    Last Comic Standing 3

Rob Cantrell and Tammy Pescatelli are gone. You know, if Tammy had showed cleavage like she did this week, MAYBE she'd have had more of a chance of staying...

Dave Mordal 8.5/10 - Bitterness rules. Kathleen Madigan 7/10 - Good stuff, as usual. Predictions to go: Dat Phan and ANT

    Last Comic Standing 3

Next two: Dat Phan 6/10 - Surprisingly solid set from Dat. It wasn't incredibly funny, but the role reversal stuff was done well. I gotta say though, he does the worst fake Asian accent ever. It was the equivalent of believing that Kwang was Asian. ANT 4/10 - His first joke was funny, then he did the Hitler thing and it was downhill from there. The recycled jokes weren't funny the first time, and they didn't get better this time around.

    Last Comic Standing 3

OK, the first four were pretty good: Sean Kent 6.5/10 - Much better than 2 weeks ago John Heffron 10/10 - I think I should just give Heffron and Bodden 10s and work the scale down from there. Geoff Brown 7/10 - Apparently this is the grovelling segment of the show. I like how Brown plays off of some aspect of the competition Todd Glass 8/10 - Hey, it was funny.

    More Fantasy Football Questions

As The Man in Blak said, dump Pollard for Johnson. Johnson is a great dump option for the QB in SF and he'll get you points every once in a while.

    Power Rangers: Dino Thunder

You know, I read comics, I listen to top 40/AAA music, I've got a shitload of Transformers and I watch shows meant for kids. And I enjoy it. I embrace my inner geek, and honestly, I don't care what others think (except my fiancee, for obvious reasons) about something I like. And if you want to poke fun at me for it, as long as it's all in good fun, and you accept that I may do the same thing in return, it's all good.

    Impact taping for 9/14 cancelled...

Just remember, a clipshow is still technically a new show, and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see that.

    Power Rangers: Dino Thunder

The fact that cartoons are coming from Japan is really just part of a larger trend where everything Japanese gets imported over here - video games, electronics, baseball players, bukakke etc. That's pretty much me as well. Lurk around there, and post mostly in pop culture. As for Power Rangers, if you don't like it, hey, no biggie. Just remember that that doesn't automatically mean that it sucks, or that noone watches it.

My breakdown of the TNA roster

Good stuff. Let me add some thoughts here (and bear in mind that I don't get PPV): To me his (apparently self-requested) move back to the X-division is in some ways a step back. Yes, this is where most of the competition (and talent) is in TNA but in order to be considered a true "player" he has to make a clean break and stay in the heavyweight ranks. Build the title around him and get some more heavyweights so that it doesn't look like the same 4 guys (JJ, Hardy, Truth, Monty) every week. Maybe it was because of the surgery but Red seems to be the heir apparent to Sabu - a spot machine that is there to get the crowd into the matches. Don't think that Brown wrestles well, but he's in his mid-30s, has the look, the mic skills and looks like he's having a blast, so why not push him? If he were in the WWE he'd have the IC/US strap, but I think he's fine where he is in TNA. Also, I'm VERY glad he got rid of the cheetah trunks. Waste of space, except when they're used in the role of Killings' posse. More on Killings later. Honestly, I just don't see it. Maybe it's the lack of charisma or something. Break the team up and find better partners, I say. I actually like Test. But that may be because without him, we're subjected to guys like Tomko, Heidenreich and Horshu. Dallas is the same way - he makes Eric Watts look skilled. Speaking of which... He sucks. I mean, he tries, but he sucks. Hardy is good and bad. Good because he's a "name" and if they promote him enough maybe they can get some more viewers. Bad because he's never been that good, and his time back in TNA has shown that. Yes, he's good at taking crazy bumps, but he's never really progressed beyond that. I'd say that they should have AJ turn on him but that might make AJ the face. One note jokes, although Shark Boy does have some skills. They're fine exactly where they are - as enhancement talent. Totally dropped the ball with him. The role of top heel manager is filled quite capably by D'Amore. Hopefully he pops up on those Survivor ads and gives Rupert a chairshot. OK I have no idea how Nicho is allowed to be Psychosis and LA Park isn't allowed to be La Parka, but aside from that, hey I can't complain. More of these two is a good thing. Like I've said before, all I've seen of Killings has been in tag matches, and what I've seen hasn't been very good. Then again, he was in matches with 3 Live Cru, so there you go. Let me see him in solo competition before saying more. Please, go away. Best heels in TNA. They've done a good job in putting together guys with diverse styles into one unit. And I've always enjoyed D'Amore as a heel, whether it be in TNA, BCW or even on Off The Record.

    New Women's Wrestling Game

I really don't care if it seems like David McLane is creating the characters so long as the gameplay doesn't suck. Bottom line is that the game needs to be like DOA Beach Volleyball (since they're going for the cheesecake) - create a good game first, then concentrate on the T&A.

    NBA Offseason News and Moves

I don't think that this deserves it's own topic (since an NBA player getting arrested isn't exactly news) but the headline itself is unintentionally hilarious...

    NHL Off-Season Thread...

The answer for me is yes and yes. Hockey on Saturdays, like football on Sundays, becomes something you simply watch that day. I still have a hard time adjusting to not watching HNiC down here in Houston actually. And I will still support the NHL, because I think that the game still deserves the support of the fans. Those that are left, anyways.

    Switching Team Affiliation

I think that if you try flip-flopping between the two in Chicago you'll get beaten, lit on fire, robbed, stabbed and shot. And then they'll get mad at you.

    Switching Team Affiliation

I've always liked the 49ers... BUT (and you knew there was a but) I couldn't in good conscience call them "my" team (even during the good years) because I've never really gotten into football until a couple of years ago. I still hate the Bills though.

Bulk was on the Terra Venture on Lost Galaxy, and eventually came back to earth and opened a juice bar. Skull joined him on that venture. And so far as I know, Paul "Bulk" Schrier is still doing some directing, but he also does computer colouring for comic book The Red Star

    Last Comic Standing 3

Having now seen all the season 1 guys, I think that Mordal is the best one there. I'd give him an outside shot of winning it all.
