- Chuck's ground game (aside from his uncanny ability to regain his feet), is likely still drizzling shit. BJJ belts aren't always indictive of a person's skills on the ground. - Randy manahndled Tito because in a battle between 2 wrestlers, the better one will win the vast majority of the time, unless the other is more dynamic in the other aspects of the game (which Tito isn't). -

Tito's always been one of my favorite fighters (though often giving me things to feel embarassed about), but he really hasn't done a whole lot since beating Matyushenko, and thus there hasn't been much to say about him. The Belfort & Forrest matches were decent in that Tito showed he could handle some adversity, but neither performance was overly impressive either. After he drubs ken again, I think he should fight Jason Lambert, a decent Top 15 type of guy who would be a confidence booster. -

Tito's still Top 10 caliber, but isn't held nearly in as high a regard as he was a few years ago. Despite how badly Randy manahndled him, he's still one of the best wrestlers at 205, and also has good G&P & decent standup when he chooses to use them. Tito's biggest knocks are that he doesn't handle being hit well (he's a bit chinny and tends to panic when hit well), is often very passive and has become somewhat injury prone. There's also been longtime rumours that Tito shows alot more skills (especially BJJ wise) in the gym than he does in the cage for whatever reason. -
Ultimate Fighter Season 4 the thread...

They've all fought in the UFC before, so some of the names should probably be familiar. -
I HATE the DVDR MMA board. Too many people who've been watching since TUF started that now think they're experts. Don't worry. You guys have me.

Judges are allowed to score a round even at 10-10, though it's generally discouraged.

Lytle, Jackson, Cote & Sell are my early picks for finalists (unless they face each other). -

I'll fully admit that I underestimated Silva's ability to hurt Leben (based more on overestimating Leben's chin than underestimating Anderson's power), but I somehow expected Leben to... I dunno, avoid SOME of the strikes, or at least shoot eventually. Instead, everything landed, and everything hurt.
-
If I'm not around in an hour, I'll put the av up tomorrow.
-
Well, looks like a great chin will only get you so far.
-
I don't think anyone actually agrees with the scorecards. Rashad won every round pretty easily. He's just boring as hell. I guess when I watch him I don't get bored, because I see a world of potential. The only thing that pisses me off more than underachievers are Puerto Ricans.
-
It was actually a matter of Rashad being so insanely fucking boring and passive so as to have a judge spite him on the cards.
-
I've yet to see judges who score a 10-8 round just for a few takedowns. Maybe a takedown and some hellacious follow-up G&P.
-
Pease keep Rashad off my TV until he learns to do something other than score takedowns.
-
You know that scoring is about control. And big takedowns score points. Bonner had ZERO offense. A 10-8 round should not be scored for anything other than doing alot of damage or scoring a number of clsoe submission attempts. Rashad did neither. And no, the slams didn't do alot of damage.
-
...10-8 for the three slams that did no damage and 3 punches on the ground?
-
Gurgel should go back to gay stripping and not fighting one dimensional featherweights.
-
Hominick hasn't done shit to say otherwise. Rogan may be the only person around who thinks Gurgel performed well in that fight. Hominick basically restricted himself purely to punching and still beat him easily.
-
"Slight" advantage to Hominick? Fuck off, Joe.
-
Well, Gurgel still sucks.
-
I have absolutely no doubt that Rich is capable of either pounding Anderson out from the back mount or submitting him.
-
Because Silva's a very good striker and Rich has a shaky chin. Of course Rich would still be a huge favorite in that fight, except to morons.

I refuse to watch Von Flue's retarded arm triangle variation again.
