Probably the main reason that there's less wrestlers as well. And why the game has to load up after everything. The fact that they didn't change the gameplay aside from some tweaks is good. Everything around that (except CAW) is kind of a step back from HCTP.

Fast national ratings had TAR6 with a 7.4 average, 7.3/11 (and first) in it's regular 9pm timeslot, 7.5/12 (second behind Law & Order SVU) during the second hour. Not bad...

Haven't read it (Finale, that is), but it's probably wasn't as bad as Jesse thinks, nor as good as Bendis thinks. Everything Marvel is bad in Jesse's eyes, so I'll take the review with a grain of salt.

I guess so. In which case hiring David Amber was a fucking waste of money.

27th? I think I was ranked too high...

The TWoP recap of last week pointed out something I totally missed - Sawyer's book didn't look waterlogged at all. So either he was lying about the inhalers or props guy fucked up...

This is pretty much the core of the problem. The networks are too quick to bandwagon onto the concept and milk it dry. Which is pretty impressive considering how vast the reality TV landscape is. Anyways, I think that reality TV has produced some damn fine shows (Amazing Race, MiSTX and (non-celeb) Mole come to mind) but the networks have to use some more fucking common sense when greenlighting new shows. Then again, Father of the Pride and Center of the Universe are still around stinking up my screen, so I guess the idiocy is universal with TV Genres...

As long as the Kings of Wrestling angle comes down to Hall and Nash doing some J-O-Bs to Monty, Styles et al, I've got no problem with it. Probably not gonna happen though.

Team Jew stood out pretty well. Sadly, they jobbed right out of the gates. Reading TV Guide today, Phil said that there a couple of rule changes, and that we'd have to watch to see them. I didn't see them here, but I might guess that there'd be time penalties for people that sped a bit too much. Also, I hope that the Yield is dead and gone.

Sucks, but at least we don't have to differentiate the two NY teams.

The fiancee has given me the cold shoulder at times. That's about as close as I've gotten...

Meanwhile, on Dream Job, one of the finalists managed to work "Donna Martin graduates" into his report. I'm not sure whether that's a plus of a minus... ...and feel really sorry for Victoria. Johnathan is a world class ass...
-
I'm kinda digging Team Token Old Couple and Team Token Parent/Child, but they are so screwed later on...
-
They're really trying to paint all the teams as asses so far. I'll probably root for the Danish Mormons for now...
-
Yea..same chick I was talking about lol. Either Hayden or Aaron...I'm guessing Hayden. Well, they're Team Jugs now...
-
You would've loved Team Midget last year. They were the team we loved to hate.

Got Friends season 8, the ECW DVD and Sliders. And I'll probably need to sell some of my PPV DVDs to compensate...
-
Lol...even gayer is that guys hair. And the really sad part? His wife is a playmate and he wants to play with the musclebound wrestler...

United and AA suck. Continental rules. (bias alert: I may work for one of the above airlines)

They've done two in a calendar year before (2 & 3)... Basically what LPM said. Part of the appeal is that most people WANT to be able to travel to many different places, and you look at this and think to yourself "Self, not only could I do this, but I'd actually have a blast doing so". You'll also notice that while there are alliances, they're generally quite temporary, and typically have very little impact on who goes home. Probably no Sawyer-type on the show though. Sorry. And man, Bolo's blown up faster than Billy Gunn...

George and Steinbrenner are meeting each other????!!!!???? I knew Steinbrenner had lost it but this? Wouldn't it be more productive to clone one of his players as opposed to himself?
-
Well, if the presale is $28, I'm sure it'll actually be around the $30 mark when it does come out...

Probably the same reason You Can't Do That On Television (another brilliant Canadian show, but in a very different way) isn't on DVD - they'd probably have to pay royalties to a lot of production people, and either a) they don't want to do that, or b) they're hard to track down. To quote The Sports Guy: The lesson, as always, is I'm an idiot... Link to TVShowsOnDVD.com

It is funny how it's so relatively close to where they found Troy. Or maybe not, I guess.

Third Annual SmartMark's Video Game Awards!
starvenger replied to Lightning Flik's topic in Video Games
Seeing as TSM is primarily a wrestling board, maybe we should make a separate category for them, just because.
