I may pick up the TPB but for now $4 is just too damn much for me to spend. Food for thought: How is this going to affect "I Can't Believe It's Not The Justice League"?

For me the answer is simple - I'm judging shows that have had an impact during the time that I've been watching television. All in the Family, I Love Lucy, The Flintstones et al were all "before my time" so I'm not including them. I won't deny the impact they've had on television though. Speaking of shows, I have to add this one: Sesame Street. I can't believe that it slipped my mind.

Too late. The first game of the second biggest football tournament in the world, facing probably the best team in the world and being the most over-rated and over expectant football country in the world. Yeah. Pretty real. Hmph. Didn't realize that the Euro Cup was already starting. But then, I've been watching hockey and hoops...

You wouldn't happen to live in Central Ohio and be subjected to commercials from Ricart, would you? Nope, Houston. But I'm from Toronto, so I've been subjected to years of Mayor Mel saying "Noooooooobody!!!" for his kid's furniture stores...

Wait a sec... is this a real match or is just a friendly?

What do you mean, EVERY show? I mean Transformers didn't... oh, wait, Chip Chase. Well WCW certainly never... huh? Firebreaker Chip? But then there's Married... With Children, right? Whaddaya mean, Charles "Chip" Esten was a guest star? Hmm... I guess you're right.

Morn ruled it. I'm just going over the "modern" era. Cheers - yeah, like you didn't know. In that vein... The Cosby Show + Family Ties + Cheers + Night Court = Must See TV - Nuff said. Friends - there are definitely influences from Cheers on the show, but it helped usher in an era of ensemble sitcoms where everyone was young and (generally) single. And all of those clones sucked. Star Trek: The Next Generation - Action/Sci-fi/Fantasy syndicated shows owe a debt of thanks to Trek. Possibly the most popular syndicated show of all time. Survivor - If this show doesn't pull in the ratings that it did, we wouldn't have this boom in reality/unscripted television, including stuff like the World Poker Tour and TLC's programming. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire - Don't think it had an impact? ABC's fall to fourth place network can probably be traced back to 4-5 nights of Regis...

The critics just LOVE ripping Vince, don't they? Play for your country... or say "I do" to the one you love? Yeah, tough decision there.

Hmm, I just read on another site that one of the cousins is a "little person". Now THAT should be interesting if they stick around for awhile...

Those ads not only made me avoid the Noid, but Dominoes as well. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Dominoes has some of the worst "big chain" pizza around (you haven't had bad until you've had Hungry Howies)

He was the only good thing in Speed 2. And he was a perfect Norman Osborn. A natural at being creepy. Richard Belzer - I still can't believe that this guy was a comedian. Colm Feore - At some point he'll get a role where people will see why he was the fricking man at the Stratford Festival in Ontario.

Nike at one time had a contract with some teams - Lakers, Mavs and Raptors among them. Presumably they still do for some colleges, but the point is that they redesigned the "shape" of the jerseys to look more like a "muscle shirt". Reebok now has an "exclusive" contract for the pro jerseys, and have tried to retain the styles that the teams had previously. This doesn't account for teams like the Rockets and Pistons which just came out with new jerseys.

Now that I think of it Bianca was the actor's name. But anyways she's more like the Lisa during the Tori eps, where they actually spent some time developing the character. Vicky was kind of a goofy, bubbly chick. The closest analogue I can come up with is Steph on California Dreams (idealism) crossed with Kimmi from Full House (weirdness)... -
I suppose... but I don't watch Big Brother. I'll find out whether Alison is as bad as her rep though during The Amazing Race. She can't possibly replicate the universal hate that people have for Zack's partner in TAR 3 though...

Well, except for his brief "Big Wiggle" dance. Or it could be "Riding the Pony". Either way, it's kinda creepy. Plus it pays royalties to the Vengaboys, and I can't say that that's a good thing. The Gap commercials where they swing dance were great. Everything else they've done have plaed in comparison. Soft spot in my heart for the "Whassup?" ads. Yeah, they got old, but admit it - you loved them when they first came on. I don't particularly care for the local drop-in ads. They're fine when they're to the point, but when they try to "act" and parody something that's popular (i.e. The Apprentice), it's Lita-level horrid. The ads I REALLY hate are the "name actor reads a letter from a DirectTV subscriber". Although it WAS nice to see Joan Cusak crawl out from the rock she was hiding under...

There's also The Ref and The Usual Suspects. Thought his SNL show was pretty good too...

Asians that kick ass on "reality" TV: - Shii Ann Huang from Survivor - Dorothy Hui from The Mole 2 Asians that don't: - Dat Phan - Daniel Lue from Survivor

Maybe it's just me, but I can't get any of the codes to take... Nevermind, I found this over at the DVDTalk message boards: So if you got your order in, great. If not, you're SOL and stuck with the pretty decent prices that DDDVD already has...

I'm reading the recaps, and I'm shocked - SHOCKED I say - that a panel with Colin Quinn AND Rich Vos on it moved Jim Norton into the next round. Comedians I've heard of that made it: Bonnie McFarland Jim Norton Sue Costello

Let's see... Bianca (Lisa), Weasel (Screech), Scott (Zack), Tommy D (Slater), Natalia Ciglutti's character (Kelly) and Vicky Needleman (N/A) -
This is just a retarded statement. Christopher Walken owns you in every way possible. Don't believe me? Rent Suicide Kings. If I had ovaries... and a vagina, I would have Walken's children I was just thinking of how that would sound in a Walkenesque voice... and I was very frightened...

Heath Ledger? Paul Bettany?

Whoopi's disturbing lack of eyebrows bother me. Aside from that... well, she had more personality on TNG than Crusher, Troi and Pulaski combined. Not that that's actually SAYING much mind you, but still... I don't HATE her, y'know?

Same thing with my riding. We reelected MPP Frank Klees (PC), and it's likely that MP Byron Wilfert (Lib) will be reelected as well since he's quite well known locally...
