    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

I just saw the November 9-15th Best Buy ad and the Exclusive Best Buy Eddie Guerrero DVD comes in a tin and is 7 Discs!!!!! It doesn't say what the 7 discs include though.

    Essential Starrcade

I'm hoping the websites "extras" are on the DVD, if one is coming out. Because, at least then it'll give me a reason to buy it. Also, JR said he filmed something for the DVD, so it would be even better if it was something completely different than this countdown, which is awesome to begin with.

Match Listing for the Kane DVD. Promotional material for the DVD reads, "For more than ten years, Kane has cut a fiery swath of destruction through World Wrestling Entertainment. He has held both the WWE and ECW championships. Now, for the first time ever, fans can purchase The Best of Kane, a 3-DVD set that collects the greatest matches in the Big Red Monster's history." The SHOWDOWN at SHEA

Why? Because of all the matches on the card, they didn't show his. Plus, they stopped showing his AWA hosted show like over a year ago.

    NWA Weekly Programming Thread

This supertowns of the NWA show seems random, but I'm going to watch it right now, it opens with a Windham/Arn Anderson match, so it's not a typical studio show, so, it could be good.

They did, I wonder why that was.

    Legends Programming

Tazz had been sadly out of place on these roundtables. Having him on the territory one and not having Lawler or even Mike Graham was absolutely ridiculous, and I like Tazz a lot. The Thing I like about Tazz is that he's about 20 years younger than most of the panel, so he brings more of a fans perspective to these round tables.
  11. heyguesswhatidid

    Legends Programming

I feel bad for Tazz, no one listens to him. In the new roundtable, JR mentions how The Oddities sucked, after mentioning the No Limit Soldiers, so Tazz says "at least the Oddities were entertaining" and everyone keeps thinking Tazz said that about the NLS and they keep cutting him off.

2008 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony

I agree with that 100% Anyone who boo's at a HOF because they don't care about the induction shouldn't be there, they should be thrown out immediately.

    WWF Survivor Series 1992

Holy shit, this is the first PYBO in months that it actually let me burn to my DVDR without it saying "Copy written Material." that makes me happy and i hope that means I'll be able to record the new roundtable episode.

    WWE Unforgiven 2008

  15. heyguesswhatidid

    Legends Programming

Yeah, that was pretty stupid. That's a match that should be shown in the Flair H.O.F. piece. They should have shown some matches he actually won.

    WCW SuperBrawl VI

I thought the Page/Badd match was surprisingly good as was the Nasty Boys vs. Public Enemy. I love the classic Pillman moment. That Konnan/OMG match was awful as was Hogan/Giant. Flair/Macho could have been way better IMO.
  17. heyguesswhatidid

    Legends Programming

That Harley Race Vs. Bundy match from WCCW was a pretty fun brawl. Also, I was upset that the LOW program was an old one, I was hoping it was going to be the one with Flair on the panel, I guess that'll be later in the month. Though, the LOW up is a pretty good one, the Flair stuff is gold, the Slaughter stuff is mediocre.

    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

Just checked KOCH Canada's website now, and they have a 3-disc Edge DVD scheduled for release on December 23rd. Also have a 3-disc Kane DVD scheduled for December 9th. (There's no real title listed for Kane's, but Edge's is "A Decade of Decadence".) This was obviously a very recent update, too, as I checked their site yesterday and these weren't listed. Those both would be really good, I hope they actually release them both.

I'd count that with the blurring since it's the whole deletion of "WWF"

Just a question for all of you... What upsets you more on a DVD, music edits or the blurring?

    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

Just a VHS transfer. If you have the tape it's not worth getting the DVD unless you can find the DVD for less than $20 (eBay resale value is $30-50!). It's just rare because it was one of the more limited in release of the Attitude Collection DVDs. I think Raw Homecoming is easily the rarest. It was only available as an exclusive at Walmart with a version of WM XX in the slimline DVD case. It sold out quickly and had a limited run. Also rare is the two-disc FYE version of the Ultimate Warrior DVD. Also, if you guys are interested in the GAB 2008 DVD, K-Mart has a package of that and last year's GAB together for $14.99. They're also doing it for Summerslam when it comes out. I actually have that Warrior DVD, I was meeting my brother at work (he works at a Best Buy) and he was going to buy me the Warrior DVD as a gift, on the way to pick him up, I stopped in an FYE and saw the 2 disc warrior and thought nothing of it, when I got to best buy I sure they were all 1 disc and didn't say "collectors edition" on the top, so I made him spend the extra couple of bucks (since no discount) and I got the 2 disc one. I may pick up that GAB 2008 2 pack, sounds cool, might as well get both shows.

    WWE Old School

I haven't watched it yet, but there's also a DiBiasi/Roberts match and a Blue Blazer/Valentine match, so those sound promising also. Though, I read the result of the Brain Busters/Bushwhackers match and it sounds like the dumbest ending ever.

    Smackdown Spoilers for 8.22.08

Hopefully he will just be added to the match rather than Kendrick being taken out..then with Jericho on Raw both matches will have 6 participants. That would be better, and hopefully they make these matches 30 minutes, because with only 40 minutes of main eventers on a show, the rest will be the definition of filler.

    The OAO WWE DVD Thread

I'd say Undertaker: The Phenom Best of 2001: Viewer's Choice Raw Homecoming Judgment Day 2002 nWo: Back in Black Undertake: The Phenom was just a VHS transfer right? Or was there anything added to the tape? Because I have the tape but I want to know if tracking a DVD down for more footage is worth it.

    Many guys released

I'm going to miss Colin and Stevie, but most of all I'll miss Cherry's tits.
