They shoulda made the annoying little puke the villain. I think most people would buy that.

I think he's done that in Denver. And in the CFL - because everyone knows that if you were a kicker in the CFL you're automatically good... ...OK, not really, although KC was definitely trying to prove that theory by having Tynes try to boot a 63 yarder...

I believe the unwritten rules state that it's OK to cheer for the Panthers unless they're playing the Bucs. Of course, if you denounce everything related to the Bucs, you may be in the clear to root for the Panthers, but you might need to consult The Sports Guy, TMQ and MMQB on that one...

Have I meantioned that I hate the massive amount of time both guys take with the kick? That being said, I have to say that Booker's has looked good as of late, probably because it looks like it CONNECTS. I totally agree with Killings being a different guy from Booker, but with Killings being a feature guy in TNA and Booker being a feature guy in WCW the comparisons are inevitable. Once again, every match that I've seen of him on Impact has been a tag, so maybe he is better in singles, but I haven't seen that yet.

The extended Boardroom on Saturday helped shed more light on things, I think. For instance, it seemed like Trump is looking for any excuse to fire Raj, and why Andy was chosen for the boardroom.

Madrox and New X-Men. And just so I know, where can I find scans of Identity Crisis (to tide me over until I get the TPB)?

I suppose that there's an outside chance now that someone will pick up the Valiant Comics characters...

It's more like Rickey Henderson actually. He keeps coming back, but you just wish that he'd go away.

Technically he did against ?, but since there was a penalty on the play, it didn't count and he barely made the rekick. And TMQ does indeed rule. He and MMQB (Peter King) are both great reads.

Yeah, but it felt good to type it.

I had a feeling he was gonna miss. He was kicking erratically earlier in the game.

...and in related news, IGN DVD is a shitty site.

The actor's name was Ricardo something, I think. His character was Cole Evans. Wild Force's characters were hideously cut and paste. The smart Asian, the bitchy military chick, the kid out to prove himself, the strong but gentle guy (who shockingly was Hispanic instead of black) and the Tarzan boy-turned-leader. Not that Lightspeed Rescue was much better, mind you. Well, it WAS during Wild Force, and let's face it, Cole needed the rub.

Still, the best X-book currently out there is District X, and Madrox (by Peter David) looks to be pretty good as well.

To be honest, I don't know what it means. Booker seems to be totally unmotivated nowadays.

From the review, it's Black King in the reveal and (as seen above) Joey Lawrence in the ghost image. It MIGHT tie in with something in ep III, but I suppose that only Lucas knows. that's joey lawrence??? damn i need a better monitor... I hope you were joking about my joke...

So basically, Whedon hasn't actually produced a full script by himself that's made it untouched to the screenplay. I hope Marvel Films has David Hayter and David Goyer on speed dial...

I think he's always had the promo skills and the charisma, but never got to show it in the WWE. And if he's improved in the ring, I haven't seen it yet. Granted, all I've seen of him is in tag matches on Impact, but what I've seen is the same old stuff he was doing on Metal/Velocity with a shitty axe kick as a finisher.

It looks like it's now "Greedo shoots first - barely" which at least makes some sense. Colours look better as well in those screenshots. And Jabba looks, well good. And it doesn't seem like anyone's complaining about the new shots of Ian McDermid in those Empire stills. I think this is what you're talking about (includes reviewer's theory on the dialogue)? I should note that the Emperor alteration also involves a change in the scene's dialogue - one that is at first confusing. The Emperor now tells Vader that he has no doubt "the young rebel who destroyed the Death Star" is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker, to which Vader replies "How is that possible?" That doesn't seem to make sense, because we know that Vader is aware of who Luke is from dialogue earlier in the film ("That's it. The Rebels are there. And I'm sure Skywalker is with them."). I suspect, however, that we'll find out in Episode III that Anakin DOES learn of Luke's existence as an infant, and he hides this knowledge from the Emperor. What that would mean is that Vader's been waiting all these years to find Luke as an adult and turn him to the Dark Side so that they can overthrow the Emperor together - a plot Vader ultimately confesses to Luke at the end of Empire. We'll have to wait for Episode III to see how this new bit of dialogue fits in.

Imagine if they had that rule with the Press Your Luck guy...

Time Force was probably the only good season during the "everyone wears the same clothes all the time" era. The story was actually quite good. Wild Force (the last one filmed in the US) was bad except for 3 eps: the Time Force crossover (2 pts) and Forever Red. Both of which are on the Ultimate Rangers, I think. Lameass vests instead of the Gaoranger jackets. Craptastic catchphrases ("Never geeve up!", "I'm not a kid!"). A Red Ranger who was a piss poor actor (even by Power Ranger standards). The minifro. At least the morphers were a neat idea, although the name - Growl phones - kinda negates that. It makes me glad there was no crossover with Ninja Storm. Although the Japanese crossover was pretty swank.

Whedon fans will tell you that it was, but the fact still remains that he still wrote it. He also wrote Toy Story - and last I checked - that was a pretty big success. Yes he did, which is why I said I'm waiting for the script before damning him to hell...

Whedon fans will tell you that it was, but the fact still remains that he still wrote it. To be honest, Morrison's later stuff was crap that devalued the stuff he did at the beginning. Magneto as Xorn was had the shock factor but not much else. Astonishing HAS been pretty good through four issues, and I'd compare it to the beginning of Morrison's run in terms of quality. Not the best ever (that honour still belongs to the Claremont/Cockrum/Byrne era) but one of the best in recent memory. All this, of course, means jack shit in terms of creating X3. The guy writes movie scripts, so I'll have to see what he comes up with first before condeming him to Friday nights on Fox...

You know, Storm was at her most interesting when she had no powers and the mohawk...
