A few months he was Undisputed Champ, but now he is losing to Hardcore Holly across the country while struggling to beat Faarooq and MArk Henry on tv. Meanwhile HHH is on his way to another ppv main event while it looks liek Jericho won't even be on the card, unless he is in the tournament. By now the tournament should be below him and he should be on the upper card. If he wins the tournament then maybe it will be worth something, but we know that won't happen.

By now the tournament should be below him and he should be on the upper card. Bret Hart won the King of the Ring tournament AFTER his first World Title reign. It's not like it hasn't been done before.

If KOTR is so great why isn't Austin, HHH, or Hogan gunning for it? The hometown argument for Holly doesn't hold water either, because 1. This happened in 3 states and maybe one town was close to his (None of the shows were in Alabama). 2. Hardcore had already wrestled once on each show beating Test so if anything there was his hometown win there (in three states, none of which were his).

But he hasn't been handled properly, and if the WWE wants to save Jericho's credibility, a win in the KotR tournament would help. I see nothing wrong with that; it was good enough for Bret. As for Jericho jobbing to Holly, I really don't care. House shows don't mean shit. I'm far more concerned about him not being able to get a clean win over Mark Henry on Smackdown than what happens at house show. Bret and Angle both entered KOTR after winning WWF Title. Second, jobs like this at House Shows are not uncommon. Remember that Angle jobbed to Val Venis a few months back, and nothing came of it. At House Shows (unless the heel is a champion, and thus has to retain) the face almost always wins. Especially, if it is his hometown. Hell, I've seen Triple H (2000) job clean at house shows.

Is it me or is this hometown/home state/home country stuff seem more and more frequent? Just recently we've seen Lawler dominate Raven in........his hometown. Bradshaw won the hardcore title........in his home state. Trish won the women's title in Toronto. Not to mention all the stuff they do for J.R when they're in Oklahoma. Enough already! If anyting, faces should LOSE in their hometown on occasion to give their opponents some major heel heat........that is if the hometown crowd acually cares about the wrestler in question, i.e Bob Holly.

That seems like a good deal to me. When you combine the house show losses, the recent tainted wins over Faarooq and Mark Henry, and being made to look like HHH's serving wench on every occasion, Jericho is going nowhere but down. He might be in KOTR, but he won't win the tournament, if he's not in the tournament will he even be on the card? This would be the 2nd ppv since main eventing 'Mania that he hasn't even been on.
