Goldberg should debut on Raw and challenge Stone Cold to a match at WrestleMania. The WrestleMania 19 card will look like this: Rock vs. Brock -WWE Title HHH vs. Booker T - World Heavyweight Title Austin vs. Goldberg Jericho vs. Michaels RVD vs. Kane Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros vs. Benoit/Rhyno - S.D. Tag Titles Regal/Storm vs. Dudleys - Raw Tag Titles Matt Hardy vs. Mysterio - CW Title Trish vs. Victoria vs. Jazz vs. Jackie - Women's Title

According to Melter, Angle reaggravated his 1995 neck injury. In either case, Angle experienced pain and NUMBNESS in his neck and limbs before and after his match(es) in South Africa.

Benoit can easily turn heel if he has to, but Austin/Brock is just asking for trouble. The last thing you want at Wrestlemania is the next big thing being booed as you put the title on him.

Then, we can have a tournament at Mania with the likes of Benoit, Brock, Rhyno, Show (so we'll have enough people), Taker, Eddie and so on. Or better yet, Cena v Brock. Have Cena destroy everyone for the next 3 weeks with the WWE marketing machine behind him and he could pose as a threat to Brock.
Guest papacita Posted March 3, 2003 Report Posted March 3, 2003 I think Brock Vs Benoit would be the best replacement, because it capitalizes on the heat Benoit gained at the Royal Rumble, and doesn't shake up the WM card too much, as Los Guerrerros could easily take the tag title spot. Of course, Benoit would have to go over Brock though...

Even with Angle there, they systematically drained every last penny that feud could have made. Austin/Rock has been done 83 times, Jericho/HBK isn't capturing anyone's interest, HHH/Booker? What the hell are they riding on, Hogan/Vince? Scrapping Rock vs. Austin now wouldn't be a good ideal. Besides you know Vince sees it as his WM big money match and isn't going to screw it up. Beniot vs. Brock is the best backup plan if Angle can't go.
