...I thought Bill Hicks was the funniest man who ever lived.

 

I listen to him now, and I don't think "Bill Hicks sure is funny!" I instead think "Wow, that stoner sure sounds angry." In short, the magic has kinda disappeared.

 

Also, there seems to be a strange phenomenon with douchebags quoting Bill Hicks.

I was a big fan of Hicks when I was in high school and even then I realized what a blowhard he was. I get in the Bill Hicks mood every now and then, but it doesn't last very long.

I think I'd like the guy more if his fans weren't such tools. Also, it annoys me to death when people call him "a philosopher." Um, no he wasn't. I won't deny he was funny, but come on, he was a guy who did a lot of drugs that hated Republicans.
