    Vince mad at low ratings

There's plenty of other guys who could be brought in to book the shows a lot better. What about Tommy Dreamer? He was doing most of the booking for ECW in late 2000, and the product was pretty good wasn't it?

    John Kronus found dead

The fact he could do a better 450 splash that a lot of crusierweights was fairly special. Been watching a lot of ECW lately, and the Eliminators ruled. Sad to see him go.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

Get Cody, Cobana and Harry Smith up straight away for sure, but Rodimer? The guy has no talent at all.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

Instead of shitty battle royals they could have had a 8-man tournament for the title. 1st round on SD, then semi's and final at GAB. If it took the place of the Batista and Kane matches it would only be one more match on the card.

    Is David Arquette considered recent?

    Vince mad at low ratings

Yeah Hayes does Smackdown I'm sure, which won the ratings overall for the 2nd hour last week.

Yeah well a staredown is hardly a RAW main event is it, especially when you need to hard-sell this PPV coming up. They should have had a 6-man tag, say Cena/Lashley/Hardy vs Umaga/Booker/Orton. There you can have all the staredowns and tension between Cena and Lashley you want, have Booker talking trash to Lawler on the outside, and maybe have Hardy scoop a cheap win over Umaga to set up their match at GAB.
  9. The ECW Originals winning at WM23. Everyone thought they would lose.

My thoughts exactly. God forbid there actually be matches longer than 5 minutes. God I really despise Mcmahon sometimes. Did you see ECW last week? Maybe that'll become a good substitute.

HALLELUJAH! We finally know where Cena's gimmick should go next; Crack-Addict Cena.

    OaO 7/16 Raw Thread

After the recent clusterfuck of PPV's it's strange having 4 weeks between them again. Then again WWE did kinda lose the 1st week due to certain events.
  13. I've missed a lot of the really distasteful angles, but the ones I have seen (Such as the Chavo/Rey/Vickie angle last year) I simply avoid watching. To make me stop watching now would be a high proportion of shows where there is not one passable wrestling match on the card.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007

I'm watching a RAW from almost exactly 9 years ago, with HBK doing colour commentary. When asked by JR when he would be returning to the ring, he said that was for the man upstairs to decide. Does anyone know when HBK converted to Christianity, because I thought it was after this.

    Ahahahahahaha. No.

    Top WWE guy sent home

Did they mean sent home last night, or over the past weekend of shows? Because if it was yesterday wouldn't it be someone from the RAW roster?

    Smackdown Spoilers

Khali's backstage segment was great. He didn't hold back on chucking that guy, at it made him look twice as powerful that when he did a similar spot with Cena.

    Top WWE guy sent home

I'm gonna go in a different direction and say CM Punk.

Bobby Lashley - Is he underrated?

If Cena/Lashley are told to go 12-15 minutes, they could have a good match at GAB. If they are told to go 20+ I reckon they will overcompensate, slow the pace right down, and it will suck.

    Wrestling books

It's fairly good, but I agree it the worst of the 3, probably because he had the least material to work with. If you can get it in paperback for $10 on Amazon in a couple of months or whatever, I'd get it.

    Mark Henry's "Silverback" Gimmick/Nickname

Vader can do that 10 times more effectively than Henry, and be more entertaining and be able to wrestle. Guys like him, Taker, Abyss etc. have showed that being big does not automatically exclude you from being able to wrestle. Plus his match at One Night Stand was really shit in every sense. But, that was good promo last Smackdown. More time on the mic, more qucik intense run-ins, less actual matches if they have to use the guy. Young Vader could. 2007 Vader can barely stand upright the last time we saw him. In his prime though, there were few people who would put a beat down like Vader. Vader was still going strong in 2000 at the age of 43, Henry is 36 and surely has less wear and tear from the ring than Vader.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released

Like it was explained the standard in WWE is 6-1 where as in say the Olympics is 4-1..... I really wish people would quit saying "in other sports" Wrestling is not a god damn sport. The only real major loop hole is the prescription from a Dr. one and frankly I think if you have a severe injury to be subscribed steroids which does happen, it happened to me personally. I think you should get a pass if it is legit but they should take a look into guys who have prescriptions when they shouldn't have however. I know I'm being an idiot in this post, but to completely clarify, you're saying the WWE tolerance levels are 1.5 times the Olympic levels? I would assume the IOC would have the strictest testing erhaps globally, so that's a pretty high standard WWE is setting.
