Why? Probably because Verizon makes money off of it via the texting. As for "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother", noone's ever done a better cover than the Housemartins. However, when the Idols did it live it wasn't horrible, so I'll give them that.

That's fine - that leaves Carrie and Vonzell for me. Yeah, right...

So basically, Name Celeb X got Unknown Person Y to sleep with them under the pretense of helping Y to a career of fame and fortune in LA, and it didn't happen, and Y feels used. I'm kinda thinking that this happens all the time out there. But because X is Paula Abdul, we're supposed to be shocked?

I chat here and on Inside Pulse but that's about it. I've tried TWoP but you read one post and there are about 500 more by the time you finish it (250 after the mods have banned half the posters).

btw it's good to see at least one person plotting and scheming to the point where they've got some outs if Plan A doesn't work. Of course, like I said before, Greg's Plan A got shot to hell, so I'd assume that he started working on a new plan (which pretty much HAS to include Steph) once Janu quit. You know, if I wasn't rooting for Steph to win, I'd be rooting for Greg.

True. Plus, there's a Final Five alliance there, and as long as Tom and Ian retain Katie for that they'd be OK. Also bear in mind that while they are aware of the Greg-Jen alliance, they didn't know about their plan to drag Janu and Caryn to the Final Four. Of course, all of this is now shot to hell and I wouldn't be surprised to see Greg go next week.

Producer dude: But that makes for BORING TV! Lets spend our energy on the psycho from Las Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or, the hippie guy, or the short dude, or the chick that noone likes, or the other chick that noone likes, etc... Seriously, just use a minute to show the developing man-love. Not that hard, y'know?

The "S" Shield is cool, at least.
-
No, it was fine, but they tried to do a Troy/Kwame thing all in one episode, so there wasn't any time to build things there. I mean they were on the same team for most of the show, couldn't you at least build it up?

Looks like she's the swing vote next week, seeing as Janu fucked up Greg's plan and all...
-
You know, I just realized that Steph has been/will be a part of EVERY Tribal Council (player or jury member) except one. That's fucking nuts.

There it is - money talks. Oh, and I forgot to ask - did Scott do his "thank God, point to heaven" thing?

Wish I knew. Guess Hollywood standards ain't what they used to be...

Still haven't found anything. Sorry. Latest I've found was Aston Kuchtcher/Hollaback Girl...
-
Who else was bottom three?
-
Haven't seen his standup either, but I've heard him on radio interviews, and he is indeed quite funny.
-
Frank Caliendo as Bush >> Ferrell as Bush Haven't seen it, but then again, it's Mad TV. I can't be bothered sitting through tons of crap to see a couple of Caliendo impressions.

I see. Also, I knew who Jami Getz was without having to google it. I feel really old...

That's pretty much the way to go, I think. Well, I'm also going to attempt to take my 2 1/2 year old who is turning into a huge Star Wars mark... Right. Not there yet, but I'll probably have one of those around 2007...

I wonder if you're the only guy voting based on the unintentional comedy factor?

I remember that hosting gig mainly because No Doubt was the musical guest and Gwen was looking really good that night. I think I also remember the Ed Grimley skit just not being that great. Short vs Green? Ed Grimley vs the guy who sang "Check the O.R."? Scary.

That's a heat of the moment comment from you, because of Kelly's "oh, TAG" comment. For every one of those, you probably get several comments like "I don't agree with this, and I want it known, for the record, that I disagree with this decision". The rollergirls are hotter (although to be fair, I tend to think that they come as a package). Lena and Kris from the previous Race are hotter. You know it.

Were I to actually care enough to tape and replay the show, I'd probably be able to spot Scott's repetitive moveset. I know for sure he's got the boy band-ish "reach out to the audience" move, and the slow waddle across the stage, but I feel like I'm missing some others here. Does he do the "pound heart and point to heaven" during his performances? Also, does he remind you guys of the dumb trooper in Super Troopers? Ignoring the fact that they're the only two females left, both Carrie and Vonzell have an ass appeal factor. Bottom 3: Carrie, Sergei and Mama's Boy Scott Going home: Sergei, because Savol is like Meredith and Gretchen on the Amazing Race, and doesn't get eliminated when clearly, he should.

Second. Best. Philimination. Ever. After Mirna and Schmirna, that is.
