Guest Flyboy Report post Posted April 3, 2004 Other Helpful Links (Prospects sorted by POSITION) (Prospects sorted by SCHOOL) (Prospects sorted by TEAM) (Prospects sorted by PLAYER) Actually, I would use the player prospects provided at NFL.com since you don't have to be an Insider to read information on a certain player. Those can be found here.

Guest Flyboy Report post Posted April 4, 2004 With the second pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Oakland Raiders select... Ben Roethlisberger - Quarterback - Miami University The Oakland Raiders select Roethlisberger to start the rebuilding phase of the team. With Rich Gannon aging, and no quarterback of the future the select the second best signal caller of the draft. His physical tools, accuracy, quick release, his mobility.. Roethlisberger has it all to be a great NFL quarterback. Having targets such as Tim Brown, Jerry Rice, and an upcoming Jerry Porter, Roethlisberger will certainly have his targets to throw to. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2004 After seconds of pondering Dancing Denny Green walks to the podium The Arizona Cardnials select WR-Larry Fitzgerald, Jr. -Pittsburgh Adding Fitzgerald to an already young and talented receiving corps of Anquan Bolden, and Bryan Johnson will help the Cardnials and Josh McCowan. the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2004 Predictable first three picks. The only debatable one is the Raiders passing up on Gallery and Fitz. But there are plenty of quality WRs in this draft and they need someone to take over for Gannon next year. G-Men on the clock.
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted April 4, 2004 Could we get this pinned, please?
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2004 It's interesting, looking at the last few years in the NFL. Is a franchise QB really that important? The Ravens won the SB with Trent Dilfer, the Bucs with Brad Johnson, and the Panthers got there with Jake Delhomme. Tom Brady is a good QB, but he was drafted in the 6th round. It seems like you might as well forget about the flashy QB and try and get several guys that can contribute. I hope San Diego trades down for an extra pick, as Brees is at least as good as Dilfer or Delhomme.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted April 4, 2004 Well, it took the Dilfer having an all time defense to get there. Same with Brad Johnson, and lets not forget that in the second half of that season he played like a franchise caliber QB. Carolina was in the right place, at the right time, in a shitty conference where an excellent D-line and a solid running game was all you needed. Also, I am sure you could look at every position like that. Why should San Diego draft a WR when the Pats haven't had an elite one? Why draft Gallery when the Tampa Bay line was nothing special in their year?
Guest Flyboy Report post Posted April 4, 2004 Why draft Gallery when the Tampa Bay line was nothing special in their year? I don't know about that.. they played EXCELLENT that season in their Super Bowl run. No one was elite, but they played great as a unit.
