  1. Edge has gone through two divorces, and is currently single... ladies...
  2. Boy, I'm surprised that I even had a shot at my next selection. I most certainly though that they were going to go this round. Ladies and gentlemen, the former All Japan All Asia and ECW Tag Team Champions... Doug Furnas & Phil LaFon* The CanAm Express! * I never liked the name Dan Kroffat.
  3. I'm a Red Wings fan, but that's pretty cheap. This game should have gone into overtime. Well, if we are going by that, the last game shouldn't have gone to OT off of Kronwall's cheapie. I was speaking in reference to actually bragging about the goal. But I still enjoyed the entire series.
  4. He's close with Booker, and making appearances for his PWA organization. And TNA would cater to his wants. It would be more of a shock to me if he did not end up in TNA. He's the kind of guy that they would usually beg to sign.
  5. I'm a Red Wings fan, but that's pretty cheap. This game should have gone into overtime.
  6. For my fifth-round selection... IWGP Tag Team Championship Match The Steiners vs. Kensuke Sasaki & Hiroshi Hase. NJPW/WCW Starrcade, March 21 1991, Tokyo, Japan * no picture available * You know you've seen it. Some of you might have found it on youtube, but a lot of you probably rented the Turner Home Video version of the original WCW New Japan Supershow, titled "Rumble in the Rising Sun," with a lot of hype surrounding the main event, and a long-awaited rematch that I won't name. But it was this match that tore the house down, cementing the legacy of Rick and Scott Steiner as one of the most exciting tag teams of all time. One of my favorite tag team matches ever.
  7. I don't want to watch any of those things. When is Michael Hayes coming back?
  8. *grits teeth* Congratulations.
  9. There's tons of Sydal stuff on youtube (and likely dailymotion). He's worked for Dragon Gate, ROH, TNA, IWA-MS and everywhere in between.
  10. Best part (or most insane part) being the Original Sheik taking an Asai Moonsault even though he had just undergone double-bypass surgery a week or so before.
  11. I thought that I was the only one who thought that.
  12. Don't get me wrong, they're still awesome performers no matter what they're doing. I'm just gonna take my Brooklyn Zoo-shaped doll and stab it a few times for stealing Dangerous K. I type that with much love, of course.
  13. I'm still sort of surprised that Kawada, Taue and Jumbo are going to be reduced to tag team endeavors.
  14. He was going to go this round...
  15. Everybody walk the dinosaur. Now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all night, thanks. Everybody kill the dinosaur.
  16. Pillman is part of that match, which is really part match/part angle. I like '95 but I definitely consider it to be a guilty pleasure, as it's not that great. I actually saw this last October, when I was, well, in the mood to watch some Halloween Havoc cards. I'm a big mark for the early days of Nitro, which is probably the only reason I even like this show.
  17. God damn that's a brilliant pick.
  18. Everybody walk the dinosaur.
  19. Man. Hunter should never try to be funny again. Ever. He's really bad at it.
  20. Nice. Just tuned in to see Matt Sydal as an enhancement guy. Well, it's still cool to see him I guess.
  21. And now, my fourth-round selection... Rob Van Dam vs. Hardcore Holly ECW on Sci Fi September 26, 2006 Tulsa, OK God damn I love this match. Everything about it. Hardcore Holly putting up an amazing effort in spite of the sickening laceration on his back is still one of my favorite things in the decent first four or five months of the ECW revival. Some of the best TV that WWE gave me that year.
  22. Muggy and shitty and all kinds of rain here in Central Indiana. Tornadoes touching down and shit. It's a party.
  23. I understand now.
  24. Well, I could base my opinion on irrefutable facts (Jeff Hardy has violated the wellness policy twice in less than a year, is in risk of losing his job if he has one more violation, and has already been, at one time, released from the company as a result of his drug abuse) or mere assumptions (HHH, Batista and John Cena are pretty big, so that proves that they are taking illegal drugs). Sorry, got to go with the facts on this one. Why do you keep dragging everybody except for the one guy that I suggested into this? Even if everybody else is on some shit, how does it make pushing Jeff Hardy, who, by reputation, could be gone at any second, in a leading role a good idea? Because you made to much sense. Way to elaborate.
