I can fast forward to any point of the show, however, after a minute goes by... the episode stops. I can restart it and pick up where I left off, however.

Yeah, I've got Comcast and both WM8 and LOW: Wrestlemania are showing as 1 minute long. I hope they fix it soon. -
Glad I wasn't the only one who had that happened... the two things I really wanted to see, and they're listed as 1 minute long.

Bam Bam/Lawrence Taylor closed Wrestlemania 11...

Cornette's commentary/rants are easily the highlight of this program. He was at such an incredible form at this point.

after seeing him on Raw last night and with Hardy out the mitb I definitely could see them going with Punk because he does have a good fan following and his straight edge lifestyle. I mean when your second biggest belt (IC) has had to change hands the last two times due to drug suspensions then you really have to think before you start pushing someone else. But he's the King of the Indies!

Eddie Graham is the newest inductee... Gordon Solie should round out the class next week.

No... Probably Eddie Graham this week and Gordon Solie next week. Last year they announced at least one Hall of Fame induction (The Samoans, for example) off of Raw and on Smackdown.

Hate to see this... he was truly one of the great heel managers. I really enjoyed his 1989 run with The Great Muta and Terry Funk. http://www.pwbts.com/messages/17174.htm Paul Bearer's blog at http://www.percypringle.com also has a brief blurb about it.

You mean, like nWo Vincent? I'm guessing he meant the "big talker" in a stable - the one who tends to get everyone else in trouble because he can't keep his mouth shut.

Whats the first pay per view you saw live?
Diamonddust replied to Frankie Williams's topic in General Wrestling
The one I attended, Guilty as Charged, was really hit and miss. I had a bunch of friends, who were casual fans, with me, and the big thing they wanted to see was The Sandman (Not real hard to figure out how he'd appeal to a bunch of high school seniors). He no-showed the event (Scheduled to take on Rhino), and they didn't bother telling anyone in Boutwell Auditorium about it that night. Still... it was pretty nuts to see Spike Dudley take the Super Awesome-Bomb through the table that night. -

First PPV I saw live was Wrestlemania XV... First one I attended was ECW's Guilty as Charged 2000 in Birmingham, Alabama. -
If Kane wins the battle royale, I do. Otherwise, I doubt it.

Santino would make a great manager... if the WWE still used managers properly. (See Armando Estrada as another example)

Good idea. I didn't know if I should do a different thread or not, but I'll put up one later this evening or in the morning.

Let's Talk About... The 1993 Survivor Series
Diamonddust replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in General Wrestling
I remember as a kid thinking the angle where they introduced the Undertaker as part of the team was pretty awesome. -
Not sure if this is a typo in light of the Jeff Hardy situation or not, but the WWE.Com preview of Smackdown is stating the Miz/Morrison match is for the last MITB spot:
-
As someone mentioned earlier - chaos amongst Mayweather's entourage and the WWE roster ensues, and then someone comes in with a cheap shot on Big Show... allowing Mayweather to get the win.

SHARE!! Yes, do tell, please. I don't currently have 24/7. To sum it up briefly, he told a story about looking all over the SkyDome for the Warrior after Mania ended and finally found him in a dark room, all alone, sobbing about how he couldnt believe what had just happened. They could have done so much more with this show. I thought that they would at least have expanded it longer than an hour or had a second part. I hate to hear that. The roundtable discussions are easily my favorite part of the 24/7 service. The quality has gotten a little low recently, though. They also could have done a whole lot more with the discussion on the territory system. I remember it being said during its run, but I'll say it again... not having Jerry Lawler, Dusty Rhodes, or even Mike Graham for that episode was absolutely ridiculous.

An obituary a journalist friend of mine did for the Cruiserweight Championship: Obituary WWE Cruiserweight Championship WWE Cruiserweight Championship of Stamford, Conn., died March 3, 2008, after a long bout against creativeteamitis. He was 16. Known as "Cruizy" to his friends, Championship began his career in sports entertainment at an early age. He was most recently employed by Friday Night Smackdown! He enjoyed music, especially wrestler's entrance themes. In his spare time, he co-wrote several entrance themes with the help of Quincy Jones, many of which were produced by his half brother, Rick Ocasek. Days before his death, he completed what would have been his own entrance theme -- a collaborative work with his neighbor and sometimes racquetball partner, Timbaland. Cruizy was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. WCW Light Heavyweight Championship. He is survived by a sister, WWE Women's Championship; and two brothers, WWE Intercontinental Championship and WWE U.S. Championship. Serving as pallbearers will be Chavo Guerrero, Chavo "Classic," Spike Dudley, Gregory Helms, Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio. Funeral arrangements have not been finalized but will be announced later by World Wrestling Entertainment Inc.
