Another artist. Drew Captain America for a while during the Gruenwald run among other things.

What's that, about 1.5 hits a game? Not as easy as it sounds, I think.

Frankly, I think that Trump was kinda petty with that firing. He's admitted himself that he's done stupid things, and then he fires someone who did something he thought was stupid. Not detrimental to the team losing, mind you, but something stupid nonetheless. (And before you ask, no, I wouldn't have done it. But I'm not exactly a cocky guy) I totally understand what Bradford was trying to do. Waiving the exemption was planned on his part, because a leader should always share some of the responsibility. Anyways, the upshot is that Bradford took a risk. Trump thought it was too much of one, fired him and the women are now screwed until the corporate reshuffling. (edit: unspoilered now that anyone on the west coast has seen it)

BTW, semi-interesting factoid was that Kieron Dwyer is his son. I had no idea...
-
Well, why have two useless guys when you can get three?
-
I hope they do. But really, only Alanis knows for sure.
-
OK, so he still doesn't particularly care for it. Still, he's probably tearing his beard out with Lobdell's tongue-in-cheek version of the team...

Perfect waste of Lobot, The Black Fleet Crisis was. The thing I like now is that Del Rey seems to have a much better handle on the Star Wars EU than Bantam ever did. Even if the book isn't all that great (the recent Alan Dean Foster novel comes to mind), they try to make sure that it's not a paint-by-numbers story. I can't say that it makes me vomit, but like I said, the Callista "trilogy" wasn't very good. Also sad to say, that middle book (can't remember the name, but it wasn't by Anderson) was even worse. To throw in a comics comparison, Thrawn is Doom. Without the pathological need to be the absolute monarch over everything.

Has there even been a Team Mexico for the last 2 months or so?
-
Well, the CBC didn't waste any time...

Hmm, that's kinda petty. Salvatore was kinda told to off him by the editors, so don't shoot the messenger on that one. Besides, they wanted to kill Luke initially. Anyways, Salvatore has a good sense of describing swordplay, and it's showed in the two books he's written. Anthony's Xanth series has devolved into total crap btw. His fan-friendly attempt at sticking as many puns into the book as he can has hurt any kind of story that he's trying to tell. His other Incarnations and Adept series hold up pretty well though. And I need to reread Bio of a Space Tyrant one of these days. I cut Kevin J Anderson some slack because the stuff he's developed on the comics side of things (like the whole Sith mythology) is quite good. Jedi Academy was fine, but his bookends for the "Callista trilogy" were pretty bad. I've heard that "The Ruins of Dantooine" was a total load. When the people at theforce.net hate your novel, it's got to be hella bad. But from what I personally own, the worst novels are KW Jeter's "The Bounty Hunter Trilogy" and Vonda McIntyre's "The Crystal Star". The first is a lesson on how to make Boba Fett boring, the second is an example of taking a story and trying to shoehorn it into the Star Wars Universe.

The Salary Cap works in the NFL so well because of the Billion doallar TV deal. And I will bet you my house the players will strike next time around in the NFL Because they are getting raped by the owners. They're just about to extend the labor deal (which they've done repeatedly the last few years), and I don't exactly think you can say Peyton Manning or TO's gotten raped here. On paper, they seem to be well off, but football contracts are not guaranteed, and it's highly unlikely that either Peyton Manning or Terrell Owens will see their contracts to the end.

Ben Affleck to Host Season Premiere of SNL

Wonder if they'll follow up on that last "Bahston Teens" sketch... -
Heh, 2/5 of the "Lethal Foes" of Spider-Man are on that team... Can Hydro-Man, Shocker and Boomerang be far behind?
-
In case you weren't aware ASM#50 is the issue where Parker dumps his Spidey suit in the trash. However, the presence of this Fortieth Anniversary Collection on CD-ROM makes me think that the standard SE will be sufficient...
-
Personally I think it's because espn.com considers it verboten to make light of rape (or alleged rape). Why this wouldn't apply to things like murder I've no idea (both are appalling) but that's what it seems like to me.
-
Dave is also apparently the subject of Alanis' song "You Oughtta Know", which frankly is quite disturbing...
-
So, does anyone else think that one "Redneck Messiah" would be a good fit in TNA?
-
ESPN Page 2 has a humour article about what is being said "behind closed doors". Shockingly, it's actually funny. Sometimes... I like the ones making fun of Bettman and Selig the most.

All I know is that DDDVD said that my order shipped, and that it's widescreen, so I hope there's no fuckup...

Well, seeing as Bernie Mac isn't using that doggone word anymore, someone has to carry the goddamn torch... Actually, yes it does. Otherwise we might forget that he's Asian. I'm shocked that he doesn't just come out dressed in Yellow Fellow gear... I enjoyed the grovelling actually, and what basically seemed like a rib on Ralphie May (whose father died, you know. Not that he would ever play that card to gain sympathy votes). Like I said, Mordal is the best of Season 1. Vos can be brilliant, but not always. And like I said, she didn't use it last week... WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WIT YOU? Sorry, couldn't resist...

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you're a fan of Detroit or some other team that's won the Cup recently. Otherwise...
-
Yeah, he kinda imploded. I can't believe that C&C were shocked at being Yielded. They're clearly the best team left, they just came off winning their 3rd consecutive leg, and IT'S A FRICKING RACE. I had read spoilers about 4 teams going to Banff, but I had thought that that was just the "ghost teams" tactic that the producers apparently use for the Race, and that one of the teams was already eliminated. I guess it's a four-way dance...
-
And the funny thing is that all three teams had the agreement to Yield C&C. But they don't know that...
-
Bump. That look on Colin's face was priceless...
