The title shot is set. Logic dictates, face or no face, the champion in a weakened state is more vulnerable. Then again, you can have Punk get ticked off and then eat a spinebuster... The title shot isn't set if Punk is injured, and incapacitated and isn't able to compete this Sunday. Plus, Batista wanting someone else to beat Punk up before Sunday, would essentially make him a, pussy. The kind of character he has would want his opponent at his strongest. True... That's I guess why I can relate to the heel line of thinking better.

It doesn't make sense for Batista to save Punk, especially since Punk won the World Title after Batista softened Edge up....

Why would you be dying to see someone lose their job? Because he's the biggest waste of space on a WWE roster since Road Warrior Animal in 05. And outside of a random segment like the one just shown, what exactly is Hacksaw doing other than getting a chance to make some good money late in his career? It's not like they are pushing him over young talent or anything. The WWE could be employing far worse than Hacksaw, who by the way still gets a good reaction from the crowd. Edit - Written before I saw your edit.

And yet, he still gets one of the better pops from the crowd.

If DiBiase was anything like his father, he would have offered Kelly a couple of bills before she left the ring... and then told her to meet him back at his place.
-
LOL... Poor Santino...
-
Here's hoping JBL contracts the services of DiBiase Jr. and Rhodes.

Ahhh... sounds like WCW's ill-fated hardcore battle royal in a junkyard... the one where pretty much everyone got injured.

Punk drinks a lot of pepsi. He even has the pepsi logo as a tattoo.
-
It would have been hilarious if Punk was sipping on a pepsi during this bit... And my guess is that Kane is talking about "the old Kane" being dead... and it's about to come back out.
-
LOL!!! -Did you try the pepsi machine?
-
Definitely a good crowd tonight...

King Regal w/ iron fist As much as I'd like to see that, I don't see it happening right after a major drug suspension.

Although it makes you wonder who they are going to bring in to push the "reset" button/bring order back to the scope of things.

LOL.... That was a pretty hilarious contrast, I must say.

I've always thought being from "Anywhere He Darn Well Pleases", like Sid was, would be quite complicated for the mailman and other services.

All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

With the next selection in the draft, I'm going to take another tag-team and one of the better ones still on the board. After they had a dominant run in the WWWF in the 1970's, both men went on to individual success... one as a manager and one as a singles wrestler. My plan is to work them as allies with Austin Idol in his feud with Jesse Ventura and the team I'm planning on putting Ventura with. Ladies and Gentlemen.... "HANDSOME" JIMMY AND "LUSCIOUS" JOHNNY... I forgot all about them, and I've been looking for two more tag-teams. -

A very good utility heel in my opinion. -

With the next selection in the draft, I'm going to take a very strong heel that can dominate Bob Armstrong and cause him to get more sympathy from the crowd. He's a WWE Hall of Famer and a true legend in the sport as he was a precursor to the hardcore style... and he trained several prominent current superstars. He was a wild man in the ring, and he'll fit in nicely with the rest of my roster. Ladies and Gentlemen.... KILLER KOWALKSI -
Who is your wrestling hero and have you ever met him?
Diamonddust replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
Man, that had to suck. Especially since he felt strongly enough about it that he worked an indy benefit show to buy a tombstone for Crash's grave. Oddly enough, I did meet Crash once. He was doing the Mad Mikey gimmick in TNA not long before he died, and somehow me and him ended up alone in the back looking at the big dry-erase board they had with the booking for that night's show. It looked exactly what you'd expect a show which was thrown together by Russo that day and then scribbled all over a giant dry erase board would look like, that is to say complicated gibberish. We shared a laugh about how they were either trying too hard or not trying hard enough. Then he died like a couple months later. Bummer. That was early in my Touch Of Death phase. Yeah, it did suck. I'll never forget how dumbfounded Foley looked when I said that.
