And the first reward challenge is... a variation on The Eliminator?

Anyone order from deepdiscountdvd.com ?
starvenger replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Never had a problem with them. They've got very competitive prices, no shipping fees and they don't charge you until an order has been shipped. -
I'd say that it's almost a given...

It's not the 1st time a player refused to show up for work in ATL since Jim Jackson decided to sit on the couch for a few weeks before getting sent to PHX. I HATE CALLING IT "PHX" They need to get a new airport code then... Mad love 4 my ORD Cubs Heh. Still, I'd rather have a short form similar to an airport than to a beef noodle soup...

Bishop. That would be fun until IM figured out Bishop can't absorb a fist to the jaw as well as an energy beam. Polaris... I really dunno. Probably another close one. Not even close if her powers are amped up by whoever's writing her at the time. Havok is about the same as Cyclops. Husk could distract IM for a sec if he likes the jailbait. Sage isn't exactly Cypher in terms of uselessness, but her talent is information, so one-on-one she's screwed. Cable is probably SOL because his powers are mental. Dunno how IM holds up to TK though. Northstar probably wins by hitting on Tony until he runs away.

Got this from Keith's blog: Superman is a dick

How many teams has Yogi Stewart been on the IL for now?

That's kind of sad, seeing as there's so much potential to do tricks with the dribbling. It'd only work if they used an actual street with "CAAAA-AAAAR!!" delays...

I never thought Jack was the best character on TV anyways. He's the most badass (although props to Chase for the whole hand thing), but not the best overall. I'm not fully sold on Locke, either, but he's definitely one of the best in my book. The writers and Terry O'Quinn deserve a lot of credit for making John Locke such a great character.

I don't know what's sadder - that you know the lyrics (or took the time to find them) or that I know what show you're talking about...

And sadly, this brings back memories of "Rock 'em, Sock 'em Techno", the bizarre collaboration between Don Cherry and Chris Sheppard. "Number 4 is Bobby Orr - Let's Go!!!!!" Toronto Maple Leafs: Frank Mahovolich and Darryl Sittler Toronto Raptors: Wince Carter Toronto Blue Jays: Jooooooooooooooooe Carter Toronto Argonauts: Pinball Team Canada basketball: Steve Nash Team Canada hockey: Paul Henderson Montreal Canadiens: Rocket Richard and Guy Lafleur Montreal Expos: Youppi! Calgary Flames: Lanny Macdonald Edmonton Oilers: duh Vancouver Canucks: Trevor Linden. Or maybe Tiger Williams Winnipeg Jets: Dale Hawerchuk Quebec Nordiques: The Statsnys Buffalo Sabres: The Dominator Detroit Red Wings: Gordie Howe. Currently, Steve Yzerman Chicago Blackhawks: Bobby Hull Boston Bruins: Bobby Orr and Cam "Seabass" Neely Philadelphia Flyers: Bobby Clarke. Although it would've been Pelle Lindbergh New York Islanders: Mike Bossy St. Louis Blues: Mike Liut. Currently, Chris Pronger and Al Macinnis Minnesota North/Dallas Stars: Mike Modano

Well, if next week is Hurley-centric, that was a nice segue into it...
-
Hrmph. Didn't see that one coming.

Well, aside from Locke's 2 minutes of screen time (which he owned), DDK's done quite well with his day in the sun...
-
Nice reuse of footage while making it relevant to the here and now...

Wow, from nobody to made man in one easy step. Nice career move, Jin.

Jun in a Bikini!! Aiya!! Between this and Boomer on Battlestar Galactica last Friday, it's been a good few days to ogle Korean women...

60 minutes If that's the case then 24 doesn't have a theme either - instead of a tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick-tick you have beep... beep... beep... beep...

Yep, you're right. And Ashlee's headshot makes her look like Mary Lynn Rajskub's (Chloe from 24) twin. The Amazing Race 7 seems to present a similar problem, as Amber seems like the best looking woman in the Race...

And here I thought the correct answer to that would be "Whatever dude. You'd still do her because she's still hotter than YOUR girlfriend / you haven't gotten laid in 6 months"... Oddly enough, I can't remember them. This is somewhat disturbing. Not that I'm into blondes (although Lena from the last Amazing Race is an exception) but I should at least be able to remember the Hot Chicks...

What he said. You know you're gonna see it anyways, so give in to the Dark Side...

Actually in the beginning Edge tried both styles before settling in the Flatliner v2 as the "official" Downward Spiral. Semantics aside, you're right. Downward Spiral is a reverse Russian Legsweep, Complete Shot is (or is like) a reverse uranage/STO.

Whedon & Cassaday on Astonshing for another year

I'm not sure about that level of tattooing though - too much ink for my taste. As for her chances, for once I agree with the TWoP monkeys in that she needs to get over the "I was picked last, nobody likes me" mentality and play the game, or she's toast.
