Bump. Article from Zap2it.com You gotta love the fact that even the writer can't hide his contempt for Flo...

Francis looks reaaaaaaaal happy to be there, doesn't he? I think that's almost his "I can't believe Vancouver drafted me" face... OK, the Rockets now have Ewing (who I hate), McGrady (who I kinda hate since he ditched Toronto) and they may get Derek Fisher (who I loathe). If they get Eric Snow as well, I'm leaving Houston...

Off The Record owns all. Get Zach Selwyn to host a clone of that and you've got a winner... -
Never mind that - the Leafs resigned Aki Berg!! You might as well give us the Cup now!!

Too bad it didn't come out in time for the DeepDiscountDVD summer sale, eh?

Check it out on Newsarama I'd be interested to see this come back over to this continent just to compare. I wonder how this will connect with the masses over there though...

Tony K. called Ken Jennings a dickweed.

Rosie Perez would do two things on Jeopardy! - Nothing and Like it. (I know, it's an old joke). Now Rosie Perez' CHARACTER from White Men Can't Jump (Gloria?) would kick ass... -
This is partially because NBC will air things on tape delay, so there's no point in watching if you can see highlights before they happen. During the Salt Lake City Olympics Rogers Sportsnet in Canada had the same issues, as TSN and CBC shared exclusivity on highlights. So Sportsnet reported the results and showed "highlights" from, well, just about anything else. Absolutely hilarious...

I think this was taped before The Apprentice aired, so Ambrosia is more based on your usual self-centered type than anything else. Ralph has very quickly become one of my favourite hosts - but maybe it's because we get to hear his "confessionals". That's pretty much it. You want to find someone who will have doubts about the game, and push the bounds of believability. Matt Gould was a real find, as you could see that he had some notions there, but he was so "in the zone" that he never really followed up on them. The problem with Ingrid is that she hasn't entered that "zone" and so is following up on her suspicions. Or maybe the problem is that Ingrid's a woman, and they're more naturally suspicious about these things than we men are... -
Got this from TVShowsOnDVD.com

I've got a couple on my phone, mainly because the regular rings on it suck!! It's apparently too much to ask for a ring that sounds like, well, a ring. So naturally, I downloaded "Born Slippy" by Underworld...

Good luck, man. I've always found that Saturday noon matinees are the best time to watch a movie if you're not a fan of crowded theatres...

Provincially, I voted PC, and the guy I voted for (Frank Klees) is still my MPP. The provincial Liberals don't have a fucking clue, and apparently still haven't learned from the Peterson government. Bob Rae is a nice enough guy, but his term as Premier was disastrous, and showed that the NDP methodology isn't very good on a provincial level in Ontario. I think Klees is going to make a run for Tory leadership, so we'll see how that goes. Federally, we still don't know a lot about the Conservative Party, since they're still trying to find their legs. But I'd think that you'd fall back on what's familiar to you and for Harper that's his Reform/"Alliance" roots. I'm not a big fan of Martin either, so for me the decision came down to voting for who was running in my riding. That guy happened to be a Liberal who has a long history with the riding going back to his days as a councilman, he's still the MP (by a wide margin), and I'm comfortable with that. By the next election though, I'll probably be in a different riding, so I'll be taking a good look at how the Conservatives stack up.

Man, I hope not. I hate Fisher, even more than I hate Ewing...

Well, since they're not looking for him to score, I think he'll be OK. Either that or he's just the latest on the list of stiffs the Raptors have had at centre - Zan Tabak, Michael "Yogi" Stewart, TAFKA Hakeem Olajuwon...

Yao passes, T-Mac shoots. And if that doesn't happen, well, Macgrady will want out.

Still... the TBC deserves a "YOU BASTARDS!!" And if Ambrosia somehow goes, I will be extremely shocked... (edit)...and one other thing. The dropping "thinks it's real" subtitle - culminating in "We're Screwed" - was pretty funny. -
Something to think about, but Osgood has won the Cup. Lalime, well... where's that beachball picture?

I don't suppose anybody's watching right now? Anyways, I gotta say that, while he's no Hutch, TJ is doing a pretty good job in the perv role... -
I can't believe that Layton is beating Mills by 800 votes...
-
Hey, as a province we've been fucked over by the NDP and are rather distrustful of the Reform party, so what did you expect? Reform will get their votes back out west anyways.

Nothing wrong with distilled water - I just have an aversion to it from drinking home-distilled water in Hong Kong when I was younger... Dasani, Aquafina and Deja Blue all use water from local sources, as far as I know.

Centurions were an 80's cartoon. Derivative plots actually (such as stuff being underwater so that Max Ray could have something to do) and there was the usual gaps in logic, but I loved the powerups to walking aresnals...

Hurts to say it, but it's true. I still think Carter's a star, but he's not a guy who can carry a whole franchise - he needs another person to help carry the load. I'm thinking that the Raps should build around Bosh.
