Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Poor Jericho. I could Dig a Face Angle again!
Guest raptor Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I've heard nothing but good about Jon Cena. I can't wait to see him against Angle.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 As long as it's a one match deal and Angle squashes him, Angle vs. Cena could be cool.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Angle celebrates beating the sport's biggest icon by challenging anyone who's never wrestled before. ? and apparently, Edge is still Hogan's little buddy. But if Jericho is now in an "EDGE FUED", what's Hogan doing? and if Angle's turning on Taker, what's Rock doing? besides bothering us, I mean. sounded funnier in my head. ah well.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Well, The Edge feud will just be used to bury Jericho until his contract is up. Rock might go back to making movies, after a SPECIAL~! Brock/Rock cross brand match. Hogan could fight newly heel turned HHH.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 newly heel turned HHH. heh heh...heh. that's funny. by the way 'Sault, I'm guessing you're looking foward to the Test/Kishi feud as much as I am...?
Guest HHHHHHater#uno Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 no that HHHHHH should be held off TV forever with a gun to his head for even thinking of holding down Angle, Jericho, Edge, Hogan, Hardy, Austin, Holly, Test, My Mom, Your Mom, My Great Aunt Jenna, Funaki, Tajiri, Booker, Micheals, Nash, McMahon, Muto, Henry, Cena, Orton and the whole state of New Jersey. Damn that intense glass ceiling bastard.
Guest massivHEDtrauma Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 That show sounds alright. Cannot wait to see Cena. I'm glad they're giving Jericho to Edge instead of Hogan. That program should kick ass. Hogan, I laugh at him loudly. HAHAHAHAHAH!!! No program for you!!! Seriously though, why not turn Taker face as opposed to Angle? Taker can't get over as a heel anyways. Let's just have Angle go over him with RUTHLESS AGGRESSION~! so that Angle gets even more over and Taker gets what he's been getting all along, a face reaction.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 newly heel turned HHH. heh heh...heh. that's funny. by the way 'Sault, I'm guessing you're looking foward to the Test/Kishi feud as much as I am...? It looks more like a Rikishi/Team Canada feud. How sad is it that Kurt Angle is RIGHT there, but they'd rather have a dancing fat guy defend America's honor? Not that I'm complaining about Angle being in a world title feud, of course.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 He's one of my guilty pleasures. I've always hoped he could return to 2000 form. But I'm not calling for them to push him
Guest Human Fly Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I wish they would build a ppv match between Hogan and Jericho. I'd love to see Jericho get a win over Hogan. Now we're going to see Edge get a win over Jericho.
Guest Smell the ratings!!! Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 It looks more like a Rikishi/Team Canada feud. oh holy god. thanks for the nightmares, fucker. Rikishi isn't even American! I swear this shit writes itself sometimes. ***BUT*** could it be our prayers have been answered and Lance, um, "politely passed" on letting Test in this little team? Find out this Thursday at 8 PM Eastern! Check your local cable provider for listings!
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 A Kurt Angle vs. Team Canada fued would be pretty nice. And didn't they just give away the winner of the hardy/UT match by having Angle challenge him?
Guest HHHHHHater#uno Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 umm as far I know Rikishi is Hawiian and as of now I think Hawaii is part of America but ya never know these days.
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 That would be the best. Test: So can i join Team Canada? Christian: Well, uhm... OH MY GOD, a giant cockroach! ::Test turns and Christian and Storm run away::
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 umm as far I know Rikishi is Hawiian and as of now I think Hawaii is part of America but ya never know these days. He's Samoan. He actually lives in San Francisco
Guest HHHHHHater#uno Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 but anyway the show looks good, and it looks like the WWF SD! show I think is a lot better then Raw right now
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 I would laugh if they actually did that, every week having test try to be in Team canada Test: Okay guys, I know you have a tag match coming up, so how about I help you out? Christian & Lance: "Uh okay...you go hide in the boiler room right, and when we give the signal, you come down and kcik ass, iat? Test: Yes! Okay!*heads to the boiler room* Christian: ....dumbass... i dont know...i aint funny, but it could be it could be
Guest Anglesault Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 It could be VERY funny. Hell, it could get Test over!
Guest RickyChosyu Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 These days it's hard to get excited about a new prospect, since they all wrestle the same borring style, have the same "tanning oil overdose" look, and are generally carbon coppies of each other. That said, if he can go, it's something new for TV, so I'll wait until I see the match to pass judgement. As for the rest of the show, Jericho's depush continues and Angle is being shoe-horned into another ill-fated face turn, what's not to love? I don't see the good here.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Maybe Angle vs Undertaker vs Rock will happen at Fully Loaded or whatever it's called this year.
Guest I Fear Hogans Air Guitair Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 ive heard heaps about this Cena guy but have never actually seen him Wrestle cant wait for smackdown (Never thought ide say that). Damn the Jericho Depush.
Guest Sakura Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Wait, how is the Jericho depush continuing? I thought cheating to beat Faarooq meant he was buried? Now he is fighting Hogan and losing to DQ instead of actually being pinned because of Edge. If you ask me, being protected from a lose from Hogan and fueding with an upper mid carder is pretty good for someone who was buried.
Guest RickyChosyu Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Wait, how is the Jericho depush continuing? I thought cheating to beat Faarooq meant he was buried? Now he is fighting Hogan and losing to DQ instead of actually being pinned because of Edge. If you ask me, being protected from a lose from Hogan and fueding with an upper mid carder is pretty good for someone who was buried. The depush is that after devaluating him so much (essentially rebuilding the glass cieling above him) Jericho is now 100% Jobber To The Stars, and is basically being used for the sole purpose of putting over new workers. First RVD, and soon Edge. Now, I almost prefer this, considering how much Jericho was shit upon in the main event, but it's still a little disheartening. I mean, not to rant, but look at the push Lesnar gets with NO HEAT at all, and look at what they did with Jericho (who had TONS of heat as champion, before the depush) and it's quite apparent how two-faced all the WWE management is. How they pull shit like this and then claim that "Jericho needs to pay his dues" is beyond me. Apparently, I need to lace up my boots and get in the ring before I can truly understand business decisions like that, sez Fiero.
Guest Perfect Plex Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Its the same as how Angle is supposedly being buried and held down, yet on a Sunday he cleanly beats the biggest name in the biz and on Tuesday he not only beats a promising new talent in his debut match, but goes on to challenge the WWE Champ for the following week. Damn that HHH.
Guest Incandenza Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 ::crosses fingers:: We could be only one week away from a Kurt Angle title win. ::realizes they'll probably wait till the PPV for that to happen, so that the surprise won't be ruined:: Oh well, I can wait. Incidentally, Jericho being protected against jobbing to Hogan is not a sign of a depush. Nor is feuding with Edge, especially since Jericho--as loathe as I am to say it--is nothing more than an upper-midcarder, World Title win and Wrestlemania main event be damned.
Guest Austin3164life Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Well if these spoilers hold true, it's nice to see that Angle is getting the respect he deserves, and I wonder if his match with John Cena is good or not. I like the roll Angle has been on this year. I smell a big push coming up in the middle of the summer for our Olympic Hero. Give him the WWE Championship damnit!!
Guest Black Tiger Posted June 26, 2002 Report Posted June 26, 2002 Don't get excited about Angle winning the title just yet, Undertaker still has to go through JEFF HARDY on Monday night in a LADDER MATCH. The Hardyz always say that they're the masters of it, despite the fact that they've only won two of them in the last three years. Angle needs to be a heel if he wins the title, he already bombed his face run with the title.
