Chinese cuisine has a drunken chicken, but it's done differently (I think it's steamed) from the fast food bourbon chicken. Bourbon chicken (at Chinese fast food counters) is BBQ chicken with some bourbon flavour to it. So, yeah, I'd say that bourbon chicken is Cajun cuisine.

My point exactly. The Rangers philosophy seems to be "the more $ you make, you'll be THAT much better than the people we already have."

Lemelin is reaching pretty far back. Moog was pretty consistent throughout his career, I think. I know that the Wings are prepared to eat Jospeh's salary, but he'll probably go to the Rangers if they can swing a decent deal. And that would probably mean that they could actually MAKE the playoffs.

While this is true, you forget that Houston STILL has a weak O line, meaning that Carr will still be looking for short passes, so I'd look for Miller to still get a lot of balls thrown his way.

Still, it takes away the major selling point of the movie. Without having tits everywhere, it's simply an extremely bad movie. The funny part is I could see Ah-nold saying that... I don't think that this was real, but Showcase in Canada used to run ads talking about their movies always running uncut (but fullscreen). They ran a clip of "Very Bad Things" where Daniel Stern is calling everybody "fuddyduddies" in place of "motherfuckers". For some reason I found that to be pretty funny.

Funny that it's at a point where Marky Mark is more famous than his NKOTB brother...

...is that four straight weeks of Exiles? Formerly Known As The Justice League #3 (Of 6), $2.50 Transformers GI Joe #1 (Of 6), $2.95 Transformers More Than Meets Eye Official Guide #5 (Of 8), $5.25 Exiles #33, $2.99 JLA Avengers #1 (Of 4), $5.95 New Mutants #4, $2.25 Uncanny X-Men #430, $2.25

The new logo looks ok, but I wish that they'd kept a maple leaf in there. Still, I don't think that there will be as much outrage as in Long Island with the Fisherman's jersey because, well, Torontonians would have to give a flying fuck about the Jays first. The Blue Jays have really failed to mean anything in Toronto since the strike, and changing their logo isn't gonna put asses in the seats.

If he could only keep his hand in one spot, then I'd say it's cool. OTOH, if he's getting a little fondling action while his hand's on her boob, then yes, he's probably an idiot.

Well, having watched a couple of eps, I'm liking the show, even if it does have tons of cliche sports players and such. Besides which, how can you hate a show that casts Joey Jeremiah as the kicker?

I actually just picked up Gary off my (2nd) league's FA pool, but right now he's my #3 or 4 RB so I'll sit on him for now and see if I can use him for trade bait...

Supposedly. It makes more sense to have an even number of teams...

I went once when I was in Windsor. Pretty cool, watching it on a big ass screen.

Hey, if they can have the International Gladiators show, why not a World Idol?

How about I just tell you some stuff about it? So far as I know, the comic revolves mostly in the SFII universe, and it's done by UDON Studios. I don't know who the lead artist is though, although I'd guess that it'd be Alvin Lee.

One of the only things better than that is going through old baseball cards and looking at the "Top Prospects". Man, baseball drafts are the biggest gamble outside of the Wheel of Fortune at a casino. Seriously, these guys are still very much kids coming out of high school, and being a "can't miss" prospect puts way too much pressure on them to perform at a pro level.

Well, it was decent, and yes, it was farfetched, but I'll watch it again. Funny to see Skydome that full for football though.

Probably DDP. Isn't Melnyk a pharmaceuticals guy? We can just switch to drug jokes then... Toronto MIGHT have beaten Ottawa, but that really depends on how much of a psychological edge the Leafs might have gotten from constantly beating the Sens in the playoffs. Still, the result would have been the same - Sens in 6 or 7.

I'd agree with that. However, Dreamwave enough business sense to do more Transformers stuff than just comics. And they're doing the right thing by building on the name recognition from TF to try and push their other books. As for lateness, well, even the vaunted Crossgen has showed cracks by shipping late (to say nothing of their cash flow problems) so I don't see that as a major problem, unless issues take 3-4 months to ship **coughultimatescough**. If it's off by a couple of weeks, I'm cool with it. But that doesn't mean that there should be some bizarre "makeup" schedule where a book comes out 3 weeks in a row...

Man, not even 5 minutes into his ownership and Bettman's holding Melnyk down. Impressive...

It amazes me that people still go to support the Raiders given their fine, upstanding ownership, who would never, EVER switch cities at the drop of a hat, or sue the current city that the teams play in...

Transformers Generation One Vol 2 #5 (Of 6), $2.95 Battle Of The Planets #12 (Of 12), $4.99 Exiles #32, $2.99 Hopefully Exiles is back on schedule...

I liked Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels better than either. If I were to choose, then I'd go with Pulp Fiction over Snatch, but really, not by much. And Razateca, Vinnie Jones first move would probably be to hit Sam Jackson in the balls, so I'd have to say that Vinnie would probably win.

Not really a "free agent" deal, but it's hockey related, so from The Toronto Star, an opinion about the Leafs newest puppet... er, GM. Nice to see that we missed out on signing (or at least trying to sign) some decent players (not named Kariya and Selanne) to find out that we're getting a rookie GM...

"Keegan Fills Schmeichel's Gap With Seaman" was the actual headline. It's the kind of title that the editor is supposed to catch before they send the article to print. Of course, seeing as it was online, I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentional.
