Why the hell is Takayama not in the GHC league. I've been wanting him to have a title shot ever since watching the Bison Smith match. On the other guys: Takeshi Rikio: Not seen enough of, but the Muso or whatever isn't that impressive for a finisher. Mohammed Yone: Solid, but not great, and definitely not main-event level Naomichi Marufuji: Jobbed to Murakami, and although he's the most technically sound in NOAH, runs low on charisma Akitoshi Saito: Some people seem to like him, but I think he's a big fat turd Masao Inoue: Shit. Block B Jun Akiyama: Has had some excellent 5-star matches in his time, wouldn't mind seeing him with the belt Takeshi Morishima: Already jobbed to Misawa recently, probably second favourite of the group Tamon Honda: Like his comedy-style matches, but again not main-event level Takashi Sugiura: Freaking awesome, but has been pinned a few times recently. He should be the winner of this group though Go Shiosaki: Needs a little more development, but not much. Give him a couple of shots in '08.

ECW has consistently for the past month been the best WWE show. Not only that, but it's actually been a very fun show to watch (fucking hell RAW was bad last night).

I saw what must have been WCW Nitro in a hotel in Spain in I think 1997, all I remember of it was Lex Luger and the Torture Rack finisher. Getting into it proper started in 1998 when I got cable and could watch the WWF syndicated shows. Livewire and Shotgun on a Saturday and Superstars on a Sunday, with the 1st PPV I remebred being promoted was Breakdown In Your House. Even though I'd only seen maybe 20 minutes of the stuff on holiday, it had gripped me so much that I was desperate for it when I finally got cable.

Ah, I'm looking forward to Triple H as long as D-X is over. Maybe it's because I missed a lot of 2003-2005, and that my first PPV was the one that effectively made him (RR 2000), but I've always though he was fairly good.

Size shouldn't be a big issue. Only match I saw of his Heat run was against Goldust and he didn't look like he'd be out of place on the main roster size wise. The only thing that'd worry me is the character. Unless they let Cabana be Cabana, ie. entertaining european style worker, then it won't be the same. Judging from the mic-time they've given Punk in his ECW career, I'm not holding out much hope. The good thing is a lot of Cobana's fun stuff is done in the ring. The comment I meant about size is that being big definitely helps, the smaller you are the stronger gimmick you need to have.

Harry Smith. I hope Colt Cobana too, but even though he has bags of charisma, his size may stop him from making an immediate impact.
