Remember last week? I told you there was a link to a match or at least pictures about the match between Emi Tohjo Vs Drake Morimatsu...

Well, it seems that the Womans Divisions all across Japan...are not going to stand for it.

Female wrestlers Yumi Ohka & Kei Akiyama made a protest on Saturday against the AV wrestling porn film that Emi Tohjo was involved in a couple of days ago. The girls are upset about the way Tohjo portrayed all women wrestlers with the movie and Ohka hoped that the wrestlers can keep the trust of the fans that they are not "eromono" (ero = erotic, mono = thing or objects).

Daily Sports has the latest on what is turning out to be yet another weird "only in Japan" situation. A few days, we posted links to a wrestling porn movie that Emi Tohjo was involved in. This movie caused an outcry with many female wrestlers in Japan, including wrestlers Yumi Ohka & Kei Yamamiya who are associated with the Jd' promotion. Today, an announcement was made that the Tohjo AV movie would be postponed in terms of distribution. This situation has caused a big firestorm in the wrestling business in Japan.

 

Jd' Star held a press conference on Tuesday demanding that the Emi Tohjo wrestling porn video be not released. The company said that the production company that made the porn video severely damaged the image of women's pro-wrestling in Japan and also damaged Jd's image as a company. A hot legal battle is coming.

Its seems before they go to TNA- they will head to All Japan:

The Josh Barnett Issue is getting very hot and heated:

There are Internet leaks tonight on the major Japanese wrestling message boards regarding what Gong's major story is going to be this week. I will comment once I see the magazine and how the story was played out... Based on the leaks so far, I'm wondering if the truth is being stretched out in order to sell more copies, but we'll see tomorrow. Supposedly, Fujita & Kawada are the two guys on the cover of Gong this week for the G-1 coverage.

 

Samurai TV's Gong preview show tonight discussed the main story, which I can now say is a shoot interview that Josh Barnett did with the publication. The magazine really pushed it heavy tonight (Tuesday night in Japan), with the theme of the Barnett interview being "I was cheated by New Japan." Kanazawa (Gong writer/editor) discussed how Barnett was cancelled with no notice from the G-1 tournament and talked about Josh's anger towards Kawada. New Japan has a real PR (public relations) nightmare on their hands now. More on this later today and what the Barnett interview means for the business.
