesus Van Dam! He sacrificed himself so all may be better for us! JVD! JVD! JVD!
Guest BoboBrazil Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 I don't know why you all act like RVD is going to get buried now. He already has no direction and he was the first one eliminated last night in the match. It isn't like he can get much lower. I guess he could be like Booker T and job in almost every match, but that is about it.
Guest fazzle Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 He already has no direction and he was the first one eliminated last night in the match. It isn't like he can get much lower. Yeah, I mean, it's SO totally not possible to go lower than the main event! Oh, wait, those other matches that aren't the main event, they're lower, right?
Guest BoboBrazil Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 He was only in the main event, because they needed 6 guys from Raw. Who else could have been in there besides him that was a face? He had no buildup going into the match and was just an afterthought. He usually is in the opener of Raw in a pointless match.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 i have a dream, a dream of hhh coming out to cut his 20-minute promo, and having nothing but a faint duck-like quack emerging, as a tiny tear rolls down his manly cheek.
Guest buffybeast Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Too bad they depushed Bubba. He would have made an excellent entrant in last night's match.
Guest Quik Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Y'know, I admit I've been an RVD fan. But even I'm starting to see that he is a risk to those he wrestles. Even though the person he murdered was Crips, a crushed larynx is a pretty bad ass fucking injury to give someone. I mean, it even pales when compared to the blunder that is Big Slow cracking Brock's ribs.
Guest Choken One Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 Yeah...Van Dam better pray to all the gods that Heyman can convince Vince to keep him employed...Or he'll go on a Jet Li/Segal/Norris/Van Damme/ Dolff Langdron B movie tour.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted November 18, 2002 Report Posted November 18, 2002 yup. as much as i love rvd too, the sad fact is there's no way in hell he's ever going to get a sustained push when he consistently injures the other talent. people can complain about politics all they want, but if he can't work he can't work. the number of times he's hurt people is not coincidence, it's simply not being able to work safely.
