Guest Quik Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Yeah, who does it? Better yet: if anyone knows of a guitar tab for it, could you gimme a link? Thanks.
Guest bravesfan Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Big Mother Thruster is the name of the band. The song title is "Tattoo", which you can easily find on Kazaa or other preferred P2P programs.
Adam Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 I don't mind the song. I've downloaded it and listened to it heaps of times.
Guest bort Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 i thought the bands name was hoshal, but then i couldnt find any other songs by them, its the best song since the old dx and x pac songs
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Yeah I always thought the band was called Hoshal too.
Guest JRE Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 It's listed as Hosal- WWF Maven Theme a lot....but the real band name is Big Mother Thruster, and the song is called Tattoo...as bravesfan said.

Guest BrokenWings Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 Yeah.. Kazaa Lite is doing an extended search as I type this and has yet to find anything.
Guest SethforPrez840 Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 just search for "Maven theme" on Kazaa and it comes up.
Guest Steviekick Posted July 20, 2003 Report Posted July 20, 2003 I love Maven's theme. It's great. Finger Eleven's "Slow Chemical" (Kane's current) is also really good too.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 I think it is a horrible song, but the opening is good. It goes REALLY downhill from there, IMO, and I wish they would do like they do with many superstar's themes and base a new theme on it and change it up to make it better.
Guest Big Poppa Popick Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 parka, ive got the song if you want to hit me on aim
Guest JHawk Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 I thought it was called "Beyond the Stars". Amazing what you learn on these forums.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 parka, ive got the song if you want to hit me on aim Oh I have the song already. I was just searching this "Big Mother Thruster" thing out of curiosity. And "Beyond the Stars" sounds more like the right name because he actually says that in the song. "Tattoo" doesn't fit the song at all.
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Well the song is "Around the Stars" by Hoshal. I just found the Guitar Tabs here
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Dammit, when BMT had a site, they were quoted as saying on the news page that it was their song being used. And that's what I'm going with. Though you have to look closer at the lyrics, 'Tattoo' also makes sense. Not every song is named after it's chorus...
LaParkaYourCar Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Well.......crap. I wonder what's caused all this mess? You'd think if they said it on their website there wouldn't be any confusion.
Guest AndrewisyourHero Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 According to Amazon.com, it's "Dogtooth Violet" by Big Mother Thruster
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 My guess is Hoshal is the name of the guy who leaked or uploaded it to the net. And when creating the ID3 tag, he placed his own name onto the track, rather than the band (if you've ever downloaded a track from cyclone2k.com, they do the same thing). Then he titled it "Around the Stars" because it was convenient. Eventually, this error gained steam and took on a life of it's own. Then when BMT posted on their site, it was too late.
Guest saturnmark4life Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Whilst the song is fucking dreadful, I will have to admit a slight weakness for that opening riff.
Guest caboose Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 The song isn't that bad, but the opening is definately the best part.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted July 21, 2003 Report Posted July 21, 2003 Don't care the the lyrics. But the music is pretty good
