I read Countdown over lunch, and I can say with confidence that it's worth the $1 investment, even if you hate that they seemingly piss all over the Giffen/DeMatteis/Maguire Justice League. Simply put, it's a good story, and you'll enjoy it.

Well, it'd be better than Romber vs Lynn and Alex, who I'm trying to work in a glass house analogy for but it doesn't seem exactly right. Still, there hasn't been any real conflict between the two yet.

I'm not sure that that's a good thing. Still, it probably doesn't count since it's just a screenwriter's credit.

I tend to think that the singers are always looking for that Whitney song, that song with the glory note so that they can "show off" their voice. I do think though, that with the crop this year, they generally (note: does not include Anwar or Scott) avoid the tried and true and do stuff that we don't normally hear. Now, it's normally still within the singer's comfort zone, but at least it's not always Whitney/Celine/Diane Warren...

Never saw season 1, but they're still great. Every Race has a team that you can't help but like (The Cha Chas, KennyG, The Clowns, Chip and Kim, Kris and Jon) and I think these guys are it. Don't get me wrong, Romber is still my favourite, but these guys are great as well. It doesn't hurt that they're trying to have fun (and mack on the Barbies, although I'd rather do Debbie and Bianca) while racing.

Next week looks like a clipshow...
