I LOVE how participating in Wrestlemania was the last thing mentioned in regards to what the Diva Search winner got.

It's also a giant F-U to the fans expecting Jericho... Santino was basically mocking us all expecting Jericho to show up.

Rob Van Dam when he was in Birmingham during a meet and greet for Guilty as Charged 2000... High as a kite but extremely nice.

WWE General Discussion - October 2007

. ----------------------- Meanwhile, according to today's WON, either Vince McMahon or Kevin Dunn freaked out and was afraid that the name "Birmingham" sounded terrible, thus the tapings 2 weeks ago were only referred to as being from "the United Kingdom." Being from Birmingham, Alabama, I'm not sure how to take this. I have a sinking feeling that by saying "Birmingham", McMahon and Dunn probably thought it would cause people to think of a "Southern" city. Honestly, they don't have any problems mentioning Birmingham when one of their stars gets an injury and has to go see Dr. Jim Andrews down here.
  12. One that shocked me as a kid: The Undertaker locking The Ultimate Warrior in the casket. I had to go to bed right after that aired, and it freaked me out.

    Austin's missed feuds

The feud with Eddie before he "took his ball and went home".

    Andre movie

I remember the WWE 24/7 Legends Roundtable episode where they talked about Iron Sheik and Andre (Easily the most entertaining of those episodes). The funniest Andre story was the one Dusty told where they were in a bordello in New Orleans, the power went out, Dusty felt something wet on his leg, thought it was rain, heard Andre laughing, and then realized he had Giant piss on his leg. Dusty's line "Andre the Giant peed on the American Dream in a bordello in New Orleans" was absolutely hilarious. Bobby Heenan's book also has some funny Andre stories.

    WWE 24/7 October Discussion

I was being sarcastic, but I don't fault the WWE for what they're doing. They are not going to let anyone say they're trying to profit off the career of a murderer after the fact.

Probably a mixture of having an experience hand on staff and giving Hacksaw one last good payday before he hangs up the boots for good.

    WWE 24/7 October Discussion

I think if nothing happens on one or the other show, they'll skip it. They won't skip a show with an important angle, even if it's a no-compete week. We're about to hit the point where Nitro was regularly rescheduled due to the NBA playoffs being shown on TNT. yea I guess, but my point is I like seeing the old shows in order (and recording them as well) though nitro has kinda lots a bit of luster due to the editing out of history of You-Know-Who It's not like "He Who Shall Not Be Named" was doing anything of note at this point in 1997. If memory serves me correctly, his next "big feud" is with Meng.

Actually, there is Samoa (Western Samoa) and then there is American Samoa (Eastern Samoa).

I just wish they'd show Clashes period. They could start it from Clash 1, go all the way to the last one, and it would take a couple of years if done on a once a month basis.

    Best sell jobs in wrestling?

Yes, but as formulaic as it became... the crowd still reacts positively to it. It still elicits an emotional response, which is why the tag-team match hasn't changed much over time.

The shorties look pretty good... especially the Vader/Flair match.

    Best sell jobs in wrestling?

One we've all forgotten: Ricky Morton He could sell the "face in peril" during a tag-team match better than ANYONE.

    Best sell jobs in wrestling?

Arn Anderson was another overall great seller. He could easily make it look as if the face was absolutely murdering him in the ring. His facial expressions were key.
