I'd agree, if it weren't for the ranting and raving. Over here, I don't think the police would think twice about throwing you into the pokey overnight to cool off, so I thought that officer was very lenient in dealing with Colin. I do agree with you that Colin took into account how much time he had to plead his case, but the way he went about it was just wrong. Actually, I think that this team is the only one who hasn't had money problems (The Twins were also thrifty, but of course they were robbed at Checkpoint). But remember that the money given to teams at the beginning of the leg is considered to be enough for that leg, so paying the $100 wasn't a make-or-break issue. Unless you're dishing out $20 tips to the cab driver, the ticket agent, the guy at the fast food counter...

Well, here's the thing. Colin entered into a verbal agreement to pay $100 for what apparently was a 2 hour ride (a price, btw, that all the other teams paid). At the end, Colin and Colin alone decided that it was unsafe, therefore he gave the guy $50. And later he tried to change his story, AND started yelling at the police. If this were in the US, do you think he would've gotten away with as much as he did? He's really lucky that he wasn't thrown in jail because he was stubborn. Anyways I don't think the taxi driver is innocent of wrongdoing (2 hours on a doughnut? Niiiiice), but Colin isn't clear of fault either. Sure, he might have a case, but if he wants to forfeit the Race to save $50, then go right ahead. Ultimately, he made the right decision in "handing over" the money and walking away. Probably the smartest thing he did that episode.

This reminds me of when a bunch of my dormmates wer watching Batman: TAS back in university. It was an episode with Catwoman, and about 2/3 of the way in my roommate burst out, "Actually her (Catwoman's) assistant isn't too bad either... what the fuck am I saying?" Well, it was funny at the time...

Wasn't he also Agent Baker on 24? Wipes away the foul taste of the now-scrapped Superman script, does it? I never really got into Alias, but I like the premise. I'm a sucker for Savage Land-type stuff (loved Ka-Zar and Warlord as a kid)

On a second viewing Cory's first half was good, but I think the gay story killed it for me.

And, going home are... Cory Kahaney and Jessica Kirson, to the shock of probably noone... From today, I'd say that Tere and Corey go home...

I actually thought Glass' set was pretty good yesterday actually, but not as funny as my top 3. Anyways, Season 2 had the most total votes. The other 10 comics are performing today. So far: Tere - 3/10. Wow, that was almost the exact opposite of funny Jay London - 7/10. And Jay does a similar set, and does it a lot better. Rob Cantrell - 2/10. I take that back. This was worse. Corey Holcomb - 3/10. That gay story... what the fuck was that? Weak weak WEAK so far. And since Dat Phan is next, don't expect that to change... (edit) Dat Phan - 5/10. Stereotypes are played, but they're his strength. Best part - Jay mocks Dat Phan after his set. Gary Gulman - 5/10. Weak set from the cookie monster. It looked like he was just getting warmed up when his 2 minutes were up. (edit 2) Geoff Brown - 6.5/10. I DON'T KNOW WHY HE'S ALWAYS SHOUTING, BUT I LIKED HIS SET. Kathleen Madigan - 8/10. I think that was her best set ever on LCS. But then again, mocking the president is generally pretty funny. (edit 3) Sean Kent - 6/10. Funny, but kinda blah ANT - 6.5/10. Since they're not going strictly heads up against Mordal I'd have to agree. He's the only one from Season 1 I found to be very good. However since we're voting for one of ten people there's a chance that a great comic could end up going home (see Idol, American).
