RKO him and then apologize.

Randy Orton = Hero to All

Apologize? Is this going to be the South Park style apology? Is Steph going to drop her pants and make Jericho "apologize"?
-
Who told Stephanie it was ok to wear leather? was it the same person who told Liz Lemon to wear shorts to work one day?
-
Vince isn't back there producing... things are already going to hell.
-
Hahaha... Nice touch with Dolph.
-
And all to shill a DVD. Although there was a Sting name drop in there as well.
-
There has to be several of them.
-
For some reason, I thought the record for Rumble eliminations would be higher than 36.
-
The "Yes We Can" bit was a very nice touch.
-
And Wikipedia also makes mention of those who won it under the original set-up (WWE Championship) and those who got it by winning the World Heavyweight Championship.
-
Come on John... help Shawn get his smile back!
-
Kind of glad they didn't do the traditional hometown hero treatment.
-
Let's see if Punk gets the hometown hero treatment...
-
details, please? That Stephanie wouldn't be anything without the last name McMahon.
-
Wow... Orton saying what we have all thought at one point or another.
-
I guess going for the cheap local pop, but for the last show to build to the Rumble, which is being held at Joe Louis... wearing a Blackhawks jersey really isn't a smart thing to do.

Not targeting you, but I always love it when other people bring up how the People's Elbow was a bad finisher. -
WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

From the latest Observer archive edition: 12/2/91 That would have been an interesting dynamic and "what-if" situation. Rhodes/Steamboat vs. The Enforcers was and still is one of my favorite matches, and it's one of the best WCW matches I can remember. Steamboat's arrival as the mystery partner and the subsequent sell job by The Enforcers are both things of beauty. -
There are a slew of people that could induct the Funks. They could get someone like Dusty Rhodes, Harley Race, or someone along those lines.

It depends. Given his size, he's surely going to do a lot more jobs than he's ever done in his career, however if the wwe runs with the Mysterio storyline, he'll get a huge push upon his debut. And if he starts being jobbed out he'll quit on a moments notice. He gets himself over wherever he goes, certainly has a quiet charisma about him and offers the fans something different. I just don't know if being a fake Filipino is the way to go with him. On a side note - why doesn't Vladimir Kozlov wear this badass looking singlet rather than the diaper looking tightie whities. I would instantly become a Kozlov fan if he wore that or any USSR inspired attire.

A Small History of My Declined Interest

A portion of the crowd boos him out of the building. So we got a guy who can make a company a LOT of money by having: A section of the audience that wants/and will pay to see him win AND A section of the audience that wants/and will pay to see him lose And people still wonder why Cena is on top? -
These two dates. SamoaRowe is on the money, in my opinion. Personally, i'd have chosen the Bret Hart/Steve Austin match at WrestleMania 13 as the starting point for the Attitude Era, but now that SR says that above, I 100% agree. I'm in agreement with these dates as well. You can trace portions of Attitude back into 1995, but honestly, King of the Ring '96 was the starting point with the Austin 3:16 line. It was that era's version of "Say your prayers and eat your vitamins". Austin's popularity started to build, and it became cool to cheer the psychopathic heel in place of the moralistic baby-face (The Austin/Bret feud that developed shortly after).

TSM Profile: "Macho Man" Randy Savage

Wasn't Bruno backstage at a WWE show in Pittsburgh about five years back? I can't remember exactly why (something Hall of Fame or WWE 24/7 related probably) but I'm sure it was something business related. I remember Bruno saying an interview that there was a mentally handicapped fan backstage that went to all of the shows and he hoped that the kid wasn't the "inspiration" for Eugene, who debuted shortly thereafter. Kind of a stretch I must say as WWE has a lot of mentally handicapped fans. Now I'm not trying to do a lame, slightly off color slam at the WWE folder, just stating a fact. But that's neither here nor there. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see Bruno make amends somewhat with Vince and be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. I think I've heard Jim Cornette mention this kid before as well. His dad is either a government official of some sorts. -

He was backstage at a Raw in Pittsburgh in 2004. He was approached to do stuff for 24/7/, apparently, but he did not want to be seen as endorsing the current product. I was wrong - Vince would work with him, however, Bruno wants none of it. Some more information (I know it's Wikipedia, but still...) - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruno_Sammart...wrestling_today
