Plus those 3 TWA graduates are all solid wrestlers (Well, Cade is solid, London and Kenrick are excellent), so they should have great chemistry in the ring together. And when the fourth-wheel is Trevor fucking Murdoch, these could be the best pure tag matches in years.

The guys one of the most professional of any of the upper card stars. Seriously there's only one person that's less likely to have left than Cena, and that's HHH.

WWE General Discussion - September 2007

Right now the only entertaining outcome would be someone they brought in. I'd go nuts if it was Jericho or Sid. -
If I was ever a commentator, I would just mention the fight/flight/freeze principle. You may see the move coming and dodge, you may see the move coming and counter it, or you may just stand there like a deer in the headlights and take it. It's all just a natural reaction to danger.

Has anyone ever been pinned by the figure-4 leglock?
-
Ah, so it seems my theory about Batista and Cena could be right, in that they've been making the big bucks for about 3 years now, and know how to go about things in the best way.
-
Ratings on RAW would probably increase if they put on the ladder match dvd for 2 weeks then the 4 horsemen matches the next 2.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch

Aren't they signed as independent contractors so they themselves are liable for any fuckups (As in Sandman's pending ringside assualt case, or these steroid busts)? Plus it has the added benefit of the WWE not giving them any benefits. From reading the spoilers and various spectators comments, it seems to be one of the stiffest matches in ROH ever. So it's not like there is that level of sheer abuse in the ring every match (I wonder if it was booked that way to make Morishima look more menacing. I've heard numerous times that's he's the modern day Terry Gordy, but apart from the lariats and backdrop drivers nothing in his arsenal looks that nasty). -
Anyone know if RAW is being taped as well, or is it just the Tuesday night guys off abroad?

There is no doubt in my mind that Batista and Cena are on roids. And I reckon they may have thought about how to get them a bit more carefully than the likes of Orton and Kennedy (Especially Dave, with him being friends with both Flair and Hunter, he may have got some "advice" on the best way to get them).

Here's not what I expect, but a card I would want that's not totally impossible. WWE Championship: HBK © vs MVP Easy enough to get the belt on HBK by March, and have MVP win the rumble. Simple storyline, MVP's had enough with HBK being the "showstopper" when MVP is the most talented man on the roster. MVP wins. World Heavyweight Title: Edge © vs Undertaker Wasn't going to go for this, but winning the belt on two WM's in a row worked for Austin, and Undertaker is over enough for it to work for him. Tag-team Title Unification ladder match: Londrick (Raw champs) vs WGTT (SD Champs) vs Hardys Shift WGTT to Smackdown complaining that they've been getting a bad deal on Raw, then have them get the straps. Unification of the belts is a good idea due to the lack of solid teams, and add the Hardys into the mix because Hardys + PPV + Ladders = Huge Draw. Have Londrick win to get them really over and solidfy them as this generation's top team. Intercontinental Title Match: King Booker © vs Cody Rhodes Good way to build up Cody, and Booker is the best guy on Raw to help him do it. Final Flair Match: HHH vs. Flair Have this be like Inoki vs Vader on his retirement tour, with HHH just fucking up the old man but with Flair inexplicably survivng and kicking out. Figure-4 tap out for Flair's win and a crazy pop. ECW title match: CM Punk © vs Finlay The clean, technical match of the night. Lots of good solid chain wrestling with some nice stiffness thrown in. Finlay would be a respectable ECW champ, and it could set up an awesome Punk heel turn. Loser leaves ECW hardcore match: Tommy Dreamer vs Elijah Burke Put Dreamer on a major PPV, in a hardcore match, and buy him the rights to Man in the Box for a night, and he'll deliver. Just have Dreamer bump like a nutcase, and then sneak a win over Elijah to send him to Smackdown where he'll probably be better suited (Especially with MVP on Raw). Cruiserweight Title Match: Jimmy Wang Yang © vs Funaki Funaki accuses Yang of betraying his roots. Fun 5 minute matchup. Yang wins. Yeah, that'll do. Batista will no doubt have a muscle tear, Cena will be making Marine 2, and I don't know what to do with Kennedy, Carlito or Umaga.

Hopefully the end of the Stevie/Thorne feud will have Stevie on top and in line for a title run.
-
I'd actually want to see that (yes, I know, again). Punk's matches now generally have a big pop at the start, a 15 sec CM Punk chant, then the crowd generally stays pretty silent through the rest of it. Stevie's last match with him actually got the crowd to care about what was going on, which shows just how good a worker Stevie Richards is.
-
Because CM Punk's and Randy Orton's styles would clash, and I just have a feeling the Morrison vs Michaels wouldn't work.
-
That 3rd pic shows how well she's matured compared to others in the business.
-
The best cage match in ROH history? I've only seen one, but this would have to be pretty good to top Jacobs vs Whitmer.

A 2nd women's belt? One is bad enough given the talent they have. -

I'd actually go with a Styles-JBL team, as I personally prefer Styles to Ross, and I reckon he'd be ample material for JBL. -
Unrelated to his gimmick, but do you think the reason he does the corkscrew moonsault off the middle rope is to avoid breaking WWE's top-rope moves rule?

Awwwww shit. If anyone was to get signed from ROH, I would have thought it would have been Hero, McGuinness and Castagnoli, in that order of likeliness. -
Wrestlers You'd Like to See Return to WWE?
mysterious_w replied to zappafrank's topic in The WWE Folder
Kurt Angle I can't watch TNA, I just can't. There's too many things I don't like about it, the announcers, the ring, the studio, the booking. Which means that I miss one of my favourite wrestlers in Angle. The fact is, he was in a lot of the best WWE matches of the decade, and the guy was also in a lot of the funniest skits as well. Maybe it's best if he didn't come back, as the travel schedule may fuck him up again, and at least I can download his matches with Joe and the stuff he does in Japan, but still, it would be good to have him back. -

Good thing that D'Lo might be getting resigned, but Sydal? He looks small in ROH, I mean he's billed at 5' 9" but looks 5' 7" or so. I think he's an excellent wrestler with a bag of charisma, but the fact he's so small may really stifle him. Breaking up Ross and Lawler is ridiculous, that would be like taking Alan Hansen off Match of the Day. Plus I don't think Lawler would want to work in ECW. -
I hope that Stevie attack will set up a match at Summerslam (WWE normally announce at least one match late-on on the website so it's possible), although when I was watching the Thorne promo I called a Stevie Kick instead of those lame forearms.

There is no way Booker will kick out of a Pedigree, so the question is how much offense he gets in before Triple H lands one.
