Enterprise changed to Star Trek: Enterprise

Braga = Steph? -
I say ride the hot QB until he crashes. Plus, the Pats are a bit banged up on D, so I'd expect better numbers there as well. Bias alert: I have the Drunken Canadian Kicker in my keeper league, so of course it's in my best interest for Manning to do well, but never make it past the 20... Tough call. Bledsoe's got the receivers, but unfortunately Buffalo's running game is pretty weak. But given the Bills D, I'd still go with him. In my case, in my other league, I have Bledsoe, Brad Johnson and Fiedler, so I really have no choice in the matter. Oh, and don't take the goose egg. That's like immediately surrendering a King-8 when the dealer is showing 9. What's the point in playing the game if you're not willing to take risks?

Oh please. Baseball would never, EEEEEHVER, lie about their finances...

It's almost a running gag, but really it's just done to establish the owner as a Steinbrenner/Schoot-type asshole...

That's OK, since he's really just there to bridge topics. And to do a bad monologue that the guests can make fun of.

Enterprise changed to Star Trek: Enterprise

I'm sure that they did. But hey, I'm all for the sweeping arcs and long-term direction that the show took. That was a good thing. When did B5 start, btw? relative to ST:TNG, that is. Anyways, I caught a bit of ST:Enterprise, and it seems that they rehashed the TNG story where Geordi gets turned into an alien... -
Actually, they've had "highlight" DVDs of Survivor (1&2) and American Idol (1), plus I think they've got complete seasons of The Real World coming out. And let's not forget Tough Enough I

Unless they release BB1-3, it's not likely...

That figures.

It took me a little bit of time to remember that MuchUSA changed their name to Fuse... -
The Cougars play in "The City", where a big dumb guy in a blue suit runs around fighting crime. Or maybe they're playing in Metropolis...

The finals months of the year are upon us

The promo for Master and Commander looked great, but I'm still not all that jazzed about it. I guess that there's some intangible factor that makes me go, "no, I'm not gonna watch it". The Alamo looks to be interesting though, but that might be because I went there this summer. I'm gonna have to read up on the history, though. LotR: The Return of the King is tops on my list, and Matrix Revolutions is next. Everything else I'll play by ear. When is Troy supposed to come out '04 or '05? -
Transformers More Than Meets Eye Official Guide #6 (Of 8), $5.25 Exiles #34, $2.99 I may drop the title depending on who Marvel decides to replace Winick. I'm really pissed that he remained exclusive with DC, but hey, it's more secure than freelancing. I'd be all for more "fill-the-gaps" issues with Austen though. And is this the 4th issue in 5 weeks?

Enterprise changed to Star Trek: Enterprise

That's so true. I thought it was an hour-long infomercial for the car rental company... -
At this point it's got to be less than that - maybe 80-20 or so. With yesterday's show, the two challenges had me thinking that if Matt is working the workers, he's doing a damn good job. I mean, he legit kayoed Dr. Pat, and he was stoic even when Brian dropped trou and dry humped him. And just to further the "Matt working the workers" line of thought, the production company, Stone-Stanley, produces The Mole and Oblivious. They also produce The Man Show, so if in the future you see Molly as a Juggy...

You know, I think that Clarett is physically ready to play pro ball, but he's nowhere near ready mentally. I say let him play, and let him "get his" when he's 28, washed up, and dead broke.

It is better, with the exception of Rosario Dawson as the Eye Candy - she just isn't as Hu-licious. Anyways, the Rock was pretty good, Seann William Scott was great as the annoying guy, and Christopher Walken was... well, Christopher Walken. However he should NOT wear wifebeaters again. Ever. Action scenes were a mixed bag. They get high marks for variety (bar fight, Copieria(sp?) fighting, whips, etc), but low marks for way over-the-top wire stunts and giving Beck superhuman stamina and durability. I mean, you expect that with the action hero, but sometimes too much is too much, you know? Still, they were highly enjoyable. The story was, of course, secondary to the action scenes. Intro, Quest, Twist, Climatic Battle, Anticlimax. You really don't need to know more than that. Anyways, an easy thumbs up from me.

Tuesday, 9pm ET, but it repeats at 11pmET and seemingly 10 other times during the week.

AFC: Broncos NFC: Seahawks But (and there's always a but) it's only 3 weeks in. As everyone (on networks owned by The Mouse) keeps saying, remember the Titans.

Just because I was curious, here's the highlights of the Chicago/St. Louis/Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals: 1925 - NFL Champions, 11-2-1 1947 - NFL Champions, 9-3-0 1948 - Western Conference Champions, 11-1-0 1974 - NFC Eastern Division Champions, 10-4-0 1975 - NFC Eastern Division Champions, 11-3-0 Overall Record: 427-594-38 .403 Yep, that's it.

Yes, Mike Illitch owns both the Red Wings and the Tigers, but I think that his kids run the baseball operation. With that being said though, Detroit trademarked the name Hockeytown USA, so that may give you an idea of where baseball stands in Motown... It was when they had names like Trammell, Whitaker, Lemon and Morris playing for them.

Yeah, I could see those two yearning for The Rock.
-
That's pretty much the thinking - The Rundown will help determine whether The Rock's popularity truly transcends pro wrestling or not. I won tix for an advance screening tomorrow, so I suppose that it's already worth the cost of admission...

Falco, the Austrian guy who sang "Rock Me Amadeus"? Firefly was in the Fox timeslot of death (Fri 8pmET) but a lot of people creamed over it. Personally, I thought that the style of the show (an intergalactic western) was done better in "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs", but that's just me.
