Well, if they ever get another chance, I hope that Iginla remembers this one thing - never, EVER touch the conference championship trophy...

It was Spike's most successful non-Raw show, so I'm not surprised. btw, for all those Canadians out there, Jonothan Torrens of Jonovision and Street Cents fame will be on the show... -
The Covers To Marvel Comic Books Looking The Same
starvenger replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Literature
Don't know if you were joking or not but, this is the cover to issue #3. http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/040...ledeadpool3.htm I'll be damned... -
I've taken a quick scan through it, and it seems to tell you the whole story, so I'd say... DON'T DO IT!!

The Covers To Marvel Comic Books Looking The Same
starvenger replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Literature
I can't believe that you'd insinuate that the early Spawns HAD a story. Frankly, if he hadn't had those issues with Sim, Gaiman, Miller and Moore(?) I don't think he'd have a clue as to how to carry the "story" any further than he had already. [/sarcasm] -
Since I didn't read Excalibur, I got no answer. Let's try this: the High Evolutionary has cloned cells of Magneto when he was deaged to an infant, and managed to recreate Magneto using those cells plus those of Joseph that happened to be lying around.

The Covers To Marvel Comic Books Looking The Same
starvenger replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Literature
Well, the Cable and Deadpool covers all looking the same can be attributed to a certain "artist's" ability to draw only a few poses. I am shocked, though, that we haven't gotten a pose where Deadpool's mask is ripped and he's gritting/gnashing his teeth... It seems like most comics actually go for the "movie poster" look. I suppose that it in part would be because so many books have a designated "cover artist" who draws whatever, but may not actually match up with the story inside. But for others, I've got no clue. I'll have to go back through my box, but I think that FKAT Justice League had blurbs on the covers. And stuff like Alpha Flight and She-Hulk NEED those blurbs, given their status as "humourous" comics. -
Not a problem.

i KNEW Mario Lopez was gay! I think he's just stupid. Apparently he banged the stripper/hooker during/after his bachelor party. Of course, if Landry found out about it, it means that someone broke "the code"... They are called teh Pappa-Nazi or the whores of tabloid newspaper and tv. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thanks for pointing out logic when all I was doing was making a snarky comment...

You're right. I've edited my post to reflect the spoilers...

Hmmm, same thing here. I don't normally visit aicn, but Moriarty's review would've been worth looking at.... (edit) Oh, wait, got it. I wish they'd change the look of the site though. A 10-year old could make a better website. Here's the link.

If Terry Dodson draws, the fans do!!

A few theories: - If Sean Connery can do it in Highlander 2, why not Magneto? - Doombot - Duct tape. Lots of duct tape... - Morrison's run never existed. Except for Jean dying (again), White Queen and Cyclops hooking up, secondary mutations...

I could see Lesnar going to the CFL, if he's serious about developing his skills...

thats giving it quite some time, I give it until October. I'll say right around the election, because as we all know people shouldn't focus on an election when Jennifer Lopez is around. And how sad is it when President Reagan dies and this makes headlines?

Before anyone says that "it was on 200 years ago" I should point out that ICA just started airing on Food Network Canada, so it's new to Canadians (unless you're like me and happen to live in Houston) Anyways, the shows were pretty good, aside from the results which I won't spoil for you (I'm assuming you've only seen Flay vs Sakai). I hear they're making new episodes, which should be a lot of fun, especially if they can get another PBP and replace Kevin Brauch on the floor. I'd all be for getting Rachel Ray in there somehow...

Which Voltron team? Lions or Vehicle? Actually, it doesn't matter. Hand-to-hand, G-Force wins handily. In their Mecha, either Voltron in a landslide.

I guess that's one of the problems. Magneto has been shown, time and time again, to be the antithesis of Xavier, and it has often been shown that the only way to stop Magneto is to kill him. But without Magneto around, Xavier really has noone to play off of, and frankly becomes a bit of an unlikable, boring, preachy, holier-than-thou character. So Marvel keeps bringing him back. Personally, I think that this is one of the failings of Morrison's run, although this is more of an editorial thing than anything. They gave Morrison free reign, and really, they should've stepped in when they found out what he was going to do. So instead, they have to do a retcon which may-or-may-not make sense in the end.

You know, I think they should get Jayson Williams for this show as well...

"You ask your mom 'please?' but she still says 'NO!'" Zach Selwyn (quoting the Beastie Boys), a contestant on Dream Job, when he described a save by David Abischer. Harold Ballard was always a good interview. Much like Lee Elia, there were a lot of bleeps (or one long, continuous one)...

Saved By The Bell Questions That You Asked

Well, that's good news. Odd that it's a different company releasing the DVDs though... -
Probably the family of the guy he killed, but other than that, who knows?

I hope Lou Ferrigno gets residuals off of this. It'd be nice to NOT see him at a comicon for once...
