So basically, you're saying that game developer are at fault for trying to expand their market? Here's the thing - the market that the Olsens et al target is huge, and you'd be nuts to not even ATTEMPT to make inroads into it. That's why you get the Barbie games, the Britney games and the Olsen twins games. Yes, you're not expecting the regular gaming demographic to buy this stuff, but if you can draw another market in, why not take a stab at it?

Let's see, In the Thicke Of The Night, Mike Bullard after he got thin and bitter, that show with Ralph Bemernugui (sp)... Actually, any lat night talk show with a Canadian host that isn't a sock has been pretty bad. Also, Into The Night (Rick Dees) and the show with Sinbad as host. Jon Stewart was OK, but I think he was more comfortable when he guest hosted the Late Late Show, which of course carried over into his current Daily Show gig.

Wait, what were you doing looking at Usher? I STILL feel dirty after that, but I think that we'll all have to admit that they are very nice breasts. Bob, you may have to institute a "cold shower" rating for this one.

It seems that Charlotte's expansion draft rules are slightly less bad than what Toronto and Vancouver had, I think...

None. He thinks she's ugly because of freckles, remember. LMAO @ the Harry Potter skit. best snl skit in 30 years. I felt like a dirty old man after that skit. Probably just like all the guys in that skit...

Budget considerations have me getting Exiles and Academy X for certain, and maybe Astonishing as well. I'm not exactly a Whedon mark, but I'm interested in his take on things.

And as an added bonus, the royalties go towards helping to keep Wrestlecrap.com alive. A good read. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll hurl...

I'm pretty sure that all the oil in the mullet affects your thinking. Kinda like Cherry and the high collars. But you're right, I think - it should be cal-gah-REE. (Edit) I just read that Joe Juneau is retiring, apparently to put his engineering degree to good use. You don't hear that every day...

I Love Lucy. Which is, by the way, the most popular show ever. If you want to say currently or whatever, argue amongst yourselves, I don't really care. But don't say ever. Greatest and most popular are two different things, don't forget. Precisely why I won't call it the "greatest" or "most popular" ever. Greatest is, again, a matter of opinion, and I kinda doubt it'll ever be as popular as shows like Lucy, or gain massive ratings like the finale of MASH. I should amend my statement. Spends most of a show in a box because he "stole" his roommate's girlfriend.

What about Lacey Chabert. She's come a long way from Party of Five...

And that, of course, is why the show's been on for TEN YEARS. People have kept the show on for that long because they can't relate to the characters or the storylines, and are so annoyed that they refuse to change the channel. As for original storylines, name one other show where one of the characters has been divorced 3 times and has had a kid with 2 of those divorcees (one of whom is a lesbian). Or one where a character spends most of a show in a box. Or a woman who has her brother's kids. Fact is, Friends has been one of the more original sitcoms to come down the line in quite some time. Most sitcoms have 1 or 2 lead characters. I believe that Friends was the first with SIX. And they set the tone for most of the twentysomething ensemble comedies that came afterwards. So lamest? Hardly. Greatest? A matter of opinion.

I know. Didn't Lorne Michaels produce this? Kidding. If it's doing well, then good for everyone involved.

You're right, it did. It was still a good tip though. The Flyers have been playing well this period. They need to take better advantage of Belfour's wandering, as he's been caught out of the net a few times already...

3-1 Leafs!! Very nice deflection by Tucker...

Damn. Sundin had the right idea on the breakaway, but juuuust a bit high...

I agree with that. I hate those total BS calls, even if it benefits my team. I'd also like to say that Brian Engblom has become my favourite ESPN hockey analyst simply by recounting the legend of Bill Barilko AND mentioning "Fifty Mission Cap"...

Hah!! Was reading waymoresports.com (aka Toronto Star Sports) and it's interesting to note how Quinn and Hitchcock are not saying anything bad about each other. Most of Quinn's whining/musing/complaints/etc are actually directed at Bobby Clarke. I know these guys are buddies and all, but it's the playoffs, dammit. I want more hate!!

If Exiles was a choice I'd suggest that. Bedard's apparently developed into a pretty good writer, and the art looks good too. Unfortunately, it's not, so... was New X-Men: Academy X on that list? Get that.

That's probable, seeing as decathlon isn't there either. But considering the continuous nature of the swimming, biking and running, you'd think it'd merit consideration.

Hawaiians can probably trace their ethnicity to Chinese, Japanese, Filipino and native Polynesian, so no, it's not confusing. I made a note of Camille because she had mentioned that her family immigrated to Hawaii from the Philippines...

Lionel "Big Train" Conacher isn't on there, so, no.

No triathlon? I'm surprised...

A 10.5? No, probably not. California disappearing into the ocean? Eventually - say, a few million years... Damnit, can't it happen sooner? I dunno. Tectonic plates are notoriously slow...

Jasmine's Hawaiian, not Native American. I'd have figured that the constant Hawaii references would've driven that point home, but whatever. Anyways, Final 12 breakdown was: - 6 Caucasians (Leah "LaBelle" Vladowski, Matt Rogers, Amy Adams, Jon Peter Lewis, John Stevens, Diana DeGarmo) - 4 African-Americans (Jennifer Hudson, Fantashia Barrino, LaToya London, George Huff) - 1 Hawaiian/Polynesian (Jasmine Trias) - 1 Filipina (Camille Velasco) Only 50% non-Caucasians!! Racism!! [/sarcasm]
