And I went to bed at half-time. Imagine my surprise when I learned of the final score the next morning.

That little bit before halftime was just part of it. There was also the earlier "block in the back" on Jason Whitten that shouldn't have been called, one offensive pass interference call on Owens that shouldn't have been made, failure to call horse collar tackles on Chicago not once but TWICE, and a couple of defensive pass interference calls on the Bears that they should have made since they called T.O. for the same shit earlier.

 

None of those transgressions affected the outcome of the game in the long run. But still. There ought to be some sort of punishment for the officials, other than a stern "You guys messed up; do better next time!" from the league.

Oh I remember that "block in the back." I forgave that one because maybe it looked like a block in the back in real-time. However, that half-time fiasco was embarrassing.
