''Jason Takes PWG'' in Two Days in Hollywood, CA!

By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer

Sleepy Valley, CA - In less than 48 hours, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's (http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) next huge live event will be taking place in Hollywood, CA, and you, the responsible wrestling fan, should have already made plans to attend. However, if you have not made plans already, it could be that you're superstitious, and fearful of leaving the house on Friday the 13th. However, think of all the calamity that could befall you if you stay at home, such as a brutal axe murdering, or the microwave popcorn bag exploding and scalding your face, causing you to step backwards, slipping on an unfortunately placed banana peal, causing you to hit your head on the marble slab counter top, killing you instantly, then leaving your body to decompose for days until your landlord finds your corpse on the kitchen floor, your final attire being that ugly green bathrobe, the Hanes with the torn waistband, and your Donald Duck slippers. Contrast that with what could happen if you attended "Jason Takes PWG" on Friday night: You could witness the single greatest night of wrestling ever in the history of ever. I don't know about you, but I'll be in Hollywood on Friday night, to see:

The most convoluted stipulation for a match ever, as the Aerial Express, Ballard Bro., Los Luchas, and Hook Bomberry & Top Gun Talwar meet to determine the number one contender for the PWG Tag Team Titles. But not in a simple Elimination Match, that would be too easy. No, the match is Elimination, but in two falls! The winners of the first fall move on to the Number 1 Contenders match next month, and the losers of the first fall are eliminated. Then the same rules apply for the second fall, and the winners of the two falls will meet next month in the ULTIMATE Number 1 Contenders match. Sound confusing? It is! But someone within PWG thought it'd be a good idea!

Also scheduled for "Jason Takes PWG" is:

• El Generico vs. Human Tornado

• Submission Match: Puma vs. Ricky Reyes

• "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen vs. Sexxxy Eddy

• PWG Tag Team Title Match: Arrogance (Chris Bosh & Scott Lost) vs. SBS (Disco Machine & Excalibur)

• PWG Championship vs. TNA X-Division Title: AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels

Plus, Super Dragon issues an open challenge to the impostor Super Dragon 2 in order to settle things once and for all!

Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's "Jason Takes PWG!" takes place at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC on Friday, May 13, 2005 at 8:00PM. The Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC is located at 1110 Bates Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90029. Tickets are only $15, and will be available at the door. "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen vs. Sexxxy Eddy

Again? I'm not saying the match'll be bad (on the contrary), but these two have wrestled each other damn near everywhere. Wouldn't it have been better to book them against other people?

Unless there's a storyline I'm missing out on, in which case do enlighten me.

It's the first time it's happening in SoCal, it's nothing old to many of the fans out here and it'll help Eddy get a chance to show what he has with someone he knows best to help prove himself out here.
