Any big league sports stars from your hometown?

Richmond Hill, Ontario has a couple: - The only figure skater man(?) enough to sport a mullet, Elvis Stojko - Scott Goodyear, racecar driver - "Hurricane" Helen Kelesi, tennis. Well, she's known in Canada, anyway.

    ESPN's "Playmakers"

Again, I point to McMah...er, Wilbanks. Wilbanks is the guy who's screwing Leon out of opportunities, so all the heat is transferred to him, and takes away from both DH and Leon. You really can't care too much about the two when they aren't the real focal point of the conflict...

    BATMAN casting

I don't understand this. Can't they just get the guy who played Alfred in the previous 4 movies and Birds of Prey (Michael Gough was his name?)? Still, I shouldn't complain too much. At least the rumours (this time) point to good character actors, and not flavour-or-the-month names...

People or things in sports that make you feel old

    - Monica Seles is about 3 weeks older than me, and she turns the big three-oh this year. - I remember hockey players not wearing helmets - I heard Howard Cosell on MNF - My first football memory is "The Catch" (which may explain why I'm a Niners fan) - I've been around longer than the Toronto Blue Jays. - sports movie quote: "Whata the fuck is a Chinese downhill?"

    CFL Playoffs

I think they reported Dickenson as being out for BC. Might be good news for the Argos, but I think that they'll pull another vanishing act... I'd love to see the Lions reach the Grey Cup. For some reason, I just get a kick out of a Vancouver-based team representing the EAST in a sporting final. Still, Montreal (as usual) remains the team to beat in the East.

Who is The Most complete player in the NBA

I guess it's up to his wife, singer Tamia, to bring home the bacon now. In a few years, I hope to see Yao on this list. KG is probably at the top, but still has room to improve - i.e. he needs to come through in the clutch. But this year could be the year that (loath that I am to say it) T-Mac stakes his claim up top.

    Quick FF question....

Brad Johnson is more consistent, so I'd go with him...

    ESPN's "Playmakers"

I'd wager that all this is leading to DH buying it in the last episode. The way they got Guerewitz off was about the only they could go as far as making a positive statement goes. Good thing they have McMah-er, Wilbanks around as the evil owner to do these things...

Question For The Fans of Women's Wrestling Here

Erica Porter did have a tryout match about a year ago. Others, such as Danger and Riot were doing stunts/martial arts. And I've heard that Terri Gold got some boobs. But then, she's in Cali, so it's almost SOP I guess...
  10. Because the reveal is probably coming at the end of the quarter hour...

FCC Rules "F" Word ok for primetime

So, "Fuck that bitch in the ass" is unacceptable but "fucking a" is, right?
  14. Considering that it's The New TNN/Spike TV's first true original hit I wouldn't be all that surprised. Plus it would fit nicely onto a 2-3 DVD set...
  15. That seems to be the SOP for reality game shows where they do the reveal early on and do discussion/Q&A after. So my guess is that we either see more of the "behind the scenes" of the actors doing whatever or we see more of what made Matt the Schmole...

    Most Extreme Elimination

Those people that do these challenges are nuts. Anyways, this show is a good mindless time killer. Enjoyable every time I watch it.

    New Releases For 10/21/2003

Well, they haven't, actually. I was just making the connection that if Nightcrawler's dad is Satan, then logically Hellstrom - as the son of satan - must be his (half-)brother...

    Dallas Comicon Photos

In case you were curious, here are some pictures with Star Wars actors from the Dallas comicon in Plano. Very friendly people, and in fact it seems like Anthony Daniels lives the C3PO gimmick, because I don't think he stopped talking for more than 5 seconds during his signing. I didn't get any sketches from artists. I wanted an Adam Hughes sketch, but he was charging $100 per detailed sketch, which is slightly out of my price range. His reasoning was that people were turning around and selling them for $300 on eBay, but... damn. It's a high price to pay when you're on a budget and you just want a sketch for your sketchbook. There wasn't enough time for me to get just a head sketch, either. Kinda sucked, there. Didn't dive into the bargain bins, but I did get a 1L beer stein with an Autobot logo + a Decepticon logo shot glass for $14, so all was not lost, I guess. Maybe if I hit (Evil)WizardWorld Texas, I'll look for those $.25 Unity comics...

    New Releases For 10/21/2003

Hellstrom is an old character, also known as the Son of Satan. But yeah, he did have a miniseries in the 90's and he may have ad a part in the Midnight Sons books. He's married to the Avenger/Defender Hellcat...

Yes. he was Willow. And the Leprauchaun. Amy Allen has huge knockers, especially considering she's pretty darn thin. She's from Cali though, so I suppose that may explain it (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)...
