You are getting away with murder. That was my next pick. It was a toss-up between him and Dog this morning.

For my next selection in the draft, I'm continuing to let the money talk instead of getting guaranteed 4 and star matches. This individual was easily one of the most popular wrestlers of all time, and a HUGE box-office attraction in a top territory. He was involved in some highly memorable angles down there, and most importantly - ALL facets of the fan base loved this guy. He'll be a top face in my promotion, and he'll have a ready made feud with Harley Race waiting for him (And hopefully my next selection). Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you none other than... J.Y.D... THE JUNK YARD DOG

Yeah, I remember really liking the end of this Nitro (Unfortunately, the visual that instantly comes to mind is the shot of Benoit swigging the champagne in Luger's lockeroom), but even back then I was kind of bummed knowing that Hogan only lost it because he wanted to win the belt back at the PPV that Sunday.

I guess I was foolish to think Mr. Wonderful would slip to the next round. I had Paul ranked extremely high based on the fact he could be an awesome face and heel. He would have definitely been a centerpiece of my promotion.

With the next pick of the draft, I've decided to select my heel tag-team to feud with the Rock and Roll Express. Of the tag-teams left, I'm kind of surprised these guys are still here considering they are one of the most decorated and respected teams in history. They won every place they visited, and they had a great gimmick... not to mention they were both legitimately tough individuals. Oh yeah, they are also the heads of one of the most prominent wrestling families out there. Yup, you guessed it... FROM THE ISLE OF SAMOA... Afa and Sika... The Wild Samoans! They'd be the team that could kick Ricky and Robert all over the arena before the R&R made the big comeback. Plus, if I ever decide to turn Jimmy Snuka heel, I have an instant stable.

Awesome pick that I hoped somehow would fall to me later on... or at least Sid or Spivey as a singles wrestler. Still, not the pick I was worried you'd take... it's still safe, for now.

I really hope it's not who I think it might be...

Ok, it's one minute past the 12 hour mark so I'm going to go ahead and make my selection: With Magnum T.A. and Barry Windham taken off the board, I was left scrambling to find a proper face that can complement Andre's role as top face while also being a main event caliber talent. It took me a while, but I found him. He can work both heel and face, which I value a great deal. He'd also work well with Harley Race on top of the card. One of the biggest stars in this country before Hulkamania hit... If it wasn't for major personal problems, he could have possibly had the Hulk Hogan role... Ladies and gentlemen, I give you none other than... "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka

There are a couple still on the board that have surprised me, but they aren't in my strategy.

I could watch Mankind/The Rock over and over again, and the ending of that match would never get old.

I have no problem with The Outsiders being selected as a tag-team, especially considering Hall and Nash were no where near the tops of my draft list... so I have no reason to argue one way or the other.

You're not the only one who is thinking that. It can technically still happen but not at the level that people would want it to happen, if you catch my drift.

That was supposed to happen in WCW in the Summer of '99 and that's what the vignettes of Hak and Raven hanging out at Raven's house were slowly building up to. Of course, it being WCW, nothing ever came of it. Great picks as well there, Brooklyn Zoo. I'm kind of shock that Brody hadn't been picked so far. He kind of slipped my mind. RVD was one of the guys I was downright flabbergasted as to why he hadn't been picked yet with this draft's love of current and semi-current guys. I was mildly tempted to pick up Sabu and RVD as a tag team but I figured everyone would get pissed at me and they wouldn't really fit what I'm going for. I've got to say there have only been two or three picks in this draft that I've outright disagreed with thus far. Great selections for the most part by all of you. Yeah, there's only been a couple of picks that have been real reaches compared to the talent that is still out there.

For my next pick, I have about 3-4 potential people in mind for that particular spot/role I'm trying to fill. The list changes if one of those picks comes off the board. For instance, with my Rock and Roll Express pick, I had the Road Warriors easily rated as my highest tag-team. When they went off and then when the Midnight Express (My 3rd rated tag-team) went off shortly after that, I figured it was time to pull the trigger on the Rock and Roll, which was my second rated team. The value in this draft, as in any draft, is going to be those later rounds with the talent that falls to that position. There are going to be older wrestlers, who were big names in their day, fall to the later rounds.

I had Brody valued high, and I hate to say... RVD hadn't even came to mind, but I am shocked he lasted this long. Both are great picks.

Piper vs. Raven would be highly entertaining.

Right now, it's The Road Warriors. They would have meant more business than the Rock and Roll Express along with the fact that they could work both face and heel, which is key. Losing Dusty also stung.

With a couple of my highly valued picks just selected (DiBiase, The Road Warriors, and The Midnight Express) and I couple picks I'm confident will be waiting for me in the next round, I'm going to go ahead and select the best tag-team left on the board... Ladies and Gentlemen... The team that defined tag-team wrestling in the 1980s... And the team that was a major draw every place they visited (Especially with the female audience, which is key)... I give you none other than... Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson... The Rock and Roll Express They'll be the anchor of my tag-team division that I had hoped the Road Warriors would be.
