  1. Damn. Is it just me, or have the past two and a half years or so been the absolute woorrrrrrst for this company from a health standpoint? Why, since the wellness policy was first instituted, have muscle tears and other injuries been so much more abundant? It makes no sense to me.
  2. Any fucking day now, sweetheart.
  3. I think it's a zig for great justice that you caught up with somebody who fled the scene of an accident.
  4. I remember that very well. It went from "He has new music!" to "Hey, the fucking Anvil is back and this is awesome!" Aw, middle school... And, yes, Diesel was a total badass in 1994. I loved him, even during my markdom, and bought him as main event material.
  5. Is this the same falling fistdrop that Ted Sr. used to do? I want that, and the (missed) falling back elbow drop off of the second rope k thx.
  6. Sorry. I've been watching a lot of late-nineties WCW of late.
  7. For my next selection, I am going to go with a charismatic heel. I had been entertaining the idea of swooping this guy up, but yesterday, after watching the face off shoot he did with Raven, I am definitely pumped to get this one. Ladies and gentlemen, the 204th draft selection. The Gamesmaster himself, Kevin Sullivan! And, yes, I am going to go with the psychotic, Florida-era Sullivan.
  8. Both Jeff Hardy and William Regal before they fucked it up for themselves. I was seriously excited about both of them, but now I don't really know.
  9. If you draft them separately then you can do both.
  10. Makeup picks: Drury37 (2 selections) Garth (1 selection) Steviekick (1 selection)
  11. Selecting on behalf of The Franchise: Former NWA Heavyweight Champion... The Monster.... ABYSS!
  12. The 8-hour window has passed. Selecting, once again, on behalf of Hawk34: With this next selection, I present to you James "Noble" Gibson Also left to make up selections: Drury37 (2 selections) Garth (1 selection) Brooklyn Zoo (2 selections)
  13. The Rockers vs. The Orient Express Royal Rumble 1991 Miami, FL January 19, 1991 I have a very special place in my heart for this tag team contest. Why, might you ask? Because it's the first wrestling match that I ever saw. A lot of people cannot remember this kind of stuff, but I do, with strong clarity. The high flying, the heelish double teaming by Kato and Tanaka, the hot tag... Any other match I might not be a fan today.
  14. Posting on behalf of Hawk34: (my note: I still prefer him as "The Cruncher")
  15. The 8-hour window is in full effect, so it's time to post on behalf of The Franchise. The 191st selection in our draft is... The Japanese Buzzsaw... Yoshihiro Tajiri!
  16. On behalf of bps21: The crown jewel of Jersey All-Pro Wrestling... the reason to tune into the X-Division... JAY LETHAL!
  17. I completely understand. The shit weather here in the Hoosier State knocked my power out for a little while last weekend (though I am way more fortunate than many others in this area). Glad things are looking up.
  18. I came close to having both. They were two of the three front runners, but perhaps I jumped the gun on Molly Holly. I had no clue if anybody else was interested in her or not, but I really wanted her.
  19. Mr. Perfect vs. The Blue Blazer WrestleMania V Atlantic City, NJ April 5, 1989 I love this match. Everytime I want to remember why I never grew out of wrestling, I can put this in and it all comes back. Booked as an undercard showcase to continue Hennig's WWF winning streak, these two really stole the show.
  20. Sorry about that. Nobody sent me a PM.
  21. That's pretty much the best mental image ever. I feel better now.
  22. She's no Kristal.
  23. I remember him from WCW more than ECW since I could only hear about ECW stuff. Didn't Vader scout him out? I recall freaking the hell out the first time I saw the 450 when I was like 12 or something on a Clash of the Champions. Yes, when he wrestled his entire debut without his name being announced. Made for a very interesting debut. Scorp had me at 450. I'd never seen anything like it before, and he earned a fan for life that night. Vader did indeed help him get his start. I believe that Leon put in a good word for him to train in the NJPW Dojo. That must have been fun.
  24. Is this the one Torrie is dating? No. That is Spirit Squad member Mitch (Nick Mitchell). Mikey was the smallest of the bunch and I believe begged into the Spirit Squad when Elijah Burke asked to be excluded. That's probably the best thing that could have happened to Elijah.
