"...no, seriously, bro. I'm on like a dozen different pills right now now, and I have no clue who I fucking am. I can't even understand my own accent. Who am I, bro?"

Part of the problem is that the dude who smashed everyone else on the show hasn't been seen since. -

I don't think I've been particularly hard on him since his Creduer fight, if I've said anything at all about him. He joined a good camp for his style. -

Old semi-washed up dude vs. semi-old washed up dude. Meh. -

Riggs doesn't seem to have the same explosive power he has at middleweight when he fights as a welter, so his physical advantages over Shields will be blunted. As for the Daley fight, I think a good part of Shields' difficulty came from being intimidated by Daley's striking ability, which is unmatched in the weight class. I think Shields will be relaxed enough to avoid being overwhelmed by Riggs standing until he manages to find his way to the ground, where he rolls up Riggs handily. -

So long as it's only for one show. I'm generally for as few rules as possible. -

You didn't straight jack my posts word for word, but you have to admit that they were essentially the same insights reworded. I don't care if you do it, just give whomever credit for their insight, like I do too often with Breen. -

If you do, then try and wait at least a month before getting yourself banned again. -

Dude, I live in SoCal; of course I've been to Vegas before. If my cash is limited by the time it comes, I'll probably stick to booze, a meal at Bouchon and stalking various MMA personalities. -

I meant going to a bar out here, since there was no fucking way I was going to attend a UFC in Canada, birthday or no. Now, with my friends and family bothering me about going out in mid-April anyway (lots of birthdays around that time), I may actually go, since it's on my birthday and all. -

Fuck. At least when it was up in Canada-land, all I had to do was watch it at the bar and do a couple of birthday shots. Now, I might have to drive out to Vegas and drink my ass off with money I don't technically have. Fucking enablers. -
YOU DON' T KNOW 'CAUSE YOU WEREN'T THERE, MAN! YOU AIN'T NEVER HAD TO KILL NO BABIES! I guess I could substitute names, though I think it'd be kind of odd picking random names to coworkers, whether just random mundane names of Michael Scott style-assignments ("Crazy Leb," "Mikey Tits," "Sgt. Guns"). If I wanted to keep any sense of continuity and help the narrative, I'd have to give these guys some title to remember their crazy personalities by. On the other hand, I'm not sure how okay I feel with associating guys with some of the legit felonies we committed, as opposed to just random mentions in stories where I can leave them as semi-blank slates. I'll think on it some.

I don't think archiving my bouncer stories would work too well, as I'm not comfortable stating names on a site with a good deal of traffic like this one, making for someone pretty awkward reads (and that's before taking the alcohol into effect). EDIT: Solution: Charge for premium membership which allows viewing of unedited versions of the stories. Cha-ching.

We were going to, but our girls were all like "No, don't get crazy, baby! They don't know who are, baby! They just don't know!" So, yeah, we're letting 'em off easy this time.

It's a really interesting fight, as they're opposites in a lot of ways. Uno is a consummate veteran who gets by on dictating the pace of a fight by using his wrestling game, making the most of what you wouldn't call "overpowering" submission or striking games. Spencer, on the other hand, is a very athletic fighter with the ability to end a fight suddenly both standing or on the mat, but lacks the wrestling and gameplanning to make the most of his skills, and has paid the price with some frustrating losses as a consequence. -

Wow... that came out of nowhere. And fuck... I don't want to see either guy lose. -
Nothing will ever top a near-naked Japanese man covered in semen, hyping PRIDE: Sodomy.

Bobby Lashley makes MMA debut on December 13th...
Lei Tong replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
We had this discussion a while back about mixed style PPV's, and I'm of the mind that while there is some crossover between MMA & boxing fans, I think most prefer to see them separately, as I do. I'm not sure how well I can explain why, except to say that the mind frame watching the two sports tends to be quite different. -

Seriously, though. It does suck for Blake, who ended up taking the fight on a week's notice or so. But like someone else mentioned, that kind of thing doesn't really matter to the average person who'll see the extra L on his record. -

Well, I mean, it's "technically" hearsay & conjecture right now, but I refuse to believe that Blizake could lose to a freakin' Royce Gracie protégé. -
Read/possibly write, I guess. Fuck I'm hungover.
