To clarify, Brooklynn Zoo contacted me and told me to make five selections. If anything, ya'll had a headstart compared to myself. So shursh.

With Punk-Misterio starting, this would be the best time.

To make him earn a title match. They should be doing more stuff like that.

Wrestlers who you did not want to see succeed

I'm not mean-spirited enough to want for anybody to fail, but I sure was relieved when I found out that I wouldn't have to watch another Bobby Lashley match ever again... or at least for the foreseeable future. WWE really wanted me to care about this fucking dude a lot without even giving me a single reason to in the first place. -
There's an episode of Barney Miller where they all eat pot brownies.

Was wrestling popular at your school?
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! replied to Hadley's topic in General Wrestling
I was in high school during the height of the Monday Night Wars, so there were a great many NWO and Austin 3:16 t-shirts floating around my school. It's definitely not something that everybody was into, but, judging by how many crappy Rock impersonations I was subjected to, there were quite a few fans at my school. Elementary and Junior High, on the other hand- not so much. -

Is she going for the elf look? I wish that I were a D&D nerd so that I could be even more turned on than I already am.

You have room for one more at the end?

Jobs w/ Highest Amount of Douchebags

Any trendy food service establishment that is just a step above fast food. Za's would have to be the worst. And, yes, Game Stop and all other gamer stores are packed with douchebag employees. -
I think that "pictures that I find amusing/noteworthy" would be more appropriate.

Look close.

I've gotta go with SummerSlam '91. This is a true feel-good show with the babyfaces going over strong in all of the important matches. I seriously detested The Mountie when I was a kid, so the Big Bossman sending him to jail was the most awesome thing ever. The heat for the DiBiase-Virgil match was just tremendous, and Piper was in top form on commentary for this one.I have already stated before that Hart-Hennig for the IC Title is probably my favorite match of all time. LOD putting the Natural Disasters in their place en route to defeating the Nasties for the Tag Team belts was pretty sweet too. Add that to three of my favorite faces at the time winning the opener, and Hogan/Warrior teaming up, and, yeah, really fun show. I didn't even mind that it closed with an angle instead of a match.

Does anybody remember the Steiners vs. Fire & Ice feud from 1996? They wanted to save the decisive finish for their pay-per-view blowoff, so every week they were pitted against each other in bad matches that went to a countout or DQ. And by the second week you knew the outcome of the match before the bell even rang, so it was impossible to even care about what was happening in the ring. Jim Duggan vs. V.K. Wallstreet was another WCW program from that time that never ceased to suck. It seemed like that company felt that we couldn't get enough of that feud, because it was on every other telecast.
-
I couldn't stand the on-again-off-again Piper-Hogan program that went on in WCW. It always gave us lousy matches to end otherwise exceptional PPV cards. And don't even get me started on their disastrous cage match at Halloween Havoc. Yeah, no love for that one.

I agreed. Though she was good at the comedic thing.
