Recently watched movies

The Departed: Martin Scorsese - Rotten Tomatoe Ranking 93% - I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I waited nearly two weeks to rent, since it was out every time I went to the movie store. I'm not a huge Dicaprio fan, but he was pretty fucking brillant in his role, as was Nicholson as the absurdly calm, yet insane mob lord. Matt Damon is eh, as is Wahlberg, regardless of their performances this movie is Highly recommended. The ending is a twist I never thought I'd see coming.   The Prestige: Chri

Employee of the Month

I laughed my ass off watching this movie last night.   It's gotten horrible reviews, and didn't do so well at the box office, regardless of all of that, I throughly enjoyed this movie last night.   Dane Cook is hilarious, a comediac genious. Jessica Simpson is absolutely gorgeous, and plays her part fairly well. Andy Dick is awesome as the legally overly blind co-worker / weird and estranged friend, and Dax Shepherd plays his crazy cashier role to a tee.   Most won't like this flim, how

Wednesday + Thursday = greatness

Indeed.   Wednesday: Valentine's Day. My fiancee got me a red rose, a gorilla w/ boxing gloves (teddy bear), my favorite gum, and a heart shaped baloon. My best Valentine's Day to date. I didn't really get her a present considering the food I bought for us for dinner, I did get her a romantic card though. I cooked two lobster tails, one was a 13 oz, and the other was 9 oz. I also cooked Two pounds of King Crab legs, and shrimp, along with a baby spinach salad. Dinner was amazing, with candles

Zodiac

I am patiently awaiting the release of this movie. The director, Kevin Fincher also made Fight Club and Se7en, two of my top ten favorite movies. The preview alone has guranteed my viewing, let along Fincher directing it.

Stolen from kkk's blog

This is fucking ridiculous to say the least.   Okay, a person died. People die every day. I had to look this up, but per 1,000 people, the death rate is 8.26 daily. Not so bad, eh? But considering the United States population (as of July 2006 est) of 298,444,215 that 8.26 / 1,000 comes out to: a whole lot of fucking people (Math is my subpar subject).   Very quickly, the country known for freedom is going to become a country not known for freedom. What's next? Walking and talking, walking

Selling part of my life away today

As the title states, I sold part of my life today. I've been an avid comic book collector since about the age of 5. I'm faced with hard and pressing times concerning money right now, and I had to find a way to get money very quickly.   It sucks, but I'm a grown man, and I have to make sacrifices to make end's meat. And since I don't have steady employment, selling things is a short term fix while I locate employment.   Just in case you're wondering, here's what I sold:   Incredible Hul

Relationships

I'm very content with my relationship right now. As of February 2nd, 2007, I've been with my girlfriend for eight months. If you count the time we were hanging out, it's closer to eight and a half months. Yeah, not exactly the longest time to be with someone, but it's the longest relationship I've ever been in.   From the start, I knew she was different than the rest. I've been with my share of women, and none of them ever made me feel actually happy, except for her. She is everything I have

Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA 12/2/2006: Review

This is my first review / play-by-play.       "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson vs. KENTA 12/2/06 NOAH - Yokohoma Bunka Gymnasium - 3,800 Fans   Handshake of respect is given. Danielson works over the arm for the beginning of the match, a very lengthy feel out process. Danielson is so good at tearing down body parts, rendering them completely useless. Kenta tries to do some of his own arm work, but Danielson will have none of it using a back bridge and then a dropkick to get Kenta off o

A lot of everything

Hmm...where to start this time.   A little about my current status. I am still fucked up. Most of you aren't familar with what's wrong with me. I suffered a heat stroke last August in a field operation at Camp Lejeune. I had been operating off of no sleep, little food, and piss warm water to drink. It was really hot and humid this particular day, lucky me. I was in full combat load, around 120 pounds of gear on my person, and I was running full throttle for close to three miles. My body could

Interest in wrestling

Since January 3rd, 2005 my wrestling watching has gone from a solid 100% down to 0. I never watch wrestling anymore. Not because I've lost interest, or don't like wrestling anymore. I don't have a VCR player, or a very good television. But, I've been compiling a list of matches and shows I want to get ahold of, mostly older 80's NWA, and old AJPW (pre-split).   NWA from the 80's and 90's AJPW are the greatest periods of wrestling, that I have seen. I'm gonna try and get into Joshi, again. I w

Eh, looks like my tournament dreams are over.....

Yeah, like totally, my brackets are beyond fucked up, it's gotten so ridiculous. I usually do pretty well at this stuff too, heh.   My sweet sixteen, elite eight, final four, and the championship game rounds have been altered, a lot.   Missed the sixteen: UNC - Ohio St. - Kansas - Nevada - Iowa - Illinois   Eliminated from the eight: UNC - Ohio St. - Kansas   Not going to show up for the four: UNC - Ohio St.   Unauthorized absence from the champ game: UNC   Eh, looks like I'm w

Starting things off

I'm certainly not new to TSM, but I am not very well known among the public of TSM either.   Welcome to my blog, if anybody is just so happening to read this, thanks for taking the time to do so, I appreciate it.   On to my first subject, the 2006 NCAA College Basketball Tournament. I didn't enter any competition, or any betting circles, nothing like that. I usually don't. And since I can't really actively watch all that much college basketball, let alone television, I don't see the point
